I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 294 - 294 290 Third World (End of August sprint target extra 23)294: Chapter 290: Third World (End of August sprint target extra 2/3) 294: Chapter 290: Third World (End of August sprint target extra 2/3) Her life settled back into a routine during the following period.

In the mornings and evenings, she studied new spells, in the mornings she took care of the elf fruit trees planted at the start of spring and the seasonal herbal medicine, in the afternoons she practiced her bow and arrow and swordsmanship skills, and brewed some magic potions needed by the territory.

In her spare time, she could also knead the increasingly chubby Gungun, feed the rounder Little Stone, or pick the harvest from the plantation with the Gem Fairies.

During her leisure time, she could also experiment with gourmet food, make some snacks to enrich her food storage, or go to the pub with Liu Luoluo and Zheng Jing for a drink and listen to the latest gossip about the territory, accompany Lily to watch the new melodramatic show at the Mushroom Man Theater, or visit her latest collection of little treasures.

Sometimes she would take on the Wolf Form and play around the territory with the Sky Wolf cubs, turn into a turtle and sunbathe on the Lotus Platform in the middle of Moon Lake, or become an owl at night and fly around the forest, or after a Blood Crow attack, she would ride on the Flying Carpet to Griffin Cliff to snatch some eggs or set a fire in the Fishman Village.

Life was peaceful, fulfilling, and wonderful.

Because she had plenty of time, she used her free trial time on the same day every day.

Moon Port was located on the coastline at the edge of the Huamei Zui Kingdom, and traveling there from the Thorny Kingdom required crossing two countries.

To gather more information along the way, she took a Magic Carriage.

So being on the road was also comfortable.

This lifestyle continued for about half a month, and she learned two more Four-Circle Magic spells: the Giant Insect Technique and Illusion.

The combat spells Stone Skin Technique and Embrace Skill were moved to the back of her learning sequence because she now had Thorny Battle Armor, along with Natural Shield and Tree Skin Skill, which had improved her defensive abilities.

Therefore, the urgency to learn Stone Skin Technique could be postponed, and the effect of the Embrace Skill could be almost achieved with her magic, so it was also not urgent.

The Giant Insect Technique and Illusion were magic spells she planned in preparation for her next step in conquering Fishman Village.

The Giant Insect Technique could transform up to ten centipedes, five bees, three spiders, or one scorpion within the spell’s range into their giant versions, creating giant centipedes, giant bees, giant spiders, or giant scorpions to assist in combat.

Like the Essence summoned by Summoning Animals, these belonged to the supportive group attack spells, suitable for dealing with enemies like the Fishman who rely on outnumbering rather than individual strength.

Illusion belonged to the class of Magic-like spells.

It could make a natural terrain within 150 cubic feet appear, sound, and smell like another type of natural terrain.

An open plain or a road could seem like a swamp, or hills, a rift valley, or other difficult terrain, or even impassable terrain.

A pond might appear like a meadow, a cliff like a gentle slope, or make a rocky gully seem like a wide, flat road.

It could be used to block and confuse the Fishman.

Recently, she was also learning the Confusion Technique, a spell that could mentally affect the enemies.

Combined with this spell, the success rate of the Illusion would be higher.

Today, as usual, she was catching the last few minutes of today’s trial time, coming out of Emerald World just before the free trial time ended, and then entered Square World.

When she returned to reality, time would stand still in both Emerald World and Square World.

However, when she was undergoing trials in one Trial World, the other would continue to operate at its own time speed.

For example, when she was in Emerald World, time also elapsed in Square World.

Approximately 1 hour of real-life trial time would mean three days passed in Emerald World, while one day and one night went by in Square World.

But because Mu Ying’s spirit was in Emerald World, her character in Square World would remain in a sleeping state.

Now that her trial focus was on Emerald World, Square World only required her to collect resources towards the end of each day’s trial time.

When she woke up from the single bed, the old Village Chief had already gathered the resources collected by the villagers today and put them together in a backpack.

After Mu Ying converted them into Source Power, she ended the trial.

When she emerged, the Player Manual’s trial interface, dormant for so long, displayed a new prompt.

[Your Source Power accumulation limit has reached the standard, and the Third Trial World can be unlocked.

Do you wish to unlock it?]

The Source Power accumulation limit?

Mu Ying glanced at her own trial interface.

[Trialist: Mu Ying]

[Affiliation: Multiverse Deep Blue Star]

[Source Power: 42270/50023]

[Trial World](Free trial time: 1 hour/day)

[The First: Square World]

[The Second: Emerald World]

[The Third: Can be unlocked]

By now, through the day and night labor of those 50 villagers in the Square World, and the rewards she had gathered from collecting fragments, she had accumulated 50023 points of Source Power, of which over seven thousand had been expended by her.

It seemed that the amount of Source Power really was one of the conditions for unlocking a Trial World; moreover, it was the cumulative total that mattered, not the remaining power.

Accumulating 50000 points of Source Power was enough to unlock the Third Trial World.

She remembered that when she initially unlocked the Second Trial World, this sort of prompt had not appeared; at that time, she had only accumulated just over five hundred points of Source Power.

It’s very likely because she hadn’t reached the requisite Source Power to unlock the Second Trial World but had already completed exploring the Trial Worlds, thus prematurely unlocking the Second Trial World.

This proved that her previous conversation with Li Luoxia about the speculation of the conditions to unlock more Trial Worlds was not wrong.

Although she was now able to unlock the Third Trial World, she didn’t want to do it just yet.

This was because the exploration task of the Second Trial World was not yet complete; she had only obtained three fragments, still far from the total needed.

If she chose to unlock the Third Trial World now, she would no longer have the targeted world and Trialist character selection from before, which would significantly reduce her profits.

The most crucial point she noticed was that under the line for the Third Trial World, there was no indication of a Fourth Trial World.

Previously, when the Third Trial World was not yet unlocked, there was still a line reading “[The Third: Requirements not met for unlocking],” but now there was no “[The Fourth: Requirements not met for unlocking]”.

The implication was clear without even thinking about it.

Either there were only three Trial Worlds in total, or the conditions for unlocking subsequent Trial Worlds had undergone a significant change.

It was unfortunate that Grandpa Shom was still in seclusion, trying to save his Oak Tree Fairy; otherwise, she could have asked him about the specifics.

In any case, one thing was certain: the first three Trial Worlds, which could be unlocked either when the Source Power accumulation met the requirement or after the exploration of the previous world was complete, were precious and shouldn’t be wasted.

So, despite her curiosity about what the next Trial World might be, she did not draw a new Trial World right now.

She wanted to do as she had done with the Square World: try to push the exploration percentage as high as possible, reap the targeted rewards, and then make the draw, rather than leaving it to chance.
