Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 102: A $3 Million OrderChapter 102: A $ Million Order

Just as Lin Chenran said, the Pterosaur aircraft is a toy for the rich and a powerful weapon for the military of rich countries.

For the Yan State military, the situation is not so simple.

Even though they have the ability to shell out one or two hundred million dollars, it is not worth it to buy the Wing Loong aircraft.

”Mr. Wei, future wars will be a contest of high technology. Whoever has more advanced technology will have the advantage on a complex battlefield.” Lin Chenran pointed out bluntly.

Although the Soviet Union’s steel torrent was impressive and had a strong deterrent effect, the Eagle Sauce’s later high-tech warfare mode was more efficient.

Before the opponent can react, all valuable targets can be quickly destroyed and the opponent’s command system can be paralyzed.

It is even possible that the enemy has been completely defeated before they even notice it.

A Yan country military leader stood up and said: ”Director Lin, you know the situation of our military expenditure. Spending five million US dollars to buy only one Wing Loong aircraft is not proportional to the input and output of our military.”

The Yan State military also longs to have more advanced and sci-fi weapons and equipment, but currently the Yan State military does not have the economic strength to do so.

”Yes, when the domestic economy develops, your military spending will increase.” Lin Chenran said slowly.

This is a very realistic problem. Yan State does not have much funds at hand right now, and the military can only be patient.

As the economy develops, military spending will naturally increase.

”Can you?”

Before Elder Wei could finish, Lin Chenran rejected him directly: ”The price of the Pterosaur aircraft is very expensive. Even if we sell it to the military at the factory price, it is still quite expensive.”

He went on to say: ”The Wing Loong aircraft embodies most of the technological strength of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory, especially its power output device and energy storage device, which are the best in the world.”

You can spend money on it, but you can’t give it as a gift. The price is there.

I can give you the factory price, but you can’t get it for free!
The price of a Pterosaur aircraft is equivalent to four or five Apocalypse tanks.

”Lin boy, you are really a miser with three hoops on your back - you are so stingy that you don’t even want to spend a penny.”

Lin Chenran showed a helpless smile on his face. He sighed and said, ”Mr. Wei, the military always takes advantage of our 077 Machinery Military Factory. This has completely wiped out our military factory.”

After the Saudi representatives from the Camel Region had fully enjoyed the flight, the negotiations between the two sides officially began.

”Lin, the pterosaur aircraft designed and developed by your factory is really cool. We want to import a batch of them back.”

Abdul made no secret of their desire for the Pterosaur aircraft and stated their needs directly.

Hearing this, Lin Chenran’s mouth curled up slightly and he smiled secretly in his heart, because this was completely within his expectations.

Even if the Saudi military in the Camel Area has no purchase plans, Abdul and other representatives will definitely buy some Wing Loong aircraft and bring them back to Saudi Arabia for their own appreciation and play.

Lin Chenran smiled and responded: ”Abdul, my friend, the Wing Dragon aircraft brings together all the top technologies of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory, especially its power system and energy storage system, which are at the world’s leading level.”

”Therefore, the price of the Pterosaur aircraft is very high.”

Abdul waved his hand and emphasized again in a bold tone: ”Lin, price is not a problem.”

Since Abdul said so, Lin Chenran nervously quoted the price: ”The price of a Wing Dragon aircraft is five million US dollars.”

Then, he quickly explained: ”Abdul, our 077 Mechanical Military Factory only earns some hard work fees. The Wing Dragon aircraft embodies a lot of black technology, so...”

”And we will only produce in small batches in the future.”

At this time, the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal also began to become nervous. If they could reach a cooperation with Abdul this time, it would undoubtedly be a good thing for them.

The 077 Machinery Military Factory received another large order.

However, when the Saudi representatives in the Camel Region heard that ”a Wing Loong aircraft costs five million US dollars”, they did not show too much surprise. For them, five million US dollars is not an astronomical figure, and even a luxury car in the hands of some people may cost more than five million US dollars.

Abdul smiled and said, ”Lin, the price is not very expensive! Only five million US dollars!!!”

He spread his hands slightly, looking very relaxed.

”I thought you would bid more than 10 million US dollars.” He continued, with a sly look in his eyes.

When the Yan country’s military leaders heard the price, they were all surprised.

They looked at each other, as if they couldn’t believe their ears.

What?
A Wing Loong aircraft costs five million US dollars. Isn’t that expensive?
As expected, only the wealthy people in Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region would think that a Wing Loong aircraft that costs five million US dollars is not expensive.

They have endless wealth and resources and can easily afford such a price.

We don’t understand the world of rich people!!!
Abdul: ”Lin, on behalf of our Saudi military, I would like to purchase forty Wing Loong aircraft from your 077 Mechanical Military Factory.”

Forty Pterosaur aircraft?

An order worth two hundred million US dollars!
Upon hearing this, the top executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory instantly blushed and smiled.

”hiss!”

”This……”

A number of Yan country’s senior military officials gasped.

Upon hearing this, Lin Chenran stood up excitedly to express his gratitude: ”Abdul, thank you for your recognition of the Wing Dragon aircraft of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory.”

Abdul interrupted Lin Chenran and continued, ”Lin, don’t get excited yet, there will be more exciting things later.”

”I have discussed with Salman and others that we will privately purchase 20 Wing Loong aircraft to bring back.”

After Abdul finished speaking, Lin Chenran found it unbelievable. He didn’t expect that Abdul would purchase twenty Wing Loong aircraft to take back.

This is clearly a personal act.

”what!”

”Abdul, really?”

Lin Chenran asked again.

This is a super huge order totaling 300 million US dollars!
”Lin, my friend, this is true. We are very optimistic about the Pterosaur aircraft of your 077 Mechanical Military Factory. It can not only be used in military applications, but also has collection and bragging value.”

Abdul could even imagine himself showing off his Pterosaur aircraft to others.

”Lin, can I make two small requests?”

”Abdul, you say!”

Abdul then stated his demands.

That is, the personal version of the Pterosaur aircraft needs the help of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to make it cooler.

And the second request: Abdul hopes to take the three Wing Loong aircraft back to Saudi Arabia in the Camel area.

Upon hearing this, Lin Chenran agreed to Abdul’s request without hesitation.
