Chapter 89: 2 US dollars is the bottom line!!!Chapter 89: 2 million US dollars is the bottom line!!!
Lin Chenran’s face turned gloomy in an instant.

Robbing blatantly!
Is there any more heavenly justice?
But on second thought, it seems that I really can’t compete with the other party.

“Uh?” Lin Chenran sighed helplessly.

”Mr. Wei, why do you military always take advantage of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory?”

”Can’t you dare to do something like that in other third-tier military factories?”

”The contract has just been signed, and the payment to Damu Country has not yet been settled, but your military has already set its sights on it. Have you figured out how to use this foreign exchange?” Lin Chenran felt very helpless.

Not long ago, their 077 Mechanical Military Factory had million US dollars in foreign exchange ”squeezed away” by the Yan State military, and now the Yan State military wants to ”repeat the old tricks” and squeeze another sum of money from them.

The 077 Mechanical Arsenal was plucking like Ge You, with a bald head.

”Ahahaha, it’s not that our military is targeting your 077 Mechanical Arsenal on purpose, we just happened to run into it.”

”I don’t know whether it’s our military that’s lucky or your 077 Mechanical Arsenal that’s unlucky.”

Mr. Wei was in an extremely happy mood at this time.

He was very pleased to learn that his comrade’s grandson had not made any mistakes and had successfully negotiated a deal of up to 1.2 million US dollars with the Damu Kingdom in the Camel Region.

An indescribable emotion surged in Lin Chenran’s heart, as if there was a word ”fuck” stuck in his throat, but he didn’t know whether he should say it out loud.

Originally, Lin Chenran planned to sign a contract with the Damu Country in the Camel Region in a low-key manner to supply civilian supplies (heavy mortars + gas tank shells + mobile simplified version of Katyusha rocket launchers) and try not to attract attention.

But who could have imagined that the Yan State military’s intelligence system was so powerful that Daniel Harper was under close surveillance as soon as he got off the plane.

It really fits what Mr. Wei said: ”I don’t know whether you are unlucky or we are lucky.”

Now that they have been discovered, Mr. Wei will definitely fight for the proper benefits for the Yan State military.

Today, the Yan State military’s demand for foreign exchange is very urgent.

If they can get enough foreign exchange support, it will play an important role in national defense development.

Lin Chenran thought for a while, then said calmly: ”Mr. Wei, this time our 077 Mechanical Military Factory has admitted defeat, but we can’t convert all the 1.2 million US dollars in our hands into Yanbi.”

”Because our 077 Machinery Military Factory also needs to use these foreign currencies to purchase advanced equipment and technology from abroad, which can enhance the strength and competitiveness of our factory.”

”I can only exchange 2 million US dollars at most.”

Although only 2 million US dollars were exchanged, overall, the 077 Machinery Arsenal still suffered a loss.

It’s still a pity for the existence of Ma.

It’s just giving money directly to the Yan State military.

The US dollar is closely linked to commodities such as oil and gold, and its value is relatively stable;
The exchange rate of Yanbi fluctuates greatly, which may lead to a decrease in actual purchasing power.

The exchange rate on the black market is as high as 1 US dollar for 8 or even more than Yan coins.

Elder Wei could not help but feel very surprised, thinking to himself: ”Why did this guy agree to exchange 20 million US dollars for Yanbi so readily?”

”Is there a conspiracy?”

At this moment, Mr. Wei was lost in deep thought, trying to find the answer.

Lin Chenran is not someone who compromises easily.

When the 077 Mechanical Military Factory successfully reached a cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the Camel area and obtained US$2.5 million in foreign exchange, the Yan State military had hoped to get a share of it, but Lin Chenran refused to give in.

After some bargaining, Lin Chenran reluctantly agreed to exchange 50 million US dollars from the Yan State military.

Why is he so generous now?
Elder Wei asked tentatively, ”Lin, you didn’t dig a trap and wait for our military to fall into it, did you?”

Mr. Wei was full of vigilance and suspicion.

Seems to be aware of it.

”If something happens, twenty million dollars won’t be enough.” He directly expressed his doubts.

If the Yan Country military is really needed to help the 077 Mechanical Military Factory solve some of the problems, then this amount of money is obviously far from enough.

Hearing this, Lin Chenran couldn’t help but be stunned for a moment, muttering to himself: ”How can you be so perceptive and guess my intention so quickly?”

He quickly explained with a smile: ”Oh, Mr. Wei, you think too much, how could I set a trap!”

However, Elder Wei started to curse directly: ”Humph, you still say no? You kid, you really make me worry.”

There was a hint of dissatisfaction and reproach in his tone.

Lin Chenran laughed loudly, trying to ease the atmosphere: ”Haha, Mr. Wei, you misunderstood. This is not a trap. I just hope that your military can help deal with some small matters.”

Then, Lin Chenran explained to Mr. Wei in detail the specific matters that required assistance from the Yan State military.

The cooperation between the 077 Mechanical Military Factory and the Damu Country is ”borderline”, using clever tricks to avoid the blockade of countries such as the United States.

But in general, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory does provide weapons and equipment to the Damu Kingdom.

It’s just that these weapons and equipment were assembled in Damu Country.

After it was discovered that Lin Chenran needed his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory, the Yan State military supported him and claimed that it would only provide civilian supplies and no weapons and equipment.

Hearing this, Elder Wei thought to himself, ”So that’s how it is. I thought the Yan army would have to go through fire and water!”

Mr. Wei originally wanted to gain greater benefits for the Yan State military.

But Lin Chenran was not happy.

”Mr. Wei, your military is only doing such a small thing. 2 million US dollars is already our bottom line. If you are not willing to do it, I believe other departments are willing to do it.”

”At worst, I can ask other departments to do it. It may not cost 2 million US dollars, and 5 million US dollars may be enough.”

Lin Chenran said directly that 2 million US dollars was the bottom line. If the Yan State military wanted more, he would contact other departments of the Yan State.

The diplomatic department belongs to the government!

and so……

When Mr. Wei heard this, he fell silent.

That’s true, so let’s quit while we’re ahead.

The 2 million US dollars was also a pleasant surprise.

”Okay! 2 million dollars is 2 million dollars.”

Mr. Wei agreed on behalf of the Yan State military.

After chatting for a while, the two hung up the phone.

”Ah! It’s really tiring to talk to military leaders.”

Lin Chenran sighed deeply, a look of fatigue appearing on his face.

Song Xiyun, who was standing by, came over and said with a smile, ”Only you, Lin Chenran, dare to negotiate terms with Elder Wei.”

He couldn’t help but admire Lin Chenran.

”Mr. Song, if other people can fight for the interests of the Yan Kingdom military like I do, they can also bargain with Mr. Wei in this way.”

”And the military can get 2 million US dollars in foreign exchange just by talking.”

Lin Chenran immediately started to argue.

Song Xiyun shook his head and left Lin Chenran’s office. He still had things to deal with.
