Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 4: Encountering Ghosts During Cruise?! It’s a Mech! The night sky over the Dragon Kingdom was like a magnificent painting rendered in thick ink, tranquil and majestic.

Above the clouds, an advanced J-20 Fighter Jet whistled through the sky like a steel eagle, tearing through the air.

Inside the cockpit, the pilot Wang Feng was concentrating fully on flying the fighter jet, executing a routine patrol mission.

As an experienced and highly skilled pilot, defending the motherland’s airspace was paramount in his heart.

He glanced at the ground ahead, at a place surrounded by a ring of light!

It was none other than the National Defense University of the Dragon Kingdom.

It was also his alma mater.

Actually, the daily patrol missions were quite boring!

The reason was precisely because the National Defense University was stationed here!

You have to know, this was no ordinary university!

Bearing the words ”National Defense,” it was destined to be extraordinary!

Originally, he also thought it was just a simple place for teaching and educating people!

At most, the teachers who taught them knowledge were a bit special, as they were all military personnel.

It wasn’t until later, as his abilities and status improved, that he learned more and more secrets!

And for this alma mater, he felt even more awe!

After all, no other school would possess anti-aircraft weapons like a military base!

And no other school possessed rockets or satellite launch pads!

And even less, no other school could possess nuclear strike capabilities like it!

Once it became necessary, the nuclear facilities buried beneath the National Defense University would be activated!

Delivering several Dongfeng Express packages to certain countries!

And all of these, the National Defense University had!

Rather than saying Wang Feng was patrolling to protect this land, it would be better to say that the one truly protecting this land was this school!

Therefore, all this time, Wang Feng had never felt there would be any danger!

Of course, even so, he would not let his guard down because of that.

He always maintained high vigilance, displaying the professional qualities an elite pilot should have!

”One more patrol loop, and I can go back!”

Wang Feng thought to himself, it seems today is another boring day!

Boring is good!

If he is bored, the people are safe!

Thinking of this, he slowly pushed the control stick forward.

The fighter jet’s engine roared, bursting into top speed!

Instantly passing through the clouds in front of him!

He glanced at the scanning radar; there was still no situation, so he prepared to return to base!

Just then, he looked up and ahead; instantly, a humanoid black shadow appeared before him!

For a moment, Wang Feng felt his scalp tingle!

A human figure!

In the sky!

Is this mother-fucking thing a ghost of someone ascending to the heavens?

This was definitely the most bizarre scene he had ever seen since becoming a pilot!

How else could it be explained!

No one ever said you could run into a ghost while patrolling!

However, even though his scalp was tingling, Wang Feng remained calm in the face of danger.

Displaying the qualities of an excellent pilot, unafraid of demons and monsters!

Daring to appear in the motherland’s airspace, even a ghost must stay here!

He accelerated forward; opening fire was impossible, at most he would just collide and disperse the opponent.

When watching TV as a child, ghosts didn’t have physical bodies, right!

But as the fighter jet accelerated and was about to collide, the ghost shadow dodged away at high speed!

Wang Feng turned his head and happened to come face-to-face with the ghost shadow that had dodged to the side of the fighter jet!

Wang Feng widened his eyes.

Shocked!

The look of horror bursting from his eyes was even more intense than seeing a ghost!

It’s not a ghost!!!!

It is actually...

A Mech?!

Wang Feng was incredibly shocked; the mech that only existed on TV had actually appeared alive before him!

He was sure he hadn’t seen wrong; pilots have high requirements for eyesight!

And he had almost hit it! (Wang Feng thought!)

”What is going on with this mech?”

”My radar didn’t show anything!”

The first lesson of professional conduct: when encountering a situation, contact the ground!

”Calling Command Center, this is J-20 Fighter Jet pilot Wang Feng!”

”Coordinates above National Defense University, unidentified flying object detected!”

”Repeating, coordinates above National Defense University, unidentified flying object detected!”

”Requesting instructions!”

”Requesting instructions!”

Air Force Base, Command Center.

The Command Center, which was constantly monitoring Wang Feng’s movements, immediately became tense after hearing his report!

The base person in charge, Commander Liu Chengzhi, happened to be on duty tonight; this middle-aged major general was shocked upon hearing Wang Feng’s report!

Subsequently, he reacted urgently!

”Activate all detection equipment!”

”Determine the specific location and nature of the unidentified flying object!”

Then he gave instructions to Wang Feng: ”Before determining the nature of the opponent, do not attack!”

As soon as this order was given, he heard the staff’s report:

”Report, Chief, our ground conventional monitoring radar did not detect any suspicious flying objects!”

”Report, Chief, we turned on the phased array radar and switched the beam direction towards the National Defense University several times, but did not detect any suspicious flying objects!”

”Report, Chief...”

His subordinates’ words reached Commander Liu Chengzhi’s ears, making the general’s expression turn grave!

Having exhausted all means, they still could not monitor the unidentified flying object!

”Wang Feng, are you sure you saw that unidentified flying object clearly?”

Wang Feng’s voice sounded from the command console: ”Chief, it is right beside me, flying side-by-side with me...”

”Flying together!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the Command Center exploded into chaos!

If it was a flying object sent by the enemy, it was undoubtedly a provocation!

More importantly!

The maximum flight speed of the J-20 Fighter Jet exceeds Mach 2!

What kind of flying object can fly so fast?

Could it also be a fighter jet?

Of course, now is not the time to think about this!

All monitoring means failed; clearly, the opponent possesses super-stealth capabilities!

Facing such an unidentified flying object, figuring out whether it is friend or foe is crucial!

Meanwhile.

Just as Commander Liu Chengzhi wanted to know the appearance of the unidentified flying object, Wang Feng reported again:

”Report to Command Center!”

”This unidentified flying object is a humanoid mech!”

”Repeating, this unidentified flying object is a humanoid mech!!!!”

A mech!

It’s actually a mech!

A mech that can fly at Mach 2!

If when Wang Feng said it the first time, they might have suspected they misheard!

But the opponent repeated it, and it was still a mech!

Now they couldn’t help but believe it!

Good heavens!

Above their heads, there is a mech flying!!!

Everyone in the Command Center turned green!

Some people’s mouths were open so wide they could fit a quail egg!

Commander Liu Chengzhi was no exception, but he reacted quickly, soon regaining his composure and making a response:

”Contact the Research Institute and see if it is a mech they developed!”

At the same time, he reminded Wang Feng.

Keep a distance from the opponent!

As long as the opponent has not attacked first, do not attack them!

If it is a mech developed by the Research Institute, it would be a huge loss if it were destroyed!

Learning that it might be a mech developed by the Research Institute.

Everyone in the Command Center felt a glimmer of expectation!

The Dragon Kingdom Armament Research Institute received the news immediately.

”What? You are asking us if we have developed a mech?”

”How could we possibly research that thing? Why would you ask such a question? Don’t tell me you found an unknown mech in our country! Hahaha... Huh????”

”What???? You really found a mech???”

”Report, Chief, we asked the Dragon Kingdom Armament Research General Institute; they have no mech research projects! And they have not distributed such research projects to subordinate research institutes!”

”This mech... is not a result of our official project!”

Hearing these words!

The atmosphere in the Command Center instantly dropped to freezing point.

Not developed by us?

Then it is a mech from another country?

”I heard that Eagle Sauce previously proposed a mech concept drawing!”

”It couldn’t be them...”

A staff member’s words made everyone’s expressions even more grave!

If it really was a mech manufactured by Eagle Sauce...

They didn’t dare to think any further!

It seemed as if the future world order was about to change today.

It felt just like when Eagle Sauce detonated its first atomic bomb!

Even Commander Liu Chengzhi’s expression was terrifyingly serious.

He picked up the microphone and said into it with an incredibly heavy voice:

”Comrade Wang Feng, the Command Center is now issuing an order to you!”

”I hope you will bravely and firmly intercept the unknown mech!”

”If the opponent refuses to cooperate!”

”For your own safety, you may prioritize launching a fire attack on the opponent!”

”Once you find you are not a match, you may eject immediately!”
