Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 83: Airtight blockade? Easily taken down!!!Chapter 83: Airtight blockade? Easily taken down!!!
Lin Chenran enthusiastically guided Daniel Harper into the building of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal and took him to the conference room.

This person is the legendary ”sugar daddy”, so naturally we have to treat him warmly.

After everyone sat down in the conference room, before they had time to exchange a few pleasantries, Daniel Harper couldn’t wait to get straight to the point and asked, ”Lin, I heard that your company can provide us with a heavy mortar and a mobile, simplified Katyusha rocket launcher. Is that true?”

Since the Damu Kingdom was in urgent need of weapons and equipment, Daniel Harper could not care less and could only ask directly.

Seeing this, Lin Chenran raised the corners of his mouth slightly, showing a smile and said: ”Daniel Harper, you are anxious again.”

”Don’t worry!”

”Please listen to me slowly.”

Seeing the other party’s eager look, Lin Chenran was secretly happy, thinking that there was a high probability that the deal could be done.

”You speak and I listen!”

The anxious look on Daniel Harper’s face did not disappear.

”We at the 077 Mechanical Arsenal do have a heavy mortar and a mobile, simplified Katyusha rocket launcher, and we can deliver them to your military through the blockade.”

”Not only that, it can also be transported on a large scale to your Damu Country.”

Lin Chenran’s tone was calm, but his eyes were full of confidence and determination. He stared straight at Daniel Harper, trying to see some reaction from his face.

”Really?”

Daniel Harper’s eyes widened in shock.

Although the former can be transported into Damu Country secretly, the quantity is limited after all.

As for the latter, Lin Chenran actually dared to say that it could be transported to Damu Country on a large scale.

How could this not surprise Daniel Harper.

”Of course, but...”

Lin Chenran paused deliberately, and then said in a hesitant tone: ”This price may be a bit high.”

Daniel Harper was incoherent when he heard this: ”Price is not a problem, as long as the weapons and equipment are suitable and can be shipped to our country on a large scale.”

Although the Damu Kingdom is still in a state of war, what they need most now is weapons and equipment.

Even though we don’t have much money, we have to fight to the end even if we have to borrow money in order to win the war.

There are also important strategic materials under the Damu Kingdom - oil.

As long as the country is stable, we can start digging for oil.

”Here are the blueprints for our two weapons.”

”One is a heavy mortar, and the other is also a mobile, simplified version of the Katyusha rocket launcher.”

Since Daniel Harper thinks price is not a problem, then it’s easy. Lin Chenran directly “brings out the hard goods” and lets the other party “take a look”.

”This……”

Daniel Harper watched and browsed it, and in an instant his brows frowned.

Is this a heavy mortar?
Is this a mobile simplified version of the Katyusha rocket launcher?
It’s too simple!
”Lin, this...” Daniel Harper couldn’t help but doubt. Will this really work?

Daniel Harper’s face gradually became ugly, and he began to suspect whether Lin Chenran was deliberately teasing him.

I was just about to get up and leave.

Seeing this, Lin Chenran stopped the other party directly: ”Daniel Harper, my friend, don’t worry, I know what you are thinking, but please allow me to introduce two pieces of equipment from our 077 Mechanical Arsenal. If they are not suitable, it is not too late for you to leave.” Lin Chenran’s tone was firm and sincere, making it impossible to refuse.

Daniel Harper hesitated for a moment, but was eventually persuaded to give in, mainly because Damu Country was in dire need of weapons and equipment.

”Lin, my time is limited. My country needs me now. I can’t stay here for too long and listen to you introduce useless weapons and equipment.”

Daniel Harper deliberately emphasized the word ”useless weaponry” to express his dissatisfaction.

Daniel Harper, the barrel of this heavy mortar is made of the latest steel material developed by our 077 Mechanical Arsenal. ” (The steel from the retired and scrapped warships of the Russian Bear was recycled.)
”This steel material contains various special metals, and its strength is no less than that of military steel.”

No shame!
Just say that this is the latest special steel developed by the company.

After hearing this, Song Xiyun’s face twitched unconsciously and he tried not to laugh.

I felt very uncomfortable.

”We have also cleverly camouflaged the barrels and designed their appearance to look like ordinary steel water pipes. You can then announce that these steel water pipes are for people’s water supply projects, thus easily breaking through the blockade of Western countries led by the United States.

Steel water pipes were introduced and after some simple modifications and processing in the country of Damu, they were transformed into the barrel of a powerful heavy mortar.

This solution is both smart and practical, and it is eye-catching.

When Daniel Harper heard this, his eyes suddenly lit up with excitement. He couldn’t help but exclaimed: ”This is absolutely wonderful!”

Lin Chenran’s plan directly found a loophole in the Western blockade, leaving them helpless.

Civilian goods are not included in the blockade.

077 Mechanical Arsenal does not need to bear any responsibility or risk.

Selling ordinary steel water pipes is not illegal, which undoubtedly provides them with an excellent opportunity.

The most important thing now is whether the special civilian steel produced by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory can really be comparable to military steel.

Although they are all steel, there are significant differences between them, especially in terms of strength.

Lin Chenran noticed that Daniel Harper’s face showed a mixture of embarrassment and excitement, and he was secretly happy, because he understood that the other party had obviously been attracted.

He said confidently: ”Daniel Harper, please rest assured that the civilian special steel produced by our 077 Mechanical Arsenal is mainly used in the field of civilian products, but it is in no way inferior to military steel in all aspects.”

In order to further dispel the other party’s concerns, Lin Chenran immediately said: ”After the meeting, I will personally take you to the site for a visit so that you can experience the excellent quality of our products for yourself.”

Words are not enough, only seeing it with your own eyes can make you feel at ease.

The more Daniel Harper looked at this heavy mortar, the more he liked it.

This can be introduced into the country on a large scale, and it can be introduced openly and honestly.

Daniel Harper thought of a saying from an old man in Yan country: ”It doesn’t matter if the cat is black or white, as long as it can catch mice, it is a good cat.”

Now the Damu country is in short supply of weapons and equipment, especially heavy weapons and equipment.

The heavy weapons and equipment provided by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal are very much in line with the needs of our country.

”Lin, when are we going to test this heavy mortar?”

“I can’t wait!!!”

Daniel Harper looked at Lin Chenran in front of him with a smile and spoke lightly.

”Wait a minute, I still need to introduce its shells.”
