Chapter 28 Special Weapon

Chapter 28 Special Weapon
Lin Ye looked around the fully packed warehouse, confirmed the positions of several guards, and responded as if nothing had happened:

”At least, you have so many subordinates now, isn’t it a good thing in the last days?”

”Young man, it is not an easy task to support a large family in the last days. A little carelessness will cause irreparable losses.”

When he said this, Stephen stroked the gold ring, turned and looked at Hassan who was following behind, with a murderous look in his eyes.

He withdrew his gaze, smiled unabated, threw the sheepskin cloth down, and walked to the other side of the warehouse.

A few tables were placed there, and several large material boxes were stacked on them, all of which were strangely shaped firearms, quite a steampunk style.

Stephen took out one of the rifles, pulled the bolt, showed it in front of Lin Ye, and introduced these special equipment in an exaggerated tone:
”The catastrophe has made people panic, zombies and swarms are rampant in the world, you must have a weapon at your fingertips to be at ease, and these are the most worthwhile amulets in the doomsday!”

Although Lin Ye is not very used to this TV shopping-like sales method, it has to be said that Stephen is very talented in this aspect.

I saw the weapon dealer neatly disassemble the assault rifle in his hand, then put the parts neatly on the table, and introduced them one by one:

”This assault rifle is the best weapon I have here, and its prototype is HK417.

However, after modification, the shooting accuracy has been greatly improved, the stability of the firearm has been increased, and it is equipped with a drum with three times the capacity of ordinary magazines.

The newly designed muzzle flash suppressor and fiber stock greatly reduce recoil...”

However, before he finished speaking, he was interrupted by Lin Ye raising his hand:

”Wait a minute, according to your description, this gun is a new type of equipment derived from the military factory, but I didn’t hear anything special!”

”Expert!” Stephen chuckled, picked up a gun barrel from the table, and said mysteriously,
”Yes, the upgrade of firearms is not special, the real important thing is the bullet!”

As he spoke, he took out a box of bullets from the equipment box, took out one and placed it in front of Lin Ye:
”Because the special ammunition is so powerful, ordinary guns can’t bear it at all, and it will be scrapped after firing hundreds of bullets.

The gun was upgraded for special ammunition, such as this 21-inch extended all-titanium barrel and all-titanium flash hider! ”

Lin Ye took the bullet and examined it carefully.

The warhead is golden-white, and should be some kind of alloy steel, but a grey-green solid substance can be seen under the fine spiral grooves on the surface.

Not only that, the overall length of the bullet plus the cartridge is 7.62mm longer than that of the ordinary NATO12mm bullet, and the weight in the hand is also a bit heavier.

As he watched the bullet, Stephen went on to explain:
”The bullet entered the zombie body, and the change in the ambient temperature caused the high-temperature and high-pressure bullet to explode instantly.

It is filled with potions specially designed to restrain zombies, which will have a strong corrosive effect on the body of zombies, and it is also mixed with explosives. Once contaminated, those creatures will not be able to heal themselves in a short time.

It is especially effective for zombies with high physical defense. A few days ago, we encountered tall zombies like siege monsters, which would throw stones, building debris, and even clumps of zombies.

Ordinary bullets have no effect on it at all, and anti-material sniper rifles can’t even break through its skull. Even rocket bullets only leave some not-so-deep wounds on its body.

But this gun killed it with only five bullets, which shows its power. ”

After hearing this, Lin Ye clapped his hands and echoed: ”It’s so powerful!”

This sentence made Stephen who was standing in front of him nod his head, but this guy must never have imagined that Cheng Bei who was beside him could take away the second-order zombie-thrower with just one ordinary armor-piercing incendiary bomb.

However, this information also made him understand that Cheng Bei may have hidden it deeper than he imagined.

Thinking of this, Lin Ye picked up the HK417 in the weapon box, took a closer look, and asked:

”How about this gun against the swarm?”

Stephen shook his head a little mysteriously, and explained:

”There are specializations in the art industry, and different weapons deal with different creatures. For example, the gun in your hand has a new name after modification, Zombie Killer-HK417!”

Lin Ye put the rifle back to its original place, and then looked at the hidden weapon dealer beside him with an incredulous expression:

”There is a specialization in the art industry, do you still know this sentence?”

”I had several transactions with people from Huaguo before. Hassan said, you are also from Huaguo?” Stephen laughed, put his hands on the weapon box, and chatted,
”I heard that the entire Blue Star is the safest place. I don’t understand why you came to this ghostly place to perform a secret mission? Or was it sent by the United Nations Administration to maintain order?”

This sentence seems to be an inadvertent joke, but it is actually testing the other party’s true identity.

Lin Ye’s heart was naturally transparent, so his face remained unchanged, he smiled and waved his hands and said:
”I’m a businessman just like you. As for why you came to Seria, you know that the more dangerous the place, the better the business, especially in the last days!”

Hearing this answer, Stephen took a deep look at him, and then showed a meaningful smile:

”That’s right, that’s right, I was worrying too much, what did I say just now, oh, a weapon against the swarm!”

With that said, the guy took out a gray-black shotgun from the weapon box next to him, and continued to introduce:

”This is an 870MCS shotgun specially designed to deal with swarms. The extended tubular magazine has a capacity of 7 rounds, and the saddle-shaped shell collector on the left side of the receiver can provide an additional 6 ammunition reserves.

Paired with special shotguns, it can cause a high killing effect on bugs within a hundred meters of the cone-shaped area.

Of course, if you don’t think it’s fun, I have two types of special grenades here.

After throwing, a special inducer will be released to attract zombies or bugs to the grenade, and then detonate the high explosives filled in it, sending all those alien things to the sky! ”

Lin Ye didn’t pay much attention to the guns in front, but when he introduced these grenades, his eyes lit up.

I didn’t expect that the induction grenade, which was all the rage in the previous life, would take shape so quickly. I really admire the creativity of human beings.

War is indeed a catalyst for technology!

Lin Ye picked up a special grenade, shook it twice in his hand, and pretended to ask casually:

”So much special equipment, where did you get it?”

”NO, NO, NO!”

Stephen stretched out his finger and waved it in front of Lin Ye’s eyes: ”It’s our rule not to ask the source, this guest must remember to abide by it!”

Of course, there are no so-called bullshit rules at all, they are all made up by Stephen himself.

He just didn’t want to reveal the seller to the stranger in front of him, otherwise he would be cutting off his own money.

After all, he is also the exclusive agent in this area, and he can get back a lot of things by changing hands.

Moreover, there were already many armed organizations with strong competition in this area, and he did not want to create another enemy.

Lin Ye is not a rookie in this regard, he nodded his head, and then responded:
”The rules on the road, I understand!”
