I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 403 - 403 393 Adventurer Square403: Chapter 393 Adventurer Square 403: Chapter 393 Adventurer Square “30 copper coins!

That’s too expensive!

What kind of test is this, charging so high!”

“If you think it’s expensive, don’t be so quick to take out your Identity Card!”

“Half price, man, round it up, that’s basically making a profit of 15 copper coins!

Plus, the chance to test can be transferred.

Even if I don’t test, someone else will, right?

Selling it for 10 copper coins should make some money, shouldn’t it?”

“I’m planning to use Contribution Points.

15 Contribution Points at half price is only 7 and a half, which is still somewhat acceptable!”

...

Those who arrived early, though surprised by the high testing fee of 30 copper coins, took advantage of the half-price offer for the first one thousand people without much thought; they grabbed their Identity Cards and queued up to register.

The thousand spots were quickly taken.

It wasn’t long before the number of people queued up at the test house exceeded 200.

But the growth rate plummeted after that because the first thousand spots were gone, and you still had to pay half of the testing fee as a deposit to register.

If you registered but didn’t show up on time, you’d lose your deposit.

After the first thousand, the registration deposit was 15 copper coins, and for those at the tail end of the thousand, their estimated testing times were three days later.

Some people even got times that were really inconvenient, like in the middle of the night or early morning.

The only consolation was a 20% discount on the testing fee during these times, saving a few copper coins.

Thus, those who came later chose to wait and see, after all, when the Damage Test House was previously free, everyone just played for fun without much practical use.

Now, suddenly it’s charging so high; naturally, everyone worried about getting a bad deal.

Mu Ying watched the non-stop debate in the square, not worried at all that the test house would lose its appeal due to the testing fee.

Anyone who had personally experienced the test house would definitely not feel that it was a waste of money.

Compared with the comprehensive and accurate testing results, this amount of money was truly not expensive.

Especially for those players who have been working hard to improve their professional abilities and haven’t stopped their adventures.

A place that can accurately test their combat power and clarify the level of their different strengths is of enormous help to them.

About ten minutes later, the first batch of testers finished their tests, and some fresh names appeared on the Talent List.

The five testers who came out were still looking at the latest test results on their Identity Cards.

“How was it?

What’s it like inside?”

“Liu Luoluo, aren’t you a Priest?

What’s there for you to test?”

...

Indeed, among these first five who seized the opportunity to test, there was a plant specially sought out by Mu Ying: Liu Luoluo.

As the first Priest in the territory, Liu Luoluo was still stuck at level 3 after more than a year.

Her initial Perception Attribute was only 12 points, allowing her to learn only up to second-ring Spells, and leveling up required not only filling up Experience Value but also meeting Spell learning requirements.

She had previously thought her level cap would be between 3 to 4.

Although now the road all the way to level 8 has been paved, and what changes each level brings have been almost fully summarized on the forums, everyone knows that you gain a Natural Attribute Point at level 4.

Taking this point into account, Liu Luoluo’s level cap is actually 6.

But because her Perception is not high, her prayer effect is also affected, and a poor Prayer effect makes learning Spells very difficult, and even the acquisition of Professional Experience becomes harder.

This kind of learning, where results are hard to come by, quickly wears away a person’s enthusiasm and effort.

Further, Mu Ying provided her with a comfortable livelihood, so Liu Luoluo gradually neglected her Priest cultivation.

After all, as long as she knew the Healing Technique, she could perform her current job of drawing blood and being a “veterinarian.”

Liu Luoluo had agreed to be a plant at Mu Ying’s request, with the understanding that she would be reimbursed for the testing fee.

She didn’t care much about the test results.

She even felt that Mu Ying had chosen the wrong person to be the plant.

What kind of good results could she possibly achieve?

But now that the test results were out, her mindset had changed.

Her test scores were indeed poor, to the point of being terrible, but this wasn’t due to her lacking Perception Attribute or a lack of Talent.

Low scores in Defense, Attack, or even Speed Items could be attributed to her Profession.

She was not good at those.

But when it came to Support Items and only the Healing score seemed decent, with everything else basically non-existent, something was wrong.

Her highest single-item score was Healing, with a score of 9, which was considered a B+ rating at her level.

According to the public interpretation board, a level 3 Priest skilled in Support Healing should have a standard score of 10-15.

This judgment was based on a standard of 12 points in the Perception Attribute.

The fact she didn’t even reach the standard level was like a slap in her face, shattering the excuses for her past lack of effort.

Her Comprehensive Combat Power Score was only a 54, while the full score for level 3 Comprehensive Combat Power is 225, rating her as a G.

That’s equivalent to scoring only in the twenties on a hundred-point test.

Overall, she might explain away the low scores in Attack, Defense, or even Speed Items, but what about the Support Items?

Support Items were even worse, rated as an H-, equivalent to scoring in the teens out of a hundred.

In these items, excluding flight which she couldn’t do, she actually had corresponding Spells in her Magic List for the other projects.

She shouldn’t have scored so low.

But she hadn’t learned them, so aside from Healing and Perception sub-items, she got a glaring zero.

In her pre-apocalypse life, she was someone who had attended a prestigious university, never scoring a zero in anything.

Actually, through these test items, upon closer inspection, even though the Priest Profession doesn’t have many offensive means, it still has Attack Spells like the ‘Healing Technique’, meaning there’s room for improvement in Magic Attack.

In the Defense item, a level 3 Priest has protective Spells like the Devoted Shield and Holy Sanctuary Technique, offering even greater potential for improvement.

And even the Speed item could be improved with certain Amplification Magic.

The test results were a deep source of shame for Liu Luoluo.

While her Talent may fall short compared to the chosen ones, she shouldn’t be so neglectful; she hadn’t mastered even the most basic aspects, so what upper limit could she speak of?

It wasn’t the limitation of her Perception Talent that stalled her progress, it was her own complacency, her own abandonment.

At the same time, Liu Luoluo truly appreciated the value of the test house.

It allowed her to clearly feel her current status, accurately grasp the direction of her future efforts, and most crucially, it provided her with new motivation.

As long as she didn’t want to score zero, she had to learn, no matter how difficult it was!

And with tests every so often, she could plainly see her improvements, keeping her greatly motivated.

Suddenly, she understood why Mu Ying had chosen her for this role.

Being among the first to enter the test house, without this opportunity, she might have taken a long time before deciding to spend money to test and see.
