Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 16: This is like creating an ancestor!A certain top-secret military base in the Dragon Kingdom.

A solemn and dignified military conference hall.

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting of the North China Theater Command sat in the main seat, and the two rows beside him were filled with high-ranking officers with several golden stars on their shoulders!

These were the top military leaders of the North China Theater Command!

Beside them, Commander Liu Chengzhi, as a Major General, seemed slightly overshadowed.

After some discussion just now.

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting summarized: ”Since no one has any objections, I hereby announce the official appointment of Comrade Su Chen as the Honorary Technical Consultant for our Air Force! And he shall be granted the status of an Honorary Consultant!”

With Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting finalizing this matter, it didn’t matter if anyone still opposed it; it was meaningless!

A twenty-something-year-old Honorary Consultant with an annual salary of five million.

In the eyes of these high-ranking military officials, this was a position of significant weight!

It was mainly because Su Chen was so young, and having achieved such success at a young age, it was no exaggeration to say that his future was promising.

Applause rang out; this was for Su Chen, who was not present. Although he wasn’t there, it didn’t stop everyone from offering him their encouragement!

This meeting was specially convened for him to discuss whether to grant him this Air Force status!

And this meeting, from start to finish, lasted less than five minutes, and everyone voted in favor!

After all, he had built a mecha!

Although they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, a mecha was a mecha, a symbol of technological prowess!

To hesitate for even a second would be a slight to technological power!

Just as Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting was about to conclude the meeting.

Commander Liu Chengzhi suddenly stood up again.

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting smiled calmly: ”What is it, Old Liu? Do you want to summarize this meeting as well?” ”Sure! I’ll leave it to you!”

All the high-ranking officers laughed in unison.

However, Commander Liu Chengzhi clearly didn’t have that in mind!

”Commander-in-Chief, you misunderstood!”

”I had a sudden thought, and since all the high-ranking officers are here!”

”I want to share a new idea of mine!”

”Oh?” Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting was a bit surprised.

Usually, departments draft documents, then summarize and hold a meeting to finalize them!

Impromptu matters rarely happened!

And everyone was unprepared!

It was hard to reach a unified result!

But even so, Commander Liu Chengzhi still wanted to express his thoughts!

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting nodded: ”The meeting has only been going on for a short while anyway!” ”Go ahead, it’ll save us the trouble of calling everyone back together later!”

The other high-ranking officers also nodded!

Commander Liu Chengzhi seemed to have mentally prepared himself significantly.

But he ultimately decided to speak out!

He looked at Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting and the other high-ranking officers:

”Commander-in-Chief, I feel that given Su Chen’s abilities, just being an Air Force consultant is too shabby!”

”How about we also grant him the rank of Senior Colonel?”

As soon as these words were spoken.

The entire conference room instantly fell silent!

Some high-ranking officers who were whispering and discussing the future applications of the mecha also stopped their discussions!

All eyes turned to the subject of Su Chen.

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting was also startled.

”This impromptu idea of yours truly caught us off guard!”

He didn’t make a decision but looked at the high-ranking officers under his command!

”What do you all think?”

Almost instantly, voices erupted in the conference room.

”Senior Colonel! Did I hear that right? You, Commander Liu Chengzhi, are actually proposing to grant a twenty-something-year-old kid the rank of Senior Colonel! How many years did you struggle to become a Major General?”

”Although we value ability over seniority, we cannot simply grant such a high rank and status just because he has shown some talent and ability in the field of mecha. Military rank represents honor and responsibility; this is not child’s play!”

”Besides, I heard that Comrade Su Chen is just a university student. His only contact with our military was during military training; he isn’t even a soldier! How can we grant him a rank?”

”You don’t expect to have him enlist today and grant him a rank tomorrow, right? Goodness! Going from a private to a Senior Colonel in one day—even a rocket doesn’t shoot up that fast!”

The discussions among the high-ranking officers grew louder!

And they were basically all questioning it!

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting did not object, but he didn’t agree either.

He looked at Commander Liu Chengzhi and said calmly:

”Old Liu, you should know that you are only a Major General yourself. Maybe one day Su Chen will create another formidable piece of black technology, and you’ll have to call him ’Chief’ when you see him!”

”However, I know you aren’t the type to speak without reason!”

”Tell me, why do you want to grant Su Chen the rank of Senior Colonel?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi smiled bitterly: ”Commander-in-Chief, didn’t I already say?”

”Su Chen’s contributions are too great. Although an Honorary Consultant position with an annual salary of five million is a very good status, it really doesn’t measure up to Su Chen’s achievements!”

”I suddenly realized that what we are giving seems a bit too little!”

”If it were the Eagle Sauce, I feel—no, I am certain—they would be able to offer treatment far exceeding this by several, or even tens or hundreds of times!”

Hearing this, a trace of surprise appeared in everyone’s eyes!

They hadn’t seen that mecha with their own eyes; they had only heard about it!

So although they felt shocked, it was far from being stunned!

Now, seeing Commander Liu Chengzhi’s high regard for the mecha, they couldn’t help but wonder: isn’t this mecha just an iron shell?

Could it have some incredibly heaven-defying functions that caused Commander Liu Chengzhi to react this way?

Although it was an impromptu idea, Commander Liu Chengzhi had already prepared!

And this preparation was for Su Chen’s application for Honorary Consultant!

It was just that everyone unexpectedly agreed!

So there was no need to display it!

However, it was useful now!

”I know you all don’t believe it!”

”So, I have prepared a short video for everyone to watch!”

As he spoke, he took out a USB drive and plugged it into the computer!

Before long, a figure appeared on the conference room screen!

It was a mecha!

It nodded at the camera, and the next second, its body slowly hovered, and blue flames appeared under its feet!

And two or three seconds later! With a ”whoosh” sound.

The mecha vanished from where it was and shot straight into the clouds!

Almost instantly, it disappeared from sight!

The camera tried to capture its figure quickly, but only saw it dive into the clouds. About a second later, the camera couldn’t even track it anymore!

It was too fast!

Everyone’s expressions changed! Their eyes suddenly became grave!

Some high-ranking officers even stood up directly from their seats! Staring at the screen! Their eyes wide open!

”Damn it, it actually flew???”

”The speed is also fucking too fast!”

”I heard before that it could fly, and fly fast, but I didn’t expect it to be this fast!”

”But this instantaneous explosive power alone would consume half a ton of gasoline, yet where does its energy come from? We didn’t see it carrying a gasoline tank, did we? What kind of high technology is this?”

”Some said this mecha’s comprehensive performance crushes our Fifth-generation fighter, and I didn’t believe it at the time. Fine, I believe it now! It’s guaranteed!”

The high-ranking officers had heard that this mecha could fly!

But they hadn’t heard that the mecha’s flight speed was so violent, almost vanishing before one’s eyes in a blink!

Moreover, the energy source was a mystery!

At this moment, Commander Liu Chengzhi distributed the printed materials to these high-ranking officers!

Looking at the documents in their hands! The high-ranking officers were even more shocked!

Their eyes were filled with disbelief!

”Not only can it fly, but its limit speed can actually exceed Mach 3?!”

”It can actually cloak itself and evade all our detection radars?!”

”The high-energy solid-state energy it’s equipped with—one energy cell can let a J-20 Fighter Jet fly for 400,000 kilometers! My god! Is this real or fake?”

”It has built-in advanced Artificial Intelligence, and before even making a move, it already discovered our army’s secret artillery unit???”

”And it can fucking crack Eagle Sauce’s ’Starlink’?”

Even Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting was shocked!

This was the first time he knew the true power of this mecha!

His hands holding the materials were trembling uncontrollably:

”Is this what they call a mecha?”

”This is like creating an ancestor!”

”May the ancestor bless our Dragon Kingdom forever!”
