Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 22 The Boss Assists Su Chen! Has This World Gone Mad?Professor Ma Zhiqiang was helpless!

He cared for them all equally!

Su Chen was his student, and so were these doctoral students!

It couldn’t be said that he favored Su Chen; after all, even he, a professor, had to use old equipment when conducting experiments!

Moreover, old equipment could potentially affect the experimental results!

The impact on them was a minor matter!

But affecting Su Chen’s research could potentially affect the nation’s destiny!

At worst, he could replace their equipment later, but he absolutely could not let Su Chen use old equipment!

However, these hot-blooded students clearly didn’t understand!

In their eyes, this was favoritism!

Blatant favoritism!

”Professor, why don’t you tell us what research this junior is doing that makes the school favor him so much?”

”That’s right, Professor. I don’t believe this junior’s research is more important than my ’Research on the Application of Advanced Composite Materials in Military Equipment Structures’! The material I’m researching could provide new research directions for future armored vehicle materials!”

”And what about my ’Research on Anti-Electromagnetic Interference Technology for Military Electronic Equipment’? You said my research could open up new application scenarios for the domestic drone industry! You even said it should be discussed at a national-level conference! Is this still not as good as the junior’s?”

”And mine, Professor! My research on ’Key Technologies of Hypersonic Weapons and Their Application in the Military Field’ might be able to optimize engines for the Fifth-generation fighter in the future!”

”So Professor, what exactly is this junior’s research that makes you favor him so much?”

These doctoral students were all feeling unconvinced!

These doctoral students from an elite university all had a competitive spirit!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was very satisfied with this mindset of theirs!

But at the same time, he also felt very helpless:

”Your research is all very good! I have high expectations for all of you!”

”But what is somewhat tragic is that even though you are so outstanding, you don’t even have the qualifications to know what his research is!”

Boom!

As Professor Ma Zhiqiang’s words fell, it was as if a thunderclap had struck in the minds of these doctoral students!

They were shocked beyond measure!

Proud as they were, they heard something from Professor Ma Zhiqiang’s words that they found completely unbelievable!

They were not worthy of knowing Su Chen’s research!

They didn’t even have the qualifications!

How could this be?

They looked at Su Chen, their shock overflowing from their eyes!

Was he still just an undergraduate?

Was an undergraduate’s research already this formidable?

To the point where even they, as doctoral students, couldn’t catch up?

To spare the feelings of these students, Professor Ma Zhiqiang added:

”Of course, Su Chen’s research is somewhat special!”

”Let alone you all, if it weren’t for the special circumstances, I might not have had the qualifications to know about his research either!”

”A mother is honored by her son, and a teacher is honored by his student. It is only because Su Chen is my student that I... have the honor of witnessing his research!”

At this point, Zhao Dairou couldn’t hold it together anymore!

She stared at Su Chen with wide eyes!

Her expression was filled with disbelief.

To be able to make a figure like Professor Ma Zhiqiang, a leading authority, say such things!

What kind of research is this Su Chen doing?

She had originally thought Su Chen was just a junior with some ability in certain areas!

But now it seemed, it was far from that simple!

This junior was definitely not ordinary!

She had to find out... she made up her mind!

From childhood to now, she had never been this curious about anyone!

”Alright! You all hurry back!”

”Try not to spread word of what happened regarding Su Chen today! Otherwise, someone might come looking for you!”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang looked at the group of doctoral students and warned them!

As if suffering from some kind of blow, the doctoral students nodded blankly and then left!

On the way, they were in low spirits!

”Tell me, do you... believe what the professor said?”

”The professor has no reason to lie to us! And haven’t you heard? A major event happened before school started! I heard the military even came! And our professor was one of the witnesses!”

”I feel it must be related to that! Perhaps the protagonist of that event is that junior!”

”Perhaps we witnessed a true genius today!”

”It’s ironic; I used to think I was a genius, but I didn’t expect that in front of a real genius, we wouldn’t even be able to reach the threshold, let alone have the qualifications to know about their research!”

”Don’t worry about it; everyone has their own script. Perhaps his script is that of a protagonist...”

”Professor, I might need some new equipment and materials!”

After those doctoral students left, Su Chen also expressed his thoughts to the professor!

However, these thoughts surprised Professor Ma Zhiqiang:

”Little Su, is the current equipment not enough?”

”Wait, could it be that you have some new ideas now?”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was somewhat shocked; it had only been two months, and he already had new ideas?

Su Chen nodded: ”You could say that!”

”So I need some new equipment and materials!”

Su Chen had already made a decision in his heart!

Besides researching the relevant technologies for the Space Mecha, he also needed to perfect the weapon assembly and practical combat tests for the First-generation Mecha!

The manufacturing of the Pan-Space Mech would take half a year!

And the weapon system for the First-generation Mecha could not undergo practical combat testing because conditions didn’t allow it!

Now that he had obtained the super weapon, the Particle Laser Cannon!

Su Chen had a sudden inspiration: if he installed the Particle Laser Cannon on the First-generation Mecha, wouldn’t it be able to boost the power of the First-generation Mecha’s combat system to a level comparable to the Space Mecha!

He planned to wait until all the data was ready before starting research on the Pan-Space Mech, and for these few days, he would focus on developing the Particle Laser Cannon technology!

And the materials required for the laser cannon had very high requirements!

Su Chen had no choice but to seek help from the school!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was very shocked at this moment; he didn’t expect that a casual question would reveal that Su Chen really did have new ideas!

He immediately expressed his full support!

”Write down the equipment and materials you need and send them to me later!”

”I will report it to the school and get them for you as quickly as possible!”

”As long as the material exists in this world, I will get it for you at any cost!”

”Even if it means using the power of the state!”

Zhao Dairou’s body trembled, and she became even more shocked!

What on earth is Su Chen doing?

The school is actually supporting him this much!

Even going so far as to use the power of the state!

When the Dragon Country manufactured the Nuke, this was probably the most they could do, right!

Su Chen... what on earth is he working on?

Su Chen didn’t notice Zhao Dairou’s flickering eyes; he continued:

”Also, Professor! It’s not just materials and equipment!”

”Because the materials that need to be synthesized are special, I might also need the help of professors from the School of Materials Science!”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang agreed without even thinking: ”No problem!”

”Even if they are busy, I will make them come over to act as your assistants!”

”You can rest assured about this!”

The more Zhao Dairou heard, the more absurd it sounded!

Many of the professors in the School of Materials Science were industry big shots who had retired from the Academy of Sciences and were hired back by the university!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was actually making them act as assistants for Su Chen???

Crazy!

This world has absolutely gone mad!!!!!
