I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 286 - 286 282 Blood Crow Attack286: Chapter 282: Blood Crow Attack 286: Chapter 282: Blood Crow Attack Mu Ying truly had no intention of dealing with the trouble at Fishman Village and Blood Crow Nest at that moment.

She hadn’t finished learning the combat spells listed in the Magic List, so she never felt secure.

During breaks in exploring the Underground City, she had mastered the Stone Piercing Technique and also learned the Fire Wall Skill.

Due to the underground environment constraints, she moved Skywalking, originally second in line, down a spot.

The Fire Wall Skill was precisely what she had learned in preparation to deal with the Fishmen, who were particularly afraid of fire attacks.

While grinding nut milk for Little Stone, she decided that she would diligently stay in the territory to study spells for the next while.

She intended to learn several combat-useful spells fairly well before tackling these two threats.

But plans couldn’t keep up with changes.

That day, while she was practicing Skywalking in the Plantation, she saw from afar a dark mass of clouds rushing toward the territory.

It was a swarm of Blood Crows!

Like locusts passing through, they devoured every living thing with flesh and blood; a foul wind swept over.

Seeing this dark cloud, players moved as quickly as possible toward the territory.

Blood Crows only targeted creatures with blood and flesh; personal Plantations were relatively safe.

And judging by the flight direction of the Blood Crow swarm, they weren’t headed toward the Main Territory but to the Chaotic Stone Forest instead.

“It’s over, the Blood Crow Nest really has moved south.

Our territory wouldn’t end up like Spirit Dragon Gorge Camp, would it?” a player who had narrowly escaped the massacre at Spirit Dragon Gorge trembled as he watched the swarm of Blood Crows.

“What are you afraid of?

Our Territory Shield is level 8, and if that’s not enough, it can be upgraded.

Look at our Lord, the money she earns is either given back to the Local People or saved for developing the territory.

The money she uses herself is actually quite good; it’s exactly for dealing with these kinds of crises.

Besides, if Qingshan Town can’t hold them off, then no other camp in this world will,” another player reassured.

“Exactly, we are a town-level territory, not a No Master Camp.

Thinking about that, we’d better hurry to the Breeding Camp to stake out a spot.

Considering the situation, the Blood Crow swarm should head over there.

Weren’t the people from Spirit Dragon Gorge feeling proud of having such a group of Blood Crows delivering materials to their doorstep every day?”

...

To the players, Blood Crows were not only a nightmare but also an opportunity to make a fortune.

After rushing back to the territory, the first thing many players did was teleport to the Breeding Camp.

Mu Ying also teleported over.

With Skywalking still active, she appeared mid-air, walked a bit further upwards, and directly arrived near the protective shield of the Breeding Camp from the sky.

Although she had just been practicing spells and her Mana Value wasn’t high, with the Territory Shield present, close combat was worth a try.

Thorny Battle Armor enveloped her, and a large black scythe appeared in her hand.

Blood Crows, being mindless Undead Creatures, were exactly the type of thing the Balance Scythe was meant to counter.

The vast number of livestock in the Breeding Camp indeed attracted the Blood Crows.

When Mu Ying arrived, they were converging like maggots on a corpse with several Griffins that usually drooled over the pasture grounds, creating a tight siege.

The moment Mu Ying appeared, her scythe swept through, creating a seam in the Blood Crow swarm, and bodies fell like rain.

The individual Blood Crows were truly very weak, and with the counter-effect of the Balance Scythe against Undead Creatures, they hardly had the ability to fight back.

But there were too many Blood Crows.

The gap created by the Balance Scythe was filled again in less than a second.

Mu Ying had no intention of dealing with all these Blood Crows by herself; anyone who had seen the scale of a Blood Crow Nest would not entertain such a thought.

She could only say that killing some was better than none at all.

For now, the Blood Crows seemed unable to breach the level 8 Territory Shield.

As long as she was within the territory, she was temporarily safe.

So, she continued slashing calmly, one stroke after another.

Unable to help, Luoluo, who was hiding under the eaves, watched the red figure in the sky and exclaimed, “Oh my, who is that?

They can actually fly!

So cool!”

Zheng Jing was also watching, noticing the patch of dark green hair, “It’s the Lord!”

“Oh my, when did she get such cool armor?

It’s so beautiful!

And that domineering large scythe!

Who needs men anyway!” Luoluo felt both envious and admiring.

Other players who came to hunt the Blood Crows felt the same way.

Those with ranged abilities could simply find a spot and shoot into the sky, the density of Blood Crows always ensured no shot was wasted, no matter how inaccurate.

Those without ranged abilities fought at the edge of the camp’s protective shield, sometimes more efficiently than the ranged attackers.

But only at the highest point of the camp’s protective shield, a place unreachable by players’ ranged attacks, was monopolized by a petite figure in brilliant red combat armor, wielding a giant scythe—each swing brought down a cluster of Blood Crows.

This scene left a deep impression in many hearts.

Her invincible demeanor marked the beginning of the path of strength for many.

After a bout of fighting, the Blood Crows finally retreated, leaving feathers all over the ground, and the livestock in the Breeding Camp were so startled by the falling bodies that Zheng Jing was busy calming them.

Mu Ying walked down from the air, this area was primarily her battle zone, and no one dared to take her spoils.

It must be said, killing Blood Crows behind the Territory Shield felt great, but picking up so many Crow Feathers was really a nightmare.

But at least it could be sold for money!

She glanced around and saw the Local People’s glances, somewhat aiming at her, it would somewhat tarnish her image to start collecting Crow Feathers with big baskets right now.

Mu Ying waved her hand grandly and issued a Territory task.

[Territory Task: Collect Crow Feathers]

[Task Description: Help the Lord collect and sell Crow Feathers]

[Task Reward: 10% of the Crow Feathers’ sale income]

[Task Requirement: None]

[Task Duration: Starting now]

This was somewhat a hastily made task.

But as soon as it was issued, the players who saw it immediately accepted.

Easy money is a fool’s errand!

Some players who missed the chance to fight the Blood Crows at the Breeding Camp also came over.

“Quick, the Lord has distributed welfare again, collect Crow Feathers and get a commission, even a child could do it!”

“Is the Lord trying to share more money with us by issuing such an easy task?

10% of the sales, that’s quite generous!”

“Pity there’s no Territory Contribution!”

“Brother, don’t be so greedy, be content, Territory Contributions are so precious!”

“I don’t care much about earning money, I just want to see the Lord’s combat armor up close, it’s so cool!

Totally has a queen vibe!

I love it!”

“Looks like it’s made of thorns!

It also doesn’t look heavy, when can the Armor Store stock new items, I also want to wear such cool armor!”

“This probably isn’t something the Armor Store can make!

You can tell it wasn’t made by Paul, even the best items in the store don’t look this high-end, definitely Purple Quality, I guess!”
