I Live on the Land in Global Games

After that, Mu Ying focused on packing her luggage.

In fact, this task was quite straightforward, as she always kept her most commonly used items in her space ring, which had ample space and was convenient for retrieving items.

This time, she just needed to replenish some food supplies like grains, vegetables, and fruits in the space ring.

Then, she would shrink the Magic Hut to a portable size and take it with her. Along with the Space Suitcase, she could live comfortably wherever she went, without worrying about being exposed to the elements on long journeys.

That afternoon, she gathered all her little ones together, “I don’t know when I’ll be able to come back this time, so you all need to take good care of the house. I’ve left your living expenses in the living room of the Tree House. Just help yourselves when needed, okay?”

Gungun quickly shrank into a cute, portable size, “I want to go too! ╭(╯^╰)╮!”

Da Ming, with its wings tucked in, looked at Mu Ying with pitiful eyes, also wanting to join her.

Little Stone’s avatar bit onto the hem of Mu Ying’s clothes firmly.

The Gem Fairies looked at each other, all wanting to go as well, but fairies couldn’t leave their birth plants for an extended period.

Mu Ying patted each of them, “I can’t take you with me this time, and besides, there are things that need to be done at home. Gungun, remember to help me transport Little Stone’s avatars to and from Guland Underground City. Da Ming, you must continue training the Little Griffins. Tao Hua, Bo He, Iron Bamboo, Asparagus, you four must help me look after the plantation.”

The little ones calmed down knowing that they still had tasks to do.

Gungun and Da Ming patted their chests, assuring that they had everything under control.

The Gem Fairies, holding hands, flew up and kissed Mu Ying’s forehead, “Mom, don’t worry, we’ll wait for you to come back!”

Only Little Stone’s avatar clung silently to Mu Ying, pretending to be an ordinary trinket.

Mu Ying pretended not to notice its little antics. Having multiple avatars meant one could stay with her, which would be convenient for keeping track of the Underground City’s situation.

“I’m off; call me on the Dingling Flower phone if there’s anything!”

Without lingering any longer, Mu Ying threw out the Magic Flying Carpet and stepped onto it.

The Flying Carpet rose into the air, gradually moving away until the territory below became smaller in sight.

Mu Ying’s figure completely vanished from the eyes of Gungun and the others.

In truth, Mu Ying hadn’t gone far. Despite her stylish departure, she had not yet decided on a route!

Once she was outside the range of the Territory Shield, the status of the Territory Internal Network was halted, no new information would update, and she could no longer use it to contact others.

However, she could still read previous messages.

Right now, she was reviewing the summary sent by Professor Du, which contained information about No Master Camps and Other territories’ camps in the Xia Country region.

Her main goal for this trip was to establish Transmission Arrays to secure more advantages for her territory. Since there was competition, time was also critical. Mu Ying didn’t plan to waste time traveling. Instead of advancing through her adventures while journeying, she decided to take the Magic Flying Carpet directly to her destinations for efficiency.

Her rough plan was to first select about ten No Master Camps within the Xia Country region, establish Transmission Arrays with them to set up the network within the region, attract mid and high-level talents from the area, and then use the Disguise Potion to probe the situation in Other territories’ camps seeking potential collaborations.

Professor Du’s resource guide was very well organized.

Regarding the information on No Master Camps in the Xia Country Region, it encompassed all the names of the No Master Camps, their rough locations, approximate population sizes, the current living conditions of the players, and introduced the types of monsters and Foreign Races in the surrounding areas.

It also selected the top ten No Master Camps most suitable for establishing Transmission Arrays, all meeting the two basic requirements of appropriate geographical location and relatively safe surroundings, with no major fatal threats.

After a brief review, Mu Ying decided to follow this list because it was indeed very well thought out; she could come to a similar conclusion, but definitely not in such detailed fashion.

Indeed, some tasks still need to be assigned to the right people.

As for the information on territories with owners, it was as detailed as possible, with everything that could be inquired on the forum being included, and any data needing further verification was marked, providing her with sufficient reference without misleading her decisions.

First, Mu Ying mapped out a route that connected the ten selected No Master Camps within the Xia Country Region based on their geographical locations.

The route roughly entailed heading south to the Yingtan Camp in the southern part of the Xia Country Region, then traveling west to Hechi Camp and Lincang Camp, then north to Naqu Camp, followed by heading east to Changyi Camp and Lianyun Camp, then up north again to Tongliao Camp, westward to Linyu Camp and Tianshui Camp, and finally to the Su Mu Camp which bordered Bear Country in the north of Xia Country.

One round trip like this would cover most of the Xia Country Region.

Once the Transmission Arrays are built, these ten camps, along with Qingshan City, Lingtian Town, and the temporarily closed Luoxia Town, would be spaced approximately equidistant from each other, catering to all players in the entire Xia Country Region.

Any player wanting to travel to Qingshan City could choose the nearest camp with a Transmission Array, significantly reducing the distance compared to before, no longer requiring a trek across half of Xia Country like Lin Shang had to do initially.

As all Transmission Arrays’ final destination, Qingshan City will be the central hub for transfers in the future, even for those whose final destination is not Qingshan City itself.

As a result, Qingshan City, acting as the transportation nexus, won’t lack for foot traffic.

With more ample funding in the future, the transmission network can be further refined.

After determining the basic route, Mu Ying headed southwest.

Since the location information in the resource guide was based on pre-apocalyptic geography and the world has since fused, there might be some deviations, but the overall directions should not be too far off.

Thus, she roughly set the Magic Flying Carpet to head in the intended direction, with the specifics to be determined upon nearing those areas.

She had not visited these places before and would need to ask directions from other camps along the way.

However, she was still far from the first destination and, after setting the Magic Flying Carpet to auto-pilot, she could now turn her attention to other matters.

She summoned the Player Manual, turned to the Magic List, and began to study the first spell in her predetermined learning sequence, the Thunderstorm Skill.

This spell could be considered an upgraded version of the Summoning Lightning Skill, which summons lightning to strike a single target at a time but can be cast repeatedly.

In contrast, the Thunderstorm Skill directly conjures a thunderstorm, enveloping all enemies underneath the thunderclouds in a continuous barrage of lightning strikes.

Not only is it more powerful, but it is also an area attack.

This effect made Mu Ying, a Druid who severely lacked Strong Attack Magic, drool in anticipation, and she was very eager to learn.
