Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the small trainer aircraft suddenly shed its exterior to reveal a fifth-generation Phantom 3000 fighter, Zhao Rong’s eyes widened in surprise. ”Holy smokes,” he exclaimed, ”I can’t believe it! The lead pilot wasn’t flying some simple small plane but a fifth-generation fighter—the Phantom 3000...”

When the three women and the assistant heard that the unassuming aircraft was a Phantom 3000, they immediately looked where Zhao Rong was pointing. To their utter astonishment, the plane had indeed shed its disguise, revealing a sleek and aggressive-looking fighter jet.

Lili’s mouth fell open. ”Holy smokes, I can’t believe it! That guy is actually flying a Phantom fighter...”

Yu Lan gasped. ”Zhao Rong, what do we do? He’s flying a fifth-generation fighter! It’s too fast, and it climbs too sharply. Our flying car will never catch him...”

Xuelian added worriedly, ”If our flying car can’t catch up, we won’t be able to shoot it down. It’ll get away.”

The assistant chimed in with a plan. ”Zhao Rong, do you have any turbochargers? Why don’t you open the Paradise Shopping Cart and buy a hundred of them? We could attach them to our flying car’s engine! That would give us an instant speed boost to catch that fighter!”

Hearing the suggestion, Zhao Rong had an epiphany. His face lit up as he prepared to give it a try. ”I never knew you were so clever, Assistant! That’s an ingenious idea!”

But when the three women heard the assistant suggest buying a hundred turbochargers to add to the car, they thought the idea was unfeasible. ”Zhao Rong, you can’t just add a turbocharger whenever you want,” one of them said. ”Don’t listen to his crazy idea. Let’s think of another way...”

However, before the three women could finish speaking, Zhao Rong had already opened his phone, purchased one hundred turbochargers, and had them delivered.

When the assistant and the three women saw the small box that appeared in front of Zhao Rong, they all crowded around it. ”Zhao Rong, aren’t turbochargers supposed to be huge? How could you possibly fit a hundred of them in this tiny box?”

Lili was certain it was impossible. As she picked up the box to open it, she said, ”Turbochargers are really big. This box couldn’t even fit one, let alone a hundred.”

Yu Lan was also highly skeptical. ”Zhao Rong, aircraft need aviation engines and aviation-grade turbochargers to increase their speed. The car turbochargers you bought on your assistant’s advice won’t work at all.”

Xuelian also felt it was a futile effort. ”Zhao Rong, instead of buying a hundred turbochargers, it would have been more practical to just buy an aircraft engine.”

But just as the assistant and the women were voicing their doubts, Zhao Rong opened the box. He took out one hundred tiny objects that looked just like staples. ”Take a look,” he said. ”These are the legendary, high-tech turbochargers.”

Seeing the pile of staples, they all frowned. One of them picked one up, scraped it against their clothes, and said, ”Zhao Rong, this is clearly just a staple. Why are you calling it a turbocharger?”

Lili pulled a notebook with loose pages from her pocket, used one of the ’staples’ to fasten them together, and turned to Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, were you tricked by the seller? These are just regular staples. How could they possibly be turbochargers?”

After examining the so-called micro-turbochargers, Yu Lan shook her head dubiously. ”Zhao Rong, are you sure these staples are miniature turbochargers?”

Xuelian noted that the staples looked crude and even a little rusty. Convinced they were useless, she said, ”Zhao Rong, buying these was a total waste of money. You might as well just throw them away.”

However, before the women could finish, Zhao Rong tossed all the staples into the car’s engine.

The moment Zhao Rong tossed the staple-like, nano-tech turbochargers into the engine, they intelligently connected with the engine and immediately began the turbocharging process.

While piloting the flying car, Zhao Rong laughed and said to the assistant and the three women, ”Everyone, watch closely. I’m about to give our flying car a speed boost.”

They looked at him in disbelief. ”Are you joking, Zhao Rong? How could these old, rusty staples possibly make our flying car go faster?”

Lili shook her head. ”Zhao Rong, if staples can boost a car’s speed, then plain water could be used as gasoline.”

Watching the enemy aircraft pull farther and farther away, Yu Lan grew frantic. ”Zhao Rong, can’t you see? That villain is getting away! If we don’t act now, he’ll escape and go on to harm more people!”

Xuelian added anxiously, ”Zhao Rong, we really have to do something! We can’t just sit here and wait!”

Before the women could say another word, Zhao Rong slammed his foot on the accelerator. In that instant, the one hundred turbochargers roared to life. The flying car’s speed surged, quickly surpassing that of a UFO.

Zhao Rong gave a friendly reminder to the assistant and the three women, saying, ”Everyone, fasten your seatbelts and hold on tight! I’m about to go even faster!”

After he spoke, he floored the accelerator. The flying car’s speed once again shot past that of a UFO, instantly closing the distance on the fighter jet ahead.
