Aleksey’s plan for Canter Town was to fully develop livestock and farming; as long as there were enough people, he could build more sub-camps and then farm and breed more extensively.

For the excess produce that the territory couldn’t consume, it could be sold to Kajiatan City, and what couldn’t be sold at the market could be traded to the pawnshops—although the price was lower, it still covered costs.

He had completely given up on the competition for City-level territories; his own territory was falling behind step by step, catching up was incredibly difficult, so it was better to develop solidly and according to plan.

After the Transmission Array was completed, the two took the Transmission Array from Canter Town to Kajiatan City; since it was just the two of them, without a full load, the cost was merely 5 silver coins each.

Aleksey paid for the entire teleportation cost, after all, they were on their way to help him find his unlucky brother.

When the two vanished in the Transmission Array, the players in Canter Town reacted, “Why did our Lord step onto it as well?”

Once Mu Ying and her companion arrived in Kajiatan City, she led Aleksey onto the Transmission Array to Wulan Camp, spending no more than two minutes in the city.

By the time anyone noticed them, they had already stepped onto the Transmission Array and disappeared from there.

Upon reaching Wulan Camp, Mu Ying led him straight out of the camp, attracting the attention of some players.

But as they hurried along, a mere passing glance could only leave onlookers with doubts; they couldn’t confirm their identities.

Mu Ying led him to a small grove outside Wulan Camp; once she was certain there was no one around, she threw out her Magic Flying Carpet.

The Flying Carpet hovered at knee height.

Mu Ying climbed on, looked at the still-dumbfounded Aleksey, and urged, “Come on up!”

Aleksey snapped out of it, hurriedly agreed, and clambered onto the carpet.

Mu Ying controlled the Flying Carpet to rise up and set its direction of flight.

Seeing Aleksey crouching cautiously and with mixed fear and excitement, edging towards the Flying Carpet’s border to peek at the ground below, she laughed and told him, “There’s an invisible protective shield around the edge of the carpet, even if you bump into the sides, you won’t fall off.”

Aleksey half-doubted as he stretched out his hand and indeed encountered an obstacle, “This is too magical! Is this also from the Trial World? Does it have usage restrictions like a flying broom?”

“Yes,” Mu Ying said, “it requires a special bloodline.”

Having signed a contract, she wasn’t worried about Aleksey revealing her information anymore, and thus she could divulge a bit of information appropriately.

Aleksey was now considered an ally, and showing her own strength could also make the cooperative relationship between them more solid.

The most crucial point was that there was no conflict or competition between them; the chance of him risking contract backlash to divulge information was very low. She had also prepared a similar contract for Draco.

“I’m tired of saying ‘envious’,” Aleksey sighed, “No wonder you made a contract. Such a marvelous item, even if nobody else can use it, can easily evoke jealousy!”

If only he could also encounter a major figure and be gifted a Trialist Identity Card, but he knew all too well how unlikely that was.

Since he couldn’t own it, he was resolved to enjoy the ride to the fullest this time.

Aleksey began to thoroughly enjoy the thrill of flying through the air.

After feasting his eyes on enough scenery, he started to study the Flying Carpet.

At one point he noticed that his admittedly unclean feet left not a mark on the Flying Carpet, Mu Ying informed him that the carpet could clean itself.

Another time he noticed that the high-altitude flight brought only a comfortable breeze, Mu Ying told him that the shield had a wind-proof function.

Perhaps sensing that it was about to rain outside and feeling a bit worried, Mu Ying told him that the Flying Carpet could shield them from the rain.

Aleksey’s understanding of this Flying Carpet was refreshed time and again, completely forgetting that he was supposed to find his brother.

When they flew near the Birch Forest, Mu Ying saw a man battling a group of Tiger Clan Beastmen in the dim rainfall of the night. He stopped the Flying Carpet to observe, leaving Aleksey puzzled about why they had stopped.

He did not have Mu Ying’s Dark Vision, and with the rain pouring outside, he couldn’t see anyone fighting on the ground.

“Your brother is quite the fighter,” Mu Ying said, pointing in that direction while moving closer.

Mu Ying had checked the strength of this group of Tiger Clan Beastmen before; the highest among them was only at level 7. Draco was now a level 8 Barbarian, and his Talent was clearly excellent.

Although the individual strength of the Tiger Clan Beastmen could not match Draco’s, there were many of them. Mu Ying roughly counted about twenty young adults involved in the battle, with some cubs and elderly Beastmen not present.

The battle must not have been going for long as there were no casualties yet.

Barbarians rely solely on Physical Attacks in combat, and their formidable Physical Fitness is their hallmark.

The Tiger Clan Beastmen were the same.

The large axe in Draco’s hand, though notched and dulled, was swung with such ferocity that it seemed to stir the wind, while the Tiger Clan Beastmen used Innate Weapons like claws and teeth.

For Barbarians who rely entirely on close combat and Physical Attacks, even if the enemy is weaker, it is still a troublesome problem because it is difficult to fight against multiple opponents.

However, Draco evidently had vast Experience in battle. He was targeting the strongest of them, a level 7 Tiger Clan Beastman who was the clan’s leader.

Defeating him would certainly deal a heavy blow to the group of Tiger Clan Beastmen, leaving them demoralized, with the remaining Beastmen too late to flee.

In fact, that Tiger Clan Beastman was feeling a threat to his life under Draco’s targeted attacks.

Even beasts of low intelligence know to flee from a formidable foe, let alone the slightly more intelligent Beastmen.

Humans are not their food; they attacked this man simply because he seemed to be approaching the Birch Forest, their hunting ground, which they resolutely did not allow others to enter.

They were fierce in defending their territory but would not senselessly rush into a fight that could cost their lives!

Now, as they had already forced the man out a considerable distance, the beastman leader wasn’t sure if they could kill him, but he was certain of his own impending death.

Defeating him would mean considerable losses among the clan’s young and strong.

Nothing is more important than life itself.

After taking an axe blow to the shoulder, the Beastman leader decisively ordered his tribe to retreat.

Draco actually breathed a sigh of relief as well. He didn’t eat these creatures with human lower bodies, they were extremely poor, and fighting them was just a waste of energy. Moreover, to defeat them, he would inevitably get hurt.

Fighting them would not earn any silver coins, nor Experience; it was not worth it.

If it were any other time, he might have sought them out to challenge himself, but not today—he needed to hurry back to the cave in case he missed the person looking for him.

Which direction was the cave again?

Draco, who had just been engaged in fierce combat, scratched his head in confusion and scraped off a handful of dirty water, wiping it on his clothes. Normally, he only bathed when it rained, just to wash up a little.

Are they in the woods? The Beastmen ran in that direction; their den must be over there. Better choose a different path!
