Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 42 The Unlockable Mechanical Ghost!Su Chen activated the First-generation Mecha!

It soared into the sky, its speed terrifyingly fast!

The roaring sound was even more impressive in its momentum than the advanced fighter jets of the Dragon Kingdom!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang laughed and scolded, ”This brat!”

In fact, the First-generation Mecha could be completely silent while flying!

Especially at night, it was just like a ghost in the dark!

Killing without leaving a trace!

The massive commotion Su Chen was creating now was entirely intentional.

He was deliberately putting psychological pressure on the opposing pilots.

However, as he flew into the sky, his subsequent actions baffled everyone!

Su Chen was seen hovering in mid-air!

The armor on his shoulders opened, revealing two laser reflectors!

Su Chen fired into the void!

Two beams of laser were instantly fired out!

The speed was not only fast, but the range was also very long!

However, this was a modified simulation shot and could not cause any physical damage.

Su Chen said, ”It seems the effect after modifying the weapon system is quite good!”

He was worried that the simulation firing system might malfunction and fire real lasers, accidentally harming his comrades.

Although he had tested it many times before, he still had to self-test it once just in case!

His actions immediately caught the attention of many pilots.

”Is this the firing system of that mecha?”

”It can fire lasers?”

”The speed seems quite fast! And the range is very long, not inferior to our missiles!”

This was the first time they had seen the weapons of the First-generation Mecha.

They had originally thought the opponent did not have a mature weapon system, but now it seemed they had miscalculated!

However, fortunately, the opponent’s weapons were not so outrageous that they felt helpless!

Inside the Command Center.

Looking through the huge glass, Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong, who saw this scene, nodded calmly:

”Although our fighter jets’ weapon systems cannot launch attacks in the form of lasers!”

”But the range and destructive power of our missiles are not too far behind!”

”This battle seems to have a lot of hope!”

Director Zhao Kangbo also thought so, ”It seems time was too tight; otherwise, with Su Chen’s ability, he would definitely be able to perfect the mecha’s weapon system and create even more powerful weapons!”

After Su Chen tested the weapon system and confirmed there were no problems!

The Eastern Theater Command also reacted!

The Command Center was a scene of busy activity.

The lights of various instruments flickered incessantly, as if a beating heart was pumping vitality into this tense battle.

Numerous military experts and tactical commanders kept their eyes fixed on the data and images on the screen that were constantly changing like a tide; every subtle change tugged at their nerves.

”Commander-in-Chief, it seems... a bit ominous!”

A voice broke into Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong’s ears, and he hurried over.

”What happened?”

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong looked at the screen.

Soon, he discovered the clue.

”Radar cannot lock on?”

”Yes! Commander-in-Chief, our radar system simply cannot lock onto the opponent’s mecha!”

”The opponent’s mecha is like an invisible ghost in our radar system!”

The Eastern Theater Command guards the eastern gateway of the Dragon Kingdom and not only possesses the most powerful Air Force, but its various equipment is also the most advanced!

Their radar system has undergone countless upgrades and optimizations, and in past combat tests, it could always accurately lock onto targets!

Whether it was a high-speed fighter jet or a stealthy ship, none could escape its ”all-seeing eye.”

However, when facing Su Chen’s mecha, it seemed to have lost its former prowess.

No matter how much the technicians racked their brains to adjust parameters, from the most basic frequency settings to complex signal filtering algorithms, there was no way to make the radar stably lock onto Su Chen’s mecha.

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong exclaimed that it was impossible!

”Even your radar system cannot detect Su Chen’s mecha?”

Director Zhao Kangbo’s voice rang out.

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong was stunned for a moment: ”Even ours... what do you mean?”

Director Zhao Kangbo said, ”Previously, the detection radar at Commander Liu Chengzhi’s base also couldn’t detect the mecha’s movements!”

”And you possess the most advanced detection radar in our Dragon Kingdom; I thought you would detect at least some traces of the mecha!”

”I didn’t expect... it still failed!”

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong’s expression gradually became grave.

That is to say, this mecha possesses terrifying stealth capabilities!

Good heavens!

Just thinking about it is scary!

It’s fine during the day, as pilots can discover the opposing mecha through visual contact, so they won’t be completely blinded!

But what if it were at night?

It would truly be a ghost of the dark night, slaying fighter jets without a trace!

This exercise commander-in-chief couldn’t help but feel his hair stand on end.

At this moment, the pilots in the sky also discovered this point.

The mecha was clearly right in front of them, but there was absolutely no trace of the opponent on the radar system!

In modern warfare, losing the ability to lock on with radar is like losing one’s eyes in the dark, forced to grope blindly.

Having no other choice, the pilots had to rely on the most primitive method of visually searching for the target.

They put on special helmets, tightly connecting their vision with the fighter jets’ observation systems.

Meanwhile, Su Chen also began to act!

Its eerie speed reached its limit.

This further increased the difficulty for the fighter jets to scout the mecha!

In the vast, boundless sky and the complex and changeable ground environment, they widened their eyes.

They scanned every inch of space with full concentration.

Attempting to find traces of Su Chen’s mecha from the vast airspace and complex terrain.

The pressure in their hearts also increased invisibly!

”Is there really no other way?”

”If we can’t even discover the opponent’s traces, how can we counterattack?”

Inside the command room, the voice of a tactical expert broke the brief silence.

Making everyone feel anxious.

At this moment, Director Zhao Kangbo suddenly spoke: ”Call up the data from when Su Chen used the laser weapon earlier!”

Everyone was stunned!

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong saw that no one moved, so he immediately said: ”Listen to Director Zhao!”

The subordinates then took action!

Soon, the data was presented!

Director Zhao Kangbo immediately smiled!

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong was also delighted!

”There is a way!”

When the mecha launches an attack, whether it is the firing of energy weapons or the projection of physical ammunition, it needs to mobilize a large amount of energy from the internal energy core.

And this kind of energy mobilization and release is very likely to generate a certain energy fluctuation around the mecha, and this fluctuation might be captured by the radar system or other detection equipment.

Based on this conjecture, Director Zhao Kangbo had people call up the previous data!

Sure enough, a trace was found on the radar!

Commander-in-Chief Wei Jiantong hurriedly told the pilots this news!

At the same time, a new combat plan was formulated!

They intended to seize the fleeting moment when Su Chen’s mecha launched an attack to lock onto the target and fire air-to-air missiles.

When the mecha launches an attack, it will inevitably expose some flaws, or there will be signs like energy fluctuations, which might be the best time for them to lock onto the target.

This plan instantly gave the pilots quite a bit of confidence!

Even Wang Feng, who knew the terror of Su Chen’s mecha, thought this was a good idea!

Thus, they began to maneuver and fly in the sky!

Staring tightly at the radar system, not wanting to let go of any fluctuation!

And soon, they finally waited for the opportunity!

A flicker appeared on the radar screen!

It was a rather blurry signal, which seemed to be the trace of Su Chen’s mecha.

Everyone felt a joy in their hearts, as if they had seen a glimmer of hope in the dark.

Almost subconsciously, they began to operate, preparing to fire missiles.

Their fingers trembled slightly on the operating buttons, with nervousness and excitement intertwined.

At this moment, they seemed to see the dawn of victory and the scene of Su Chen’s mecha being hit by the missile.

However, their movements were still a beat too slow.

Just at that moment when the radar flickered, before they could complete the locking and firing operations...

A helpless voice came from the communication system:

”Sorry, comrades!”

”I... have been destroyed!”
