Chapter 38 I Found You

Chapter 38 I Found You
The crisis was temporarily lifted, and Lin Ye quickly ran to Hassan’s side.

Without saying much, he just took his arm, picked him up, and rushed towards the warehouse.

At this time, Qin Lie had already smashed the wooden partitions of the warehouse with his gun, and kicked open the supply boxes blocking the way in the warehouse.

Lin Ye handed Hassan to Qin Lie and the others and warned:
”Find the armored vehicle and wait for me at the gate of the base!”

After that, he turned around and rushed out of the warehouse, directing the Erikan soldiers to evacuate.

Major Sim, who was still struggling to resist, wanted to give up the opportunity to evacuate. He killed the rushing zombies with a single shuttle, and then said in a trembling voice:
”Further back is the base residential area. We retreat, what will happen to those civilians!”

Lin Ye grabbed the other party’s collar and shouted, ”It’s too late!”

While speaking, a rocket exploded in the prefab area, and the rising red flames lit up the gloomy sky.

Major Sim turned his head slightly, looking past the angry boy and towards the path leading to the wounded tent.

There, already lying full of corpses soaked in blood.

”No!” Major Sim yelled madly.

Lin Ye gritted his teeth and slapped him immediately, then dragged him and led the few surviving soldiers to quickly evacuate along the warehouse area.

Beside the warehouse, female reporter Maria was squatting next to the corpse. She was so frightened that her legs were trembling and she could not move even half a step.

When she saw someone passing by, she immediately stretched out her hand and shouted ”help”, but Lin Ye raised his hand and shot him.

The female reporter swayed and fell to the ground, tears mixed with blood running down her face.

”Why did you do that?” asked Major Sim, startled.

Lin Ye gave him a cold look: ”One more corpse, one less enemy!”

Everyone rushed out of the warehouse and saw that the nearby residential area was completely in chaos.

The screaming civilians rushed out, making it impossible for the army to shoot.

In the end, the commander could only order to surround all the exits of the residential area, and then bombarded all the tents and board houses with shells.

But even if they do this, they cannot effectively intercept the zombies. Several swift black figures directly cross the protective net and run towards other buildings and facilities in the base.

At the same time, there were riots at the outer fortifications, and the place was surrounded by dark zombies!

Lin Ye led everyone to evacuate towards the base gate, preparing to meet Qin Lie and the others.

But before running far, there was a violent vibration from the center of the base, and huge cracked rock spiders emerged from the holes in the ground.

At first, Lin Ye thought it was just a wave of Zerg fighters coming to support, and it would not pose too much threat.

But what happened next made him completely unexpected.

Not long after the Gap Rock Spider appeared, the concrete floor in the center of the base suddenly bulged upwards, then exploded instantly, and the surrounding buildings collapsed at the same time.

Along with the shattered building debris, hundreds of rift rock spiders poured out of the cave and rushed in all directions as soon as they landed.

And through the huge pothole, you can still vaguely see the figure of the titan worm.

The commotion under the ground still shows no signs of stopping.

In less than a few seconds, with the rising white smoke, the concrete floor was dissolved by the strong corrosive mucus, and a crack across the entire base appeared in front of everyone.

The protective nets on both sides lost their support and were instantly breached by the zombie swarm.

The scene in front of them was so shocking and horrifying that everyone paused subconsciously.

At this moment, the stalker who appeared from nowhere turned into a black shadow, ripped open the throat of the soldier in front, rushed towards Lin Ye, and directly pushed him to the ground.

It’s very fast, or rather, too fast.

Lin Ye noticed something was wrong, so he quickly focused his gaze, and a translucent data window popped up in front of him:
[Faction: Unknown]

【Age: Unknown】

[Physical: 133]

【Strength: 24】

【Wisdom: 41】

[Command: 10]]

【Occupation: Unknown】

[Skill: Unknown]

Lin Ye frowned immediately, and his eyes fixed on the stalker in front of him through the flickering data.

How does this guy have a property panel?
Moreover, [Physique] has reached 130, and the two attributes of [Strength] and [Intelligence] are also very high.

It’s not a zombie at all.

Is it!
Lin Ye’s shocked eyes betrayed him. The creature transformed into a stalker tilted his head, and a smile suddenly appeared on his ferocious face.

It said in blunt Chinese, word for word:

”Got you!”

It really is a silicon-based organism!
Lin Ye roared angrily, struggling to get up from the ground, but he was pressed firmly to the ground, unable to move a bit.

He reached for the shotgun that had fallen to the side, aimed at the silicon-based creature’s waist, and pressed the trigger hard.

But the silicon-based creature quickly grabbed the barrel and crushed it into rotten iron.

The moment he pressed the trigger, the shotgun exploded.

Without giving Lin Ye any chance to fight back, the silicon-based creature raised its phantom claws high, and then slapped it down hard.

In terms of the density of human bones, the head is the hardest, but with this kind of strength, it might turn into scum with just one palm.

At the critical moment, an armor-piercing bullet, carrying a golden heat wave, struck from a distance, passed directly through the body of the silicon-based creature, and sank into the concrete floor.

Before Lin Ye could react, a powerful energy flow came from the ground.

Afterwards, a violent explosion directly blasted him and the dying silicon-based creature into the air.

The next second, Barrett roared from above the sentry tower.

Cheng Bei fine-tuned the direction, aimed at the silicon-based creature that was still crawling on the ground, and fired another shot, smashing the target enemy into debris.

The disgraced Lin Ye got up from the ground, made a retreat gesture toward Cheng Bei, and then spat at the gradually dissolving corpses of silicon-based creatures.

He breathed a sigh of relief, picked up the assault rifle on the soldiers beside him, repelled the ordinary zombies who surrounded him one after another, and forcibly cleared a path.

He did not dare to waste time and quickly took the remaining people with him and hurried to the entrance of the base.

At the same time, Cheng Bei also emptied all the magazines. He folded up the tripod, put Barrett on his back neatly, climbed the ladder and slid all the way to the ground.

Almost at the same time, Lin Ye and the others arrived at the gate of the base.

And Qin Lie and Nan Xiao were already waiting in place in armored vehicles
After everyone got into the car, Qin Lie kicked the gas pedal, crushing the zombies and rushing out of the encirclement.

In addition to this armored vehicle, there was a convoy following behind. Several surviving base officers were sitting in the front off-road vehicle, and the colonel commander was among them.
