Chapter 63: Mr. Wei: Congratulations on your fortuneChapter 63: Mr. Wei: Congratulations on your fortune
”Are you right?”

”Or did I hear it wrong?”

”077 Mechanical Military Factory reached a cooperation with the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region on the Apocalypse Tank and received an investment sponsorship of 2.5 million US dollars?”

Mr. Wei opened his eyes wide, his face full of disbelief. He even suspected that he had heard it wrong, so he asked again.

”Mr. Wei, you heard it right. It is indeed an investment of 2.5 million US dollars.”

The military representative of Yan State repeated what he had just said with a serious face.

”Forehead……”

”Did they really manage to negotiate with the 077 Mechanical Military Factory?”

”2.5 million US dollars?”

The expression on Mr. Wei’s face froze for a moment, then quickly turned into surprise and emotion.

He really didn’t expect that Lin Chenran could actually successfully sell the Apocalypse Tank and obtain a huge amount of investment - a full 2.5 million US dollars!
This is a huge amount of money.

This is just the beginning.

According to the agreement, Saudi Arabia in the Camel region will not only purchase a large number of Apocalypse tanks, but also establish its own manufacturing production line and be responsible for a series of tasks including after-sales maintenance.

By this calculation, the total investment will be at least 500 million to 600 million US dollars.

Based on Mr. Wei’s understanding of Lin Chenran, he will definitely not miss this opportunity to make money.

Lin Chenran will definitely try his best to let Camel go to Yusha Country to buy more Apocalypse tanks to obtain more profits.

When he thought about the huge profits that the 077 Mechanical Military Factory could make, Mr. Wei felt so uncomfortable that he scratched his ears and cheeks. His heart felt itchy as if it was scratched by a cat’s claws. He felt very uncomfortable!
Elder Wei pondered for a moment, thinking to himself: ”No, the Yan country military must get a share of the Apocalypse tank!”

So take action immediately!

Mr. Wei did what he said and dialed the phone number of the director’s office of 077 Mechanical Arsenal without hesitation.

At the same time, Lin Chenran had just finished discussing various matters with Song Xiyun and was about to leave the office.

Just then, the phone in the office suddenly rang.

Lin Chenran couldn’t help but frown and thought, ”Who is calling so late?” He really couldn’t think of who would call him at this moment.

But deep down in his heart he had a vague premonition that told him that this call might be related to the Apocalypse Tank, or even because of the $2.5 million order from Saudi Arabia in the Camel region.

After thinking for a long time, Lin Chenran decided to pick up the phone on the table and asked with a little nervousness and hesitation: ”Hello, who are you looking for?”

His tone sounded a little reserved and uneasy, as if he was worried about what might happen next.

A familiar yet unexpected voice came from the other end of the phone, making Lin Chenran’s heart instantly tense.

He heard the other party say, ”Lin boy, it’s me!” This voice was very familiar to Lin Chenran, because it belonged to the head of the Yan State’s military equipment department - Mr. Wei!
Then, Mr. Wei added: ”Congratulations on your fortune!”

These words were like a thunderclap, causing Lin Chenran’s heart to tremble violently.

”Forehead?”

Lin Chenran couldn’t help but let out a puzzled sigh.

He realized that his previous guess was correct. It was indeed a call from the Yan State military, and it was made by Mr. Wei himself.

He thought to himself: ”This is obviously for the $2.5 million!”

Lin Chenran pondered secretly in his heart, and at the same time felt an indescribable pressure.

”Haha, Mr. Wei, you can make money there. The 077 Mechanical Military Factory is extremely poor now.” Lin Chenran changed the subject with a laugh.

”You still want to hide it from me at this time?” Elder Wei frowned and directly exposed his little thoughts. ”You have reached a cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region because of the Apocalypse Tank. The other party invested 2.5 million US dollars in your Apocalypse Tank project.”

Elder Wei interrupted Lin Chenran and spoke straight to the point.

Hearing Lin Chenran’s words, he was shocked, but quickly regained his composure.

”2.5 million US dollars!” exclaimed Mr. Wei.

”Damn it, how did you negotiate? How did you trick the other party into investing so much money in the Apocalypse tanks of your 077 Mechanical Military Factory?”

Mr. Wei immediately burst into swearing, feeling that it was not real at all.

Lin Chenran suddenly felt a little scared and trembled unconsciously. He quickly explained: ”I didn’t lie. It was just a normal business negotiation. The representatives of Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region are very interested in our Apocalypse Tank and believe that it has high value and potential.”

”They think our tanks can compete with the T72 tanks of the Russian bear and the M1 tanks of the Eagle Sauce, so they invested in the second-generation main battle tank project of our 077 Machinery Arsenal.”

“It’s impossible to offer such a high price, right?” Mr. Wei still didn’t believe it.

Lin Chenran scratched his head and said awkwardly: ”Actually there are some other factors, such as our promise to provide technical support, training and other services, as well as the subsequent assembly and commissioning of the production line.”

”Lin, what are you going to do with these 2.5 million US dollars?”

Mr. Wei asked briefly.

”Mr. Wei, your military is not planning to take advantage of this 2.5 million US dollars, right?”

”Don’t even think about it. 2.5 million US dollars is not enough. Our 077 Mechanical Military Factory will have to invest a part of the funds into it.”

Lin Chenran refused without even thinking about it.

If 2.5 million US dollars fall into the hands of the Yan country’s military, it would be like throwing meat buns at a dog - it will never come back.

”how could be?”

”I just want to ask you how to spend 2.5 million US dollars. I can help you plan it.”

Of course, Mr. Wei would not say, ”2.5 million US dollars, give it to you!”

Lin Chenran curled his lips and thought to himself: ”You’re still helping me with planning? It seems that you just want the 2.5 million US dollars in my hand.”

”No, no, no, our 077 Mechanical Military Factory will plan it out.”

”I plan to continue my journey north to Russia in a few days to discuss matters related to the 760-horsepower four-stroke V-12-cylinder V-46 diesel engine.”

”I estimate that it would cost about $760 million to introduce the technology for a 12-horsepower four-stroke V-46 V- diesel engine.”

Lin Chenran’s words made Mr. Wei fall into deep thought.

He was so bold that he spent 760 million US dollars to import the Russian Federation’s 12-horsepower four-stroke V-46-cylinder V- diesel engine.

Elder Wei was puzzled: ”Lin, do you really need to spend 760 million US dollars to import a 12 horsepower four-stroke V-46 cylinder V- diesel engine?”

”You said before that this is a relatively backward technology (bear).”

Lin Chenran on the other end of the phone hesitated at first, then said calmly: ”Mr. Wei, although this tank engine technology is relatively backward for the Russians.”

”But it is still world-class, so the price is definitely going to be expensive.”

”This is the engine used in the basic version of the T72 tank.”

Although it is relatively expensive, Lin Chenran feels that it is worth it if he can buy it for 50 million US dollars.
