I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 422 - 422 408 Meeting (Thanks to Dong Yiguan Ye Alliance Leader for the extra update~510)422: Chapter 408: Meeting (Thanks to Dong Yiguan Ye Alliance Leader for the extra update~5/10) 422: Chapter 408: Meeting (Thanks to Dong Yiguan Ye Alliance Leader for the extra update~5/10) These were the people she was planning to appoint as administrators, granting them the corresponding column management authority.

Before the official launch of the internal network, she needed to explain everything to them in advance, so they could prepare.

The meeting notification was quite urgent, and Mu Ying had thought she would need to wait for a while for everyone to arrive.

To her surprise, as soon as she finished her call on the Dingling Flower phone and teleported over, all the people notified earlier had already arrived, and those notified later followed closely behind her.

“Lord!

Our territory has been upgraded to a city!”

“Today’s global announcement was so exhilarating, haha!”

“The first medium-sized city must also be ours!”

“Lord, what new features come with a city-level territory?

Did you call us here to talk about this?”

...

Mu Ying: “...”

Alright, she had underestimated their excitement.

“Don’t rush, sit down and we’ll talk about it slowly.”

Seeing them all gazing at her eagerly, Mu Ying no longer kept them in suspense: “City-level territories indeed come with some new functional facilities.

One is the ability to establish a Cross-Regional Transfer Array.

They can be built throughout Deep Blue Star, but they are very expensive.”

“How expensive?”

“1000 Gold Coins each.”

All present inhaled sharply.

As a group with secure jobs and plenty of benefits within the territory, their income was quite good, but none had savings of over five Gold Coins.

“Mu Ying, can we afford to build it?” Liu Luoluo was a bit worried.

“Should we pool funds together and repay it after upgrading to a medium-sized city and receiving the rewards?

That’s gold, silver, copper mines and coinage rights — once we get them, we can mint our own coins!”

“The territory’s funds should only be enough to build one Transmission Array, and certainly that’s not enough.

We should still consider making money through foreign trade,” Professor Du also pondered, what could be a quick way to earn money?

She was the one most aware of the territory’s current income; at most, they had a little over a thousand Gold Coins.

“Er, the financial situation of the territory is not as bad as you guys imagine.” Mu Ying was quite pleased that they were so concerned about the territory’s finances.

“Don’t worry, we don’t have to fret over the fee for the Cross-Regional Transfer Array, I have money!

I’ll take care of it when I go out to travel later.

I called you here because of another feature, which will definitely surprise you.”

After speaking, she directly issued them the login credentials.

[You have received the login qualification for the Qingshan City Territory Internal Network.

Would you like to log in?]

[Qingshan City has the full management and operational authority for this internal network.

All ultimate interpretations rights belong to Qingshan City.]

Everyone looked at the sudden light-green dialog box that appeared in front of them, “This is...”

“An internal network?”

Those with quick hands logged in immediately and saw four small icons inside.

Every icon was familiar to everyone present: “Is this a computer or a smartphone?”

“It’s probably similar to a smartphone that can only be used within the territory or maybe a Player Manual.

You can check out its features first, add some friends, create an employee group.

Later on, I won’t have to contact each of you individually using the Dingling Flower anymore.”

As she spoke, Mu Ying set each of them as administrators with corresponding management authority.

Basically, they were each responsible for the announcements of their own sub-camps’ affairs.

Only for Professor Du did Mu Ying grant the management authority of the advertising column as well, and she explained the business related to this service.

“My God, this is so cool, it supports online payments, transfers, chatting and making friends, and can be reduced to a small mark on your hand.

This isn’t a smartphone, this is the legendary brain light!” Guan Hai couldn’t help but say.

“Mu Ying, can you only send text messages, and not emoji?” Liu Luoluo asked after trying out all the functions.

“No, sending messages also consumes energy, so be mindful of that.

From now on, everyone’s salary will include an additional communication fee of 1 silver coin per week.

You can contact for work online, but the internal network can only be used within the Territory Shield.

If I’m out, you still have to contact me using the Dingling Flower,” Mu Ying explained.

“Now edit the notification information for the columns you are managing, later I will remove the Territory Notice Board.”

This task was no challenge for people who were used to having a smartphone each.

It didn’t take them long to complete.

“That’s all for now.

Do you guys have any suggestions on the use of this internal network?”

“No more!”

“Alright, then the meeting is dismissed.

Go ahead with your tasks.

I’ll probably send login invitations to everyone tonight when the players return to the territory.

By then, help guide everyone on the territory forum.”

“All right!

Lord, keep it up, and upgrade to a medium-sized territory soon.

If we run out of money, we’ll all think of a solution together!”

“Don’t worry, I have plenty of money!”

Mu Ying shook her head and was the first to teleport away.

Afterwards, she edited a new notice and posted it on the Territory Notice Board.

[Notice: At 8 PM tonight, the Qingshan City Territory Internal Network will officially go online.

Afterward, the corresponding functions of the Territory Identity Card and the Territory Notice Board will be transferred to the internal network.

Please check promptly upon receiving the login invitation.]

After making this announcement, Mu Ying didn’t idle but immediately started on the territory’s major expansion.

The main territory area was directly expanded to 100 hectares, the Tree Houses were extended to 5000 units, and the three sub-camps, the Private Plantation Camp, the Public Farm Camp, and the Breeding Camp, were also directly expanded to 5 hectares each.

The area of the Main Territory might not compare to a small town before the apocalypse, but with the significant reduction in population after the apocalypse, this area was more than enough to accommodate ten thousand people.

More expansion could be done as new people came in.

Moreover, the residents’ homes were Tree Houses, which didn’t occupy ground space, thus improving space utilization.

The newly expanded hectares of the Private Plantation Sub-camp, Mu Ying allocated one hectare to her own plantation, and the remainder was turned into rentable farmland.

The edge of the territory directly extended to the entrance of the original Qingshan Forest Park.

The northern gate of the territory was now right there; standing at the gate one could see the private plantation sub-camps covered by the isolation barrier and further away, the rolling wheat waves of the Public Farm Camp.

The territory had drastically changed in appearance.

Today, the players working on the farms outside were the happiest because, in the morning when they left, they had to pass through the unprotected jungle, but when returning to the territory after work, the territory gate opened right at the edge of the forest.

Of course, there were also some players who went on adventures and hunted in the forest that came back and suddenly couldn’t find the newly opened gates in the other directions.

But all of these changes were nothing compared to the “Territory Internal Network.”

The players were originally guessing what this could be, but then the external shop owners and Half-Breeds directly enlightened them.

As soon as this notice came out, the Evolution Centers control over this news also ceased.

As a result, even before 8 PM came, the territory was filled with players waiting for the internal network to go live.
