Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Zhao Rong held the time-space shifter in his hand, stuck his finger inside, and announced to his assistant and the three beauties, ”Watch closely. As soon as I turn this crank, we’ll travel through time and space...”

The assistant rushed forward and grabbed Zhao Rong’s hand. Pointing at the device, he pleaded, ”Brother Zhao Rong, this thing you’re holding is just an automatic pencil sharpener... But you didn’t put a pencil in it; you stuck your finger in! And now you’re about to turn the crank... Aren’t you going to sharpen your own finger off?”

Lili also tried to stop him, saying, ”Brother Zhao Rong, why are you trying to hurt yourself? Why would you use an automatic pencil sharpener to shred your own finger?”

Hearing their misunderstanding, Zhao Rong said awkwardly, ”You’ve got it all wrong. Since you don’t believe this thing in my hand is a time machine, I’ll just have to give you a demonstration. Then you’ll be convinced...”

With that, Zhao Rong turned the crank. As he moved his hand just as if he were sharpening a pencil, a space-time tunnel instantly appeared. A beam of light materialized before the group, forming a spatial passage that resembled a hollow, twisting tunnel.

Zhao Rong stopped and walked toward the light. ”Everyone, look!” he said to his assistant, Lili, and the beautiful Yu Lan and Xuelian. ”The space-time tunnel has finally appeared! If we step inside, we can instantly travel from this world to another...”

When the assistant and the three women saw the space-time tunnel materialize the moment Zhao Rong cranked the pencil sharpener, they rushed to follow him. ”I can’t believe it, Brother Zhao Rong! You really bought a high-tech gadget! It can actually create a time-travel tunnel! This is incredible, absolutely mind-blowing...”

The assistant followed closely behind Zhao Rong, afraid of being left behind. ”Brother Zhao Rong, slow down and let me catch up! Otherwise, what if you reach a world full of beauties and I can’t get through?”

Zhao Rong pointed at the light before them and told his assistant, ”Don’t worry. I created this light with the time-space shifter. No matter how slowly we walk, it will stay open for ten minutes.”

The assistant nodded. ”Brother, so you mean this light will disappear on its own after ten minutes?”

”Of course,” Zhao Rong told him. ”If it didn’t disappear, wouldn’t that give the entire world a free space-time tunnel?”

Saying this, Zhao Rong stepped into the tunnel and vanished before his assistant and the three beauties. Seeing him disappear, the assistant immediately followed suit, vanishing in an instant as well. When Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian saw that the tunnel really worked, they didn’t hesitate for a second and ran right in. Once all five of them had passed through, the light vanished, and at that very moment, they arrived in another world.

The world before their eyes was an incredibly vivid Paradise, filled with the sweet songs of birds and the rich fragrance of flowers.

Zhao Rong took a deep breath of the fresh air. ”I can’t believe we actually came to this world through a space-time tunnel... The air here is amazing! It’s so much better than our city, which is choked with smog every day...”

The assistant spotted a beautiful woman in a floral dress on a swing nearby. ”Holy cow!” he exclaimed. ”There’s a beauty on a swing in this world! This is magical!”

Lili glanced at some nearby honey and licked her lips. ”I read in a book once that Paradise is a place with beauties and honey. Could we have actually traveled through the tunnel to Paradise?”

The beautiful Yu Lan gazed at a crystal-clear stream nearby, watching the small fish swim within it. She walked slowly toward it, her voice filled with longing. ”Ever since I was little, I’ve dreamed of becoming a fish, living carefree in a small river. Now that we’re here, looking at the fish in this clear stream, I feel like I’m one of them. All my worries and anxieties have disappeared. Even the depression I used to feel is completely gone, replaced by a sense of pure joy...”

Suddenly, the beautiful Xuelian spotted a seven-colored auspicious cloud in the distance. Her eyes widened. Looking at Zhao Rong, she pointed at the cloud. ”Brother Zhao Rong, in my dreams, I always imagined you would come to marry me riding a seven-colored cloud, just like Sun Wukong, the Supreme Treasure! I never thought that when we arrived in this new world, there would actually be one, and even a Jingu Bang and a Golden Fillet over there...”

Just as everyone was basking in the joy of this delightful world, Zhao Rong went against the mood and urgently warned them. ”Assistant, Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian! Get ready to fight! Danger is coming!”

Hearing Zhao Rong mention danger, the assistant scoffed. ”Brother Zhao Rong, we’ve arrived in Paradise! Besides the beauties and honey, what could possibly be dangerous here? You’ve got to be kidding.”

Lili also felt there was no danger. Disagreeing, she said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, look at the orioles in the trees, the little fish in the river, the beauty on the swing, and the bees gathering nectar. How could there be any danger in such a wonderful, fantastical world? Stop scaring yourself and just enjoy this marvelous feeling with us.”

The beautiful Yu Lan pointed to the nearby stream. ”Brother Zhao Rong, the water on Earth is so polluted... But look at the water in this world! It’s crystal clear, without a trace of pollution. It’s purer than mineral water itself.”

Meanwhile, the beautiful Xuelian was still staring at the seven-colored cloud, the Jingu Bang, and the Golden Fillet in the distance. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she said to him, ”hurry! Go pick up the Jingu Bang, put on the Golden Fillet, and ride that seven-colored cloud over here to marry me!”
