Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 23 Meeting

Chapter 23 Meeting
Lin Ye called the crowd, sat in the decorated meeting room, and expressed his thoughts to them:
”Since the bug swarm has been blocked by us, there is no point in continuing to stay in this ruins. It is better to continue to develop in another place!”

Qin Lie was quite surprised by this suggestion. He folded his arms and leaned on the chair, turned his head and asked, ”Change a place?”

”My ability can make this floating island migrate to other places!” Lin Ye nodded in response.

”Then where are we going? Will it be dangerous?” Nan Xiao tilted her head and asked in confusion.

Nan Xiao was not curious about the authenticity of her abilities this time. After all, she had already seen many incredible things during the half-day she came to the floating island, and she was forced to adapt in a certain sense.

And to her, it doesn’t matter where she goes, as long as Cheng Bei is by her side.

Lin Ye sat at the table with his hands folded, and there was some hesitation in his words:
”Middle East, it’s very dangerous there, but if we don’t go now, we will be even more dangerous in the future!”

He did not exaggerate to intentionally intimidate the three men.

Because Yancheng is currently outside the inland defense line, there is no huge army and force to deter it, and the ruins of the city are full of unscrupulous alien creatures.

Moreover, three months have passed since the catastrophe, and the number of these creatures is not only increasing day by day, but their strength is also increasing.

I don’t know if it will be like today, thousands of troops will be assembled and besieged again.

In addition, for other countries that have not prepared in advance, the situation must be more complicated and more dangerous.

But if you don’t seize the time to develop the floating island, it will be difficult to survive in the cruel apocalypse.

Lin Ye didn’t express his specific concerns, but when the people on the opposite side heard the word ”Middle East”, they all sat up straight and their expressions gradually became serious.

”Since you’ve made up your mind, why come over to discuss with us?” Cheng Bei raised his head and looked at him expressionlessly.

Indeed, as Cheng Bei said, Lin Ye is the master of the floating island, and the decisions he makes cannot be controlled by others.

What’s more, there is no need to discuss this matter with them at all, and the transfer is over.

However, this is precisely the reason why he chose to hold a meeting to inform,
The three people in front of him will be his most reliable teammates in the future, not tools for rampaging in the apocalypse.

”The reason why I want to discuss with you is because I have other backup options here.

The United States of Erikan, the Federation of Sloan, the Federation of Oslia, and so on.

However, the Middle East is by far the best location to consider! ”

Lin Ye took a deep breath, leaned back on the chair slowly, and continued:
”I’m also a person who cherishes my life. Naturally, I won’t lead everyone into a fire pit like a reckless man. Since I have chosen to migrate to the Middle East, I have a certain degree of confidence.

Of course, saying so much is to tell everyone that if you have any objections, you can raise them now. I don’t want to have internal conflicts because of this.

After all, it is already very difficult to deal with those alien creatures. ”

These words silenced all three of them.

Yancheng has become like this, and other places must not be much better.

At this time, Cheng Bei, who was sitting at the farthest distance, suddenly laughed:
”Okay, I’m fine!”

Hearing this, Qin Lie and Nan Xiao who were sitting in front looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

Seeing the situation in front of him, Lin Ye breathed a sigh of relief, the stone in his heart finally fell to the ground:
”Okay, it’s getting late, everyone, go back and rest. If there is anything missing in the bedroom, you can tell me anytime!”

The crowd echoed a few times and were about to get up, when dense light spots suddenly lit up in the sky.

Countless fireballs passed through the thick clouds, dragging the red tail flames and crashing into the ground.

”What is that?” Nan Xiao stood in front of the window, leaning against the glass and looking at the gorgeous sky.

The familiar picture in front of him made Lin Ye sigh: ”All are satellites and space stations floating in space orbit!”

After the rapid expansion of the blue star, the orbital parameters of the satellites changed greatly, so they all crashed into the atmosphere.

In the days to come, human beings will lose their high-altitude advantage and can only look for breakthroughs from the ground.

Because with the current level of technology, the number of satellites simply cannot make up for it.

Even if the new orbital parameters are re-mastered, as long as the launch vehicle takes off, there will be interference from the insect swarm’s aircraft.

But these crashed satellites and space stations still left the last precious wealth for mankind.

Soon, a high-resolution photo will appear in the database of the United Nations Aviation Administration, which will be included in the annals of human civilization.

It was a planet from an overhead perspective, but it had lost the clear blue of yesterday.

Under the transparent atmosphere like a cicada’s wings, there are not black clouds stretching for thousands of miles, nor broken mountains and rivers, but large wormholes with blue-purple plasma streams flashing.

Blue Star is still the homeland of human beings, but she is no longer safe and full of vitality.

The wormhole will last for at least a week, and the remaining fragments of extraterritorial celestial bodies and Zerg fleets will continue to emerge from it.

For a long period of time after that, there will be no birds in the sky, replaced by dense insect swarm aircraft.

There are also huge Leviathan warships.

”Is this the end? I thought it was just beating zombies!”

Nan Xiao left the glass window and looked at the satellite wreckage falling into the ruins, suddenly feeling lost.

Yes, this is the end.

It’s not as simple and casual as in the movie.

Survival is still everyone’s goal in life, but it has become more cruel and terrifying.

Back in the room, Lin Ye took out the black satellite phone that had lost signal connection, and was silent for a moment.

The satellite communication had already failed when the wormhole appeared, and he lost the opportunity to contact the crisis response team because of this.

However, when discussing the disaster emergency plan with the team members before, he also mentioned the current situation and carefully explained the precautions.

Thinking about it, there shouldn’t be any big problems on the inland defense line.

But it is not necessarily the case for other countries. Without critical information, it is estimated that at this moment, foreign governments still do not understand what happened.

If those people in foreign countries saw the suddenly clear stars all over the sky, the swarm fleet of insects flying in the sky, and the edge of the broken land was actually [-] meters above the sky, how would they feel?

But they probably don’t have time to tweet or Facebook.

There is also no time for protest marches in safe zones with placards.

Because human beings have to deal with the discomfort caused by the thinning of oxygen during this period of time.

And to protect against the enhanced ultraviolet radiation damage on the surface of the blue star after the ozone layer is diluted.

Also, in order to survive, there are successive riots.
