I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 252 - 252 249 Forum Turmoil (Average 400 Extra 24)252: Chapter 249 Forum Turmoil (Average 400 Extra 2/4) 252: Chapter 249 Forum Turmoil (Average 400 Extra 2/4) Mu Ying herself was a Trialist, and she knew just how much the abilities acquired during the trials could enhance the player, almost equivalent to having a second Profession template.

With the abilities obtained from the trials added on, Mu Ying wasn’t too shabby at combat either.

Li Luoxia was the same, now that she had the identity of a Trialist, she could probably make up for her shortcomings very quickly.

After checking the global rankings, Mu Ying teleported to the territories bordering three different dungeons.

First was the underground Mushroom Man Dungeon.

At the Replica gate, players continuously emerged.

“Now that the merger has happened, will the Mushroom Men still be here?

Can we still watch movies?”

“I think so, I feel like the Mushroom Men aren’t worried at all, they only had us leave just for safety.”

...

“Lord!” Seeing Mu Ying appear, they all greeted her.

Mu Ying nodded and stepped into the Mushroom Man Dungeon, finding the Mushroom Man Elders.

“Don’t worry, the world merger is quite gentle, it’s just like finally getting to open a gift box sent to Deep Blue Star.

Who would send a gift that explodes someone’s home?

After today, I’ll finally get to go out and see what Qingshan Town looks like, though I’ll have to suppress my strength a bit.”

The Mushroom Man Elder reassured her.

“There won’t be large-scale land movements, will there?” asked Mu Ying, concerned.

The Mushroom Man Elder nodded then shook his head, “There will be, but it’ll be very gentle.

Let me think, it might even be less than a level 3 earthquake you speak of!”

Mu Ying felt relieved now.

After that, she visited the Half-Breed Replica and the Mermaid Replica, and the messages she received were similar to what the Mushroom Man Elder had told her.

Each one was quite happy, especially the Half-Breeds and mermaids who couldn’t leave their replicas before.

They had been eager to go out and see the world!

By now, the public chat was exploding, and with only a few hours left until the world merger, Mu Ying was a bit anxious, unable to settle down to do anything.

She simply opened the forum to check the news from other places.

“Here it comes again, that heartless electronic tone is back!”

“What does ‘great world merger’ mean?

Can’t they give an explanation?

Negative review warning!”

“All I know is, another huge change is coming.

It wasn’t easy to just get used to the apocalypse, when will it end?”

“Feels safer to return to base, I don’t want to experience a zombie’s kiss again!”

“Help, what do I do if there’s no base around me!”

“The global rankings are up!

That guy Mu Ying is still number one!”

“Haha, that person in the Neon Area is so unlucky, just 1% away from becoming a Trialist.

Although I don’t know what Trialists are, the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial sure sounds impressive!”

“A simple interpretation: Planets can grow, planet resources must be earned by Trialists in the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial.

To those eyeing the Trialist spots, don’t even think about killing for loot, the spot can’t be transferred.

You can only wait for the next batch of spots to become available, after all, if there’s a first batch, there will be a second.”

“Finally understood!

The rankings are going to be super competitive in the future!”

“So basically, Trialists are Deep Blue Star’s vanguard, right?

So it makes sense to pick the strongest for the job.”

Mu Ying says that trial strength has nothing to do with real-life strength, real-world abilities can’t be used in the Trial World, selecting the ones with the highest level is probably because of their adaptability.

Actually, the changes the Doomsday Game has made to the world are as substantial as a completely new world.

It’s a fascinating similarity to the entry of trialists into a completely new trial world.

The top performers in the apocalypse are unlikely to fare poorly in the trial world either.

“There are a total of 5 trialists this time, but the total number of trialists is 8, Mu Ying is one, who are the other two?”

“I just knew Mu Ying, a Druid, is freakishly strong, definitely because she’s a trialist.”

Mu Ying shook her head at this remark, her Druid abilities weren’t solely advanced due to enhancements from the trial world.

Her High Perception Attribute and Natural Bracelet were the major boosts to her Druid profession, and she had never used her witch abilities in combat in the real world; the Green Witch abilities did not greatly enhance her Druid profession.

She continued reading.

“I think I saw a post before, someone claiming to be a trialist and guessing Mu Ying was one too; said they wanted to go to Qingshan Town to find her.”

“I saw that too, the guide post ‘I Became a Trialist’.”

“Seen it, seen it.

Does this mean that in addition to the trialist slots conjured by the world, some external NPCs also distribute slots?

Can I still catch up with the strategy now?”

“Why do some people only see the benefits of being a trialist?

Resources aren’t just handed out for free, it’s certainly not something easy.”

“Why do I feel like the once-awesome warrior profession is almost at the bottom now?”

“The owner of ‘I Became a Trialist’ here—finally, you know what I said was true, right?

I’m still sea-crossing at the moment and should be close to reaching the East Continent.”

“Whoa, awesome.

What’s your profession that you can even cross the sea?”

“Just an ordinary warrior~”

“The top ten Hernan?”

“No, no, my warrior profession sucks, nameless on the list~”

This trialist isn’t highly ranked?

Mu Ying reflected, has he forsaken his original profession entirely to train in skills gained from the trial world?

If the ranking list is used for allocating trialist slots, then he indeed doesn’t need to care about it, because he’s already a trialist.

This choice might not be bad; she recalled when she drew her second trial world, there was a hint saying because she performed well in the first world, the second world would be highly compatible with her.

Indeed, the Green Witch and Druid complemented each other.

Additionally, the Green Witch Bloodline had helped purify her Elf Bloodline.

The power of the Green Witch stemmed from her bloodline, while the Druid’s strength came from nature.

Although some abilities of the Green Witch and Druid were similar, they were fundamentally different, Mu Ying was certain of it.

It was just that her current strength wasn’t enough to distinguish these two forces accurately and clearly; she couldn’t articulate exactly how they differed.

Since there are trial worlds and roles with high compatibility, correspondingly, there are those with low compatibility.

Low compatibility potentially adds nothing to one’s real-world profession, giving a strong sense of disjunction.

Thus, going down a different path is also a possibility.

Another possibility is that the abilities gained in the trial world are stronger and more suitable than those in the real world, so one might cast aside their real-world profession and focus on training the abilities gained in the trial world.

Mu Ying suddenly felt a bit of anticipation for this person’s arrival; different choices could lead to different outcomes.

In terms of Ten Thousand Worlds Trial, Mu Ying has always been exploring by herself and is quite in need of exchanging experiences, especially since she’s only been exposed to the second trial world so far.
