Chapter 33 Erikan Military Base

Chapter 33 Erikan Military Base

There was nothing weird at first, but after walking a few distances, Lin Ye and his party saw a large number of small holes in the tunnel dome, similar to what they had seen before.

And it’s not just this place, every other distance, the same scene will appear.

It looks like alien creatures have sent a group of fighters to the ground in a planned way.

Zerg, or zombies, will use such strategic means?
With doubts, Lin Ye continued to drive forward to explore.

About ten minutes later, he saw the tunnel in front of him collapse, and the sand and gravel completely blocked the road.

There’s a small fork on the right, but it’s not a branch of the tunnel, and the titan worms never do anything superfluous.

Moreover, judging from the irregular fracture marks on the edge, it should be a channel dug by other alien creatures themselves.

Lin Ye turned the direction of the armored vehicle and drove into the narrow branch road.

This time, he didn’t walk for long before he heard the sound of gunfire and the screams of zombies and Zerg.

Someone is at war with these alien creatures!

Sure enough, after driving less than 100 meters forward, zombies appeared in the shadows. The number of zombies made everyone in the car exclaim.

Seeing this situation, Lin Ye didn’t intend to retreat. He directly took out a few special grenades from the weapon box, opened the hatch and threw them out forcefully.

It’s not that he is nosy, but this fork is currently the only exit to the ground.

In addition, he also happened to test the effect of the special biochemical weapon, and if the expected effect was not achieved, he could prepare early.

The grenade fell into the pile of rubble in the passage, and the moment it touched the ground, gray-green smoke spewed out from it.

The zombies that were still howling to rush to the ground all turned around, froze for a moment, and immediately surrounded the location of the grenade.

A few seconds later, there was a loud noise in the passage.

The entire passage shook violently, and large pieces of mud and rocks fell from the top, burying all the zombies that were blown into pieces.

The sudden explosion also attracted the attention of the alien creatures in front, and the zombies and swarms dispatched part of their troops to attack the armored vehicle facing Lin Ye.

Upon seeing this, Lin Ye immediately directed Qin Lie to climb to the back of the armored vehicle and remotely control the heavy machine gun on the roof to fire.

Nan Xiao held the HK417 and shot at the enemy through the shooting hole in front.

Despite the suppression of the firepower of the heavy machine gun, it did not stop the progress of the alien creatures.

On the contrary, the special bullet fired by HK417 revealed its powerful power at this time.

The warhead exploded inside the zombies, and in an instant, green flames spread all over their bodies, and they began to burn violently.

After a while, a fire flickered in the dim passage.

Although the swarms are not as numerous as the zombies, they are more agile in the tunnels.

Especially after inserting their sharp appendages into the rock wall, they can easily climb along the top and sides of the passage.

At this time, more than a dozen rock spiders used this method to bypass the group of zombies and came on a rampage.

Qin Lie and Nan Xiao couldn’t separate their firepower to deal with these tricky bugs.

So Lin Ye asked Cheng Bei to control the armored vehicle, while he opened the hatch and stood on the roof, using a shotgun to stop the rock spider from advancing.

At first, he was worried that the 870MCS could not cause effective damage, but after some bombardment, he completely changed his view on special weapons.

It has to be said that after the modification, this gun is not only much more powerful, it is also extremely easy to deal with these alien creatures.

Basically, one bullet can break the armor covering the rock spider’s body, and the second shot will completely kill the huge rock spider.

The combined forces of the bug swarm and the zombies were blocked at both ends, and they were in such a narrow passage, it was impossible to retreat.

So under a pincer attack, it didn’t take long for them to be wiped out by the flying shells.

Although it is not known who on the ground is preventing the invasion of alien creatures, their firepower really surprised Lin Ye.

At least, it is not comparable to an armed organization like Stephen King.

And he knew the sound and power of the minigun all too well. Even if it was not a specially designed weapon to deal with alien creatures, its power was still astonishing.

However, the successive explosions made the channel more and more fragile, and small cracks began to spread on the top, and gradually expanded.

It looks like it won’t be long before this place is about to collapse.

Lin Ye jumped back into the armored vehicle, and then let Cheng Bei quickly drive up the slope formed by the piled up corpses.

The engine of the armored vehicle roared and rushed back to the ground, but as soon as the wheels hit the ground, the bullets flying in the distance splashed sparks on the armor.

If someone hadn’t shouted ”cease fire”, it is estimated that the rocket will be greeted in the next second.

When a military base appeared in front of them, everyone, including Lin Ye, couldn’t believe their eyes.

Looking through the monitoring equipment, the entire base covers an area of at least a hundred acres, which is much larger than the temporary residence in Yancheng, and the various facilities inside are much better.

Through the protective net, two helicopters parked in the open space and a row of wheeled armored vehicles behind can be seen from a distance.

It was the same model as the armored vehicle Lin Ye was driving at the moment.

But what surprised him even more was that there were actually many civilians inside, standing far away around the simple prefabricated house, watching what happened outside the base.

”who!”

Among the fortifications, someone stood up and shouted towards them with a gun.

Before Lin Ye had time to respond, the major sitting in the carriage became agitated, kept shaking his body and shouted loudly:

”Captain Murphy, it’s Captain Murphy!”

Lin Ye immediately turned to look at him when he heard the words, and asked in surprise, ”Could this be your base?”

The four Erikan soldiers, including the major, all nodded emphatically.

”Then the next thing will be left to you to do!”

Lin Ye drew out the dagger, cut the rope that bound the major, and then continued: ”Let the people outside let us in, and greet the guests from afar!”

However, the major just sneered and rubbed his wrists in response:

”What if I don’t want to?”

Lin Ye shrugged, turned around and took out a fully loaded rifle, and said disdainfully:

”Then you, including the three lieutenants around you, will have no use value to us. What will be thrown out of the car will only be four cold corpses!”

Under such threats, the major still did not waver.

Lin Ye had no choice but to endure the loud yelling outside the car, and analyzed the pros and cons of the situation to him with a smile:

”I still have armored vehicles and a large amount of supplies. If I can’t enter the base, the worst thing I can do is leave this place.”

After all, he pointed to the equipment box in the carriage and continued:

”However, I believe you can feel the intensity of the battle just now.

The power of the special equipment is far more powerful than we imagined.

Isn’t it for these things that you have worked so hard to go to the territory of the armed organization? Don’t you just let us leave now? ”

The major looked at the soldiers beside him, his eyes moved slightly.
