Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 12 Extremely Low Cost! The Concept of a Future Mech Legion!Perhaps only Professor Ma Zhiqiang present did not understand exactly what it meant to have a Fifth-generation fighter fly four hundred thousand kilometers for one thousand yuan!

A full tank of fuel for a Fifth-generation fighter is about ten tons!

The price of one ton of aerospace gasoline fluctuates around 5,000 to 6,000 yuan.

Ten tons would be around sixty thousand yuan!

And ten tons of aerospace gasoline can keep a J-20 Fighter Jet flying for four thousand kilometers!

For four hundred thousand kilometers, it would require five to six million yuan worth of aerospace gasoline!

Yet the energy produced is only equivalent to a high-energy solid-state power source that can be manufactured for just 1,000 yuan!

What was even more mind-boggling was!

When Su Chen explained this high-energy solid-state power source to them, he mentioned that it could absorb solar energy to replenish itself!

The energy conversion efficiency is extremely high!

It charges several times faster than a four-wheeled electric vehicle battery!

Yet the energy it contains is terrifyingly immense!

Furthermore, an electric vehicle battery costs at least tens of thousands, or even over one hundred thousand yuan per unit!

And this only costs one thousand!

The aerospace experts, the commander, and even the pilot Wang Feng were all staring blankly at Su Chen at this moment!

Their eyes contained an indescribable shock.

After a long while, Director Zhao Kangbo came back to his senses and asked a question he really wanted to know right now:

”Student Su Chen, counting the material loss in the warehouse! How much do you think it costs to manufacture this mech?”

This question was very important.

Although the manufacturing cost of the mech technologies Su Chen mentioned was not high!

But who could say, with so many technologies packed into this mech!

Could they guarantee that the application cost of all these technologies would also be low?

This was undoubtedly the question Commander Liu Chengzhi cared about the most!

It concerned whether they would send a mech combat squad to attack the Eagle Nation in the future!

Or a Mech Legion!

Of course, given the nature of the Dragon Nation, as long as the Eagle Nation didn’t provoke them excessively, they would absolutely guarantee not to use the mechs first...

Su Chen thought for a moment!

The materials in the warehouse were nothing particularly special, and adding those he had purchased additionally!

It shouldn’t exceed three hundred thousand!

But, don’t forget!

There was still a portion of materials that simply didn’t exist in this world!

He couldn’t buy them even if he wanted to!

That was the unknown factor!

Just as he was struggling with how to answer this question!

The system’s voice suddenly rang out.

”Detected that the host has successfully completed the first black technology manufacturing project!”

”The host’s ability has passed the test; all technologies are now being transmitted to the host!”

Su Chen was a bit surprised; he hadn’t expected the system to have held something back!

And the part held back was those materials that did not exist in this world!

It turned out that those materials could all be synthesized using some materials from this world!

Not only the synthesis technology for these materials!

But even the manufacturing technology for the equipment provided by the system was transmitted into his brain as well!

Now he could synthesize all materials and manufacture all equipment himself!

He had completely mastered the mech manufacturing process!

”The system did not hold anything back!”

”Synthesizing key materials and manufacturing necessary equipment requires more time!”

”At the same time, it places very high demands on the host’s hands-on ability and resource allocation skills!”

”At the time, the host did not possess these, so the system lowered the manufacturing difficulty!”

Su Chen’s mouth twitched!

So... he had been looked down upon!?

It’s good that he was!!

Otherwise, he really wouldn’t have been able to build it in two months!

”No need to be too specific, just give a rough range!” Seeing Su Chen hesitant to reply, Director Zhao Kangbo said again.

His words pulled Su Chen back to reality!

He reacted immediately and recalculated.

”Around five hundred thousand!”

Su Chen said.

With all materials added together!

The cost of one mech is around five hundred thousand!

Once these words were spoken, Commander Liu Chengzhi was trembling with excitement!

”So cheap???”

”You aren’t joking, right!”

”Compared to our J-20 Fighter Jet, the gap is simply immense!”

Five hundred thousand to build a mech!

Then what is there to fear!

They must arrange a mech combat division!

No!

A Mech Legion!

At this moment, he excitedly grabbed Su Chen’s hand directly!

”Comrade Su Chen!”

”Please, you must sell such powerful mech technology to our Air Force!”

”Our Air Force needs it so much!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was almost crying with excitement!

Although Fifth-generation fighters are very powerful, all major powers basically have their own Fifth-generation fighters!

Therefore, the Air Forces are evenly matched!

But at this moment, with the appearance of the mech, Commander Liu Chengzhi grasped a new hope for the development of the Air Force!

The hope to crush the Air Forces of other countries!

However, at this moment, Professor Ma Zhiqiang suddenly interjected:

”Why is it your Air Force buying it?”

”Doesn’t the Army need it more?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi stared at him blankly: ”Although that may be true...”

”This mech can fly!”

”If it can fly, if it doesn’t join our Air Force, where would it go?”

Professor Ma Zhiqiang’s body shuddered violently, and he looked at Su Chen in shock:

”This mech can also fly???”

Director Zhao Kangbo curled his lips and joked: ”And you call Su Chen your student; you didn’t even know this mech could fly?”

Wang Feng also rubbed his head and chimed in: ”It’s more than just flying!”

”It reached a speed of nearly Mach 3!”

”Our Fifth-generation fighters were left behind!”

Wang Feng had a complicated look on his face, as if recalling the fear of being dominated by the mech Su Chen built last night!

Professor Ma Zhiqiang realized it now!

He thought of the flight-like experimental data written in the experiment log.

At the time, he couldn’t understand most of it, so he didn’t pay too much attention to that data!

He wondered what it was!

Thinking back now, that seemed to be real flight data!

He held his forehead; clearly, this mech had brought him too much shock!

”You guys continue, let me calm down!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi looked at Su Chen at this moment and continued the previous topic.

Their Air Force wanted to acquire this mech technology!

Su Chen agreed very casually:

”Sure!”

”Since the country needs it, then let the country use it!”

Not only that, Su Chen also said:

”If it is still needed, I can provide the production line architecture for this mech to the country!”

Once these words were spoken, everyone present was instantly petrified!

Su Chen could also provide the production line architecture?

You have to know, with a production line, mass production is not far off!

It could be said that it could be mass-produced directly!

Mass-produced mechs...

This was simply like a dream!

”Is that true? Comrade Su Chen!” Commander Liu Chengzhi gripped Su Chen’s hand once again!

His eyes flashed with surprise!

This usually very serious commander was now like a child seeing a favorite toy!

He couldn’t even care about his own image!

Su Chen nodded, then added with some hesitation:

”However, this production line is quite expensive!”

After all, it involves the manufacturing of the equipment provided by the system!

Those pieces of equipment are the key to turning ordinary materials into powerful mechs step by step!

Commander Liu Chengzhi seemed to have been mentally prepared for a long time!

He knew that this production line certainly wouldn’t be cheap!

It might even be the total annual GDP of several provinces in the Dragon Nation!

It could reach trillions!

But even if it were trillions, this production line must be built!

”Comrade Su Chen, just tell me directly!”

”No matter how much it is, I will fight for it with the higher-ups to build the production line!”

Su Chen nodded and said immediately: ”It might need six or seven hundred million, or seven or eight hundred million!”

”But the country doesn’t need to worry, it definitely won’t exceed one billion!”

Hearing this, everyone opened their mouths wide!

Their jaws were about to drop!

Especially Commander Liu Chengzhi: ”Six or seven hundred million? Seven or eight hundred million?”

”And you guarantee it won’t exceed one billion?”

”Even if it exceeded one billion, so what!”

”Comrade Su Chen, you are really too conservative!”

A mere few hundred million, compared to the trillions in his mind, the gap is simply like heaven and earth!

You have to know, the cost of one J-20 Fighter Jet can reach seven or eight hundred million!

And this can build a set of mech production lines!

Commander Liu Chengzhi even doubted if he had misheard!

Su Chen was very surprised!

Is one billion not a lot?

One mech only costs five hundred thousand, but the production line costs one billion!

And at this moment, Su Chen also stated a condition!

This condition concerned future research!

Commander Liu Chengzhi looked at Su Chen with a serious expression: ”Comrade Su Chen, please speak!”

”No matter what the condition is, as long as it’s not illegal, I will agree to it!”

”If I can’t do it, I will also apply to the state to provide you with help!”

Su Chen: ”It shouldn’t be too difficult!”

”I want to see more materials related to technology!”

Technological materials???

A few people looked at each other!

Seeming a bit confused.

Seeing their confusion, Su Chen realized he hadn’t explained it clearly, and then added:

”Especially the technological materials of the Eagle Nation!”

”I want to know, to what level has the scientific research of the Eagle Nation developed now?”

”Preferably something like the previous mech blueprints!” He looked at Professor Ma Zhiqiang.

Professor Ma Zhiqiang understood what Su Chen meant:

”You want to see those conceptual blueprints proposed by the Eagle Nation?”
