Chapter 87 No one can save you, I said!!!Chapter 87 No one can save you, I said!!!

Lin Chenran was stunned for a moment. He touched his head in confusion and muttered to himself, ”What’s going on?”

Exposed?
It’s not like it’s Mr. Wei calling me again and saying, ”Wish you good fortune and prosperity, right?”

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but feel helpless and irritated. After all, every time the military called him, nothing good ever happened.

He also knew that he had to answer the call, because if he didn’t, they would most likely go directly to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal to find him, which would only cause more trouble.

At this moment, Song Xiyun came over and whispered to Lin Chenran, ”Chenran, could it be that the military has learned about our cooperation with the Damu Nation in the Camel Region?”

Hearing this, Lin Chenran also frowned, secretly confused.

According to common sense, the Yan State military should not have known so quickly that its own 077 Mechanical Military Factory had reached a cooperation with the Damu State in the Camel Region.

They had just signed the contract and sent away the representatives from Damu Country, and right after that the military called to inquire about this matter?

It’s so weird.

Lin Chenran sighed deeply.

I thought to myself: I’ll get killed if I stick my head out, and I’ll die anyway, so I might as well just go and answer the phone.

So he stood up, left the meeting room and walked towards his office.

Song Xiyun followed closely behind, he also wanted to know why the Yan State military called.

Lin Chenran came to the office, picked up the phone on the desk, and dialed back.

”Dudududu!”

Lin Chenran was feeling uneasy at this moment. He didn’t know why Mr. Wei suddenly called him, and it was so urgent.

I thought to myself: ”It’s probably about the Damu Kingdom.”

After a while, the call was connected!

”Hey! Is that Lin kid?”

There was a powerful shout coming from the other end of the phone, as if one could feel the other party’s majesty and aura through the phone.

”Mr. Wei, why are you so anxious to find me here?”

Lin Chenran asked in a calm tone. Although he was a little nervous inside, he tried his best to remain calm.

Mr. Wei was his grandfather’s comrade-in-arms and a senior he always admired.

”Lin boy, I heard that you met with people from the Damu country in the Camel region.”

Mr. Wei asked straight to the point, his voice revealing a hint of seriousness and concern.

Lin Chenran’s heart tightened, and he thought to himself: ”Sure enough...”

He took a deep breath and answered truthfully, ”Yes, we did have a meeting with them.”

”What are you discussing? Is it about the sale of weapons and equipment?”

”I warn you, you are not allowed to sell weapons and equipment to Damu Country. The weapons and equipment of your 077 Mechanical Military Factory cannot ’go abroad’. The other country has been blocked by a number of countries. The weapons sold cannot enter the Camel area, let alone be delivered to the other side.”

Although Mr. Wei’s tone was rather harsh, Lin Chenran understood that there was more care and love behind it.

Mr. Wei was very worried that Lin Chenran would accidentally fall into the trap set by the Damu Kingdom, so he signed the contract and secretly provided weapons and equipment to the other party.

He absolutely did not want a rising star to fall, and he was even more unwilling to see the grandson of his old comrade make a mistake.

”Ok?”

”Mr. Wei, how did you know that our 077 Mechanical Military Factory was discussing cooperation with representatives from the Damu Country?”

Lin Chenran asked back without hesitation.

”How could I not know? The plane carrying Daniel Harper from Damu Country just landed, and our military received the news immediately.”

”Do you think our intelligence system is just for show?” Mr. Wei asked bluntly.

Although Yan Country’s intelligence system is not as famous as Russia’s KGB spy organization, they will be the first to know about everything that happens in Yan Country.

”Ok?”

”Mr. Wei, I never said that!”

Lin Chenran quickly waved his hands and denied it.

He prayed secretly in his heart that some big shots would not cause trouble for him.

When Elder Wei heard Lin Chenran’s panicked tone, he burst into laughter: ”You, kid, will be scared one day too.”

Lin Chenran immediately admitted his mistake and said, ”Mr. Wei, you can’t trick me. I’m really panicked and scared right now.” After saying that, he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

”Nervous?” Old Wei raised his eyebrows and asked, ”Were you panicked and scared when you were negotiating cooperation with Damu Country?” His tone was full of ridicule and blame.

”You are so bold to cooperate with them. You dare to make any money.” Mr. Wei criticized with a serious face.

”Eh? Mr. Wei, am I such a person in your eyes? I dare to make money by anything?” Lin Chenran asked aggrievedly.

”Yes, there is nothing you, Lin Chenran, dare not do.”

”What stage have you reached in the negotiation? If the contract has not been signed yet, then politely reject Daniel Harper of the Great Wood Country and say that you have received a notice from your superiors that you cannot provide them with weapons and equipment.”

”Remember, be firm in your attitude and tactful in your language, understand?”

Mr. Wei patiently explained to Lin Chenran, trying to give him a solution to the problem.

However, Lin Chenran on the other end of the phone hesitated.

”Forehead?”

This little hesitation did not escape Wei Lao’s ears, and he immediately realized that things might be more complicated than he thought.

”Lin Chenran, you haven’t signed an arms sales contract with the Damu Kingdom, have you?” Old Wei’s voice became serious and nervous.

Lin Chenran hesitated for a moment, then answered honestly: ”Yes, I have signed the contract.”

When Mr. Wei heard this, he suddenly felt desperate. He shouted angrily: ”You are playing with fire.”

”You know what?”

”Your grandfather, Old Man Lin, can’t save you either. I said so.”

”This is really a disaster!”

Old Wei muttered to himself.

Then Elder Wei roared and gave Lin Chenran a ”death order”:
”You must immediately explain everything to Daniel Harper. Even if you have to pay a portion of the penalty, you must cancel the deal. Otherwise...”

Lin Chenran smiled bitterly, he was misunderstood by Mr. Wei, who misunderstood that he had signed an arms sales contract with the Damu Kingdom.

”Mr. Wei, please don’t be impatient. Just listen to me first.”

Lin Chenran was about to continue speaking when he was interrupted by Elder Wei: ”I don’t want to listen, I don’t want to listen, you must terminate the contract with Daniel Harper immediately, otherwise, you will be in big trouble.”

”If I wasn’t at the 077 Mechanical Arms Factory, I would have given you a full-on fight.”

Lin Chenran explained directly: ”Mr. Wei, we signed a contract with Damu Country, but it was not a military sales contract, but another contract.”

”What?”

”Other contracts?”

”People from Damu Country don’t buy weapons and equipment?”

”Who are you lying to?”
