Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 9: Skynet Unleashes Its Power, Encircling the Mechs with a Combined Land, Sea, and Air Strategy! On the roof of the Laboratory.

The tranquil atmosphere was shattered by a powerful shock.

Professor Ma Zhiqiang rubbed his eyes, confirming that he hadn’t seen wrong!

A mecha!

A mecha had appeared, alive and real, before his eyes.

Perfect lines, a futuristic exterior, and that black-tech-like transforming armor function!

All of this was telling Professor Ma Zhiqiang something.

What Su Chen had built was no mere mecha model; he had built a genuine mecha!

A real mecha!

Back then, he had just impulsively assigned his students a homework project to build a mecha model!

It just so happened that Su Chen had many ideas and creativity, so as his teacher, he had supported him!

Unexpectedly, this kid had actually built a real mecha!

This mecha was no simple feat; the ability to transform from a briefcase into wearable armor—this technology alone could keep them busy researching for at least a decade, or even longer!

At this moment, he recalled the sound that had emitted from the briefcase earlier!

That mechanically synthesized voice had actually communicated with Su Chen!

Good grief!

Wasn’t that thing Artificial Intelligence?

He also remembered what that Artificial Intelligence had said, something about being able to create a force field with a ten-meter radius!

Was this something a mecha could do?

What kind of monster had Su Chen actually built?!

He had only been away for two months; in such a short time, Su Chen had built a mecha monster!

No!

Rather than calling it a mecha monster, it was better to call it a mecha with incredibly superior performance!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was increasingly alarmed the more he thought about it!

At this moment, he didn’t know what to say.

His gaze remained fixed on Su Chen.

He stopped speaking, but Su Chen had plenty to say!

”Professor Ma Zhiqiang, I will work to pay you back for that two hundred thousand, as well as the cost of those consumable materials!”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was stunned for a moment, then curled his lip in disdain and scolded:

”Get lost! Is that even an issue?”

Su Chen shrugged helplessly:

”Wasn’t it quite serious just a moment ago?”

”Why isn’t it an issue now?”

”I still feel quite guilty!”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang knew this kid was deliberately showing off!

He was just acting tough now!

If he had said earlier that what he was building wasn’t a model, but such a futuristic mecha, let alone two hundred thousand!

Even if it were two billion!

He would absolutely support him with everything he had!

As long as results could be produced, research funding wouldn’t be an issue!

”Alright, you brat!”

”Hurry up and tell the truth, did you really build this thing yourself?”

Su Chen guessed that Professor Ma Zhiqiang wouldn’t believe him, so he casually handed him the notebook in his hand!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang curiously took the notebook, while simultaneously being even more curious about Su Chen’s mecha armor, which could perform all sorts of movements with ease!

What kind of miraculous alloy was this!

Its ductility and toughness were absolutely one-of-a-kind in this world!

He also had a background in engineering and had dabbled in materials science!

He could guarantee that this type of alloy material absolutely did not exist in the world!

”Professor, aren’t you curious about whether I built it?”

Su Chen’s words reminded Professor Ma Zhiqiang!

He reacted!

He had accidentally been captivated by the mecha in front of him again!

”Why are you giving me this notebook?”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang looked at the notebook, his face full of confusion!

However, Su Chen didn’t explain, only signaling him to open it.

As the first page of the notebook was opened!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was instantly stunned!

Then he slowly flipped through the pages behind it!

The speed became faster and faster, yet the shock in his eyes grew increasingly intense!

His arms were even shaking involuntarily!

It was as if the notebook in his hand was some precious treasure?

His legs couldn’t help but tremble, and he felt like kneeling on the ground to worship it!

This notebook recorded the experimental logs of the mecha.

Densely packed data and theories!

If an ordinary person saw it, they would definitely scoff, thinking Su Chen had made it all up!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang had felt exactly that way at first!

Because he actually couldn’t understand it!

This renowned professor from the National Defense University, a titan of engineering in the Dragon Kingdom, an expert whose knowledge base was as vast as the ocean, actually couldn’t understand the things on these pages!

Just as Professor Ma Zhiqiang was guessing that Su Chen might be trying to fool him, he slowly realized something was wrong!

As the notebook was flipped through, it began to intersperse some basic theories!

These theories were the foundation of all advanced theories, and by following these basic theories downward, he slowly began to understand some of the obscure theories!

It was at this moment that this book, which he had viewed as an illegible tome, began to reveal its true form!

The mind-blowing advanced theories lifted a corner of their veil for this titan of engineering; although only a jade finger was revealed, it was enough to make him ecstatic!

”Incredible!”

”What an incredible... theory!”

”This absolutely isn’t something... humans could think of!”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang’s voice began to tremble.

Through this notebook, he felt as if he had caught a glimpse of the gateway to a future world.

Even though he still couldn’t fully understand it!

After a long time, he slowly closed the notebook.

He looked at Su Chen, and his eyes were no longer just filled with shock!

He began to suspect whether Su Chen was an Extraterrestrial disguised as an Earthling, sent to bring technology to their Dragon Kingdom!

Just as he was about to open his mouth to ask something, a series of humming sounds suddenly rang out.

Before Professor Ma Zhiqiang could determine what it was, Su Chen’s voice rang out!

”Professor Ma Zhiqiang, we are surrounded!”

Once these words were spoken, Professor Ma Zhiqiang was instantly stunned!

Immediately after, he saw nearly a hundred armed helicopters, fully loaded with ammunition, flying toward them in the sky!

It wasn’t just in the sky!

On the ground, hundreds of armed jeeps, carrying nearly a thousand soldiers, had surrounded the Laboratory.

Behind the jeep units were armored units and air defense units!

In the distant sky, dozens of fighter jets were flying toward them!

They were completely surrounded!

Seeing this situation, Professor Ma Zhiqiang subconsciously shielded Su Chen behind him:

”It’s okay, no need to panic!”

”Teacher will protect you!”

However, the next second!

Su Chen tapped his shoulder and then pointed at himself:

”Teacher, do I need your protection?”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang was suddenly stunned, then gave a sheepish laugh.

Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly thought:

”Eh? That’s not right!”

”Why should we panic!”

”You kid invented such a powerful mecha for the country, the country should be rewarding you!”

Su Chen scratched his head; beneath the mecha, his expression was somewhat awkward.

It should be fine, right!

Yesterday, he had tested the mecha and had a bit of a run-in with the authorities!

He hadn’t even fought back!

It should be fine... right!

Though, to be fair, even though he hadn’t deliberately tried to hide, the efficiency of the Dragon Kingdom was truly high to have found him so quickly!

As expected of Sky Net!

Everyone knows that for the Dragon Kingdom’s Sky Net, if it wants to find someone, they absolutely have nowhere to hide!

Because the potential threat of the mysterious mecha was too great, Commander Liu Chengzhi had taken the initiative to apply to his superiors to invoke the Sky Net system to help track it down!

Sure enough, they had found the location of the mecha!

And the moment it was discovered, the sea, land, and Air Forces coordinated and rushed over!

What could be seen now were the army and Air Force units!

In places that couldn’t be seen, several 10,000-ton destroyers in the East Sea Defense Zone had already locked onto the airspace here!

Even without knowing whether it was friend or foe, the artillery unit’s Dongfeng Express had already locked onto a certain country!

As long as the situation here went out of control and the mecha caused a large-scale malicious incident, the Dongfeng Express would unreasonably deliver one or several packages directly to that country!

The Dragon Kingdom’s logic was that if they didn’t know who the other party was, they would treat them all as that country!

”Professor Ma Zhiqiang, is this the mecha you researched?”

Director Zhao Kangbo had come over with Commander Liu Chengzhi!

Initially, they had thought that an American mecha had taken Professor Ma Zhiqiang hostage!

But then they discovered that after Professor Ma Zhiqiang spotted them, he had actually taken the initiative to shield the mecha behind him!

Then he released it!

But this detail could not escape their eyes!

This mecha definitely had a deep connection with Professor Ma Zhiqiang!

Could it be that he had developed it?

Therefore, after confirming that the mecha was safe and not rampaging, the two of them descended directly from the aircraft to the roof.

Following behind them was Comrade Wang Feng, whose fighting spirit had collapsed!

Commander Liu Chengzhi’s heart skipped a beat after hearing Director Zhao Kangbo’s words.

He didn’t care who had built this mecha, as long as it wasn’t built by the Americans, that was a huge relief!

Wang Feng thought the same; his fighting spirit had been extinguished initially because he thought the mecha was built by the Americans!

So, in the face of the disparity, he felt deeply powerless!

But at this moment, if this mecha wasn’t American, but built by Professor Ma Zhiqiang!

Then it had nothing to do with the Americans!

That meant it was their own mecha!

That meant it was a friendly force!

Not only did the sense of powerlessness disappear, but he was also filled with motivation, even wanting to fly a fighter jet to take a tour around the Americans’ home!

That’s right, the debuff disappeared, and the mecha instead provided a courage buff!

At this moment, these people all fixed their gazes on Professor Ma Zhiqiang!

Waiting for his answer!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang looked at Su Chen, shook his head, and smiled:

”No!”

No!!!!!!

Everyone was stunned, as if their expectations had fallen through!

But the next second, Professor Ma Zhiqiang patted Su Chen on the shoulder and said:

”This is my student’s work!”

As he spoke, Su Chen moved!

Accompanied by a series of clanking sounds!

The armor on his head retracted!

Revealing Su Chen’s true face!

Everyone’s expression was one of shock!

They were stunned right on the spot!

So young?

The creator of this mecha, so young???

Su Chen’s gaze swept over these people and landed on Wang Feng behind them.

He revealed a smile!

He slowly raised his hand and gave him a... thumbs up!

Wang Feng’s eyes widened sharply!

He shouted:

”It’s him!!!!!!!”
