Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

The three women and the assistant looked at Zhao Rong, then at the old witch across from them holding a scythe, and began to speculate among themselves.

”I bet Zhao Rong will pull out some mysterious weapon to deal with her,” one of them mused. ”He’ll definitely win.”

The assistant thought for a moment before adding, ”I think he’s going to recite a spell to remove the witch’s armor. That’s the only way he can defeat her.”

Lili was convinced that Zhao Rong must have bought an alien weapon from the Paradise Shopping Cart. She laughed and said, ”Zhao Rong, why don’t you take out that alien weapon you bought and show us what you’ve got?”

Yu Lan let her imagination run wild. ”Zhao Rong, I think you must have purchased some kind of genetic weapon to alter the old witch’s genes and triumph over her!”

Xue Lianmei shook her head, believing he must have bought some kind of chemical weapon. She said with a smile, ”Zhao Rong, I think you must have bought a chemical weapon. Only a chemical weapon could defeat the old witch.”

Just as everyone was certain that Zhao Rong would use some mysterious, sophisticated weapon to defeat the witch, he suddenly pulled a durian out of his pocket.

”Sorry, you’re all wrong,” he said. ”This is my secret weapon.”

When they saw that his secret weapon to defeat the old witch was actually a durian, they were so shocked they fell to the ground.

The assistant scrambled up, utterly dumbfounded. ”Zhao Rong, are you kidding me? How could a stinky durian possibly defeat an old witch? This is completely illogical and unscientific!”

Lili shook her head, unable to believe a durian could defeat a powerful witch. ”Please stop joking around,” she said in astonishment. ”Durian is just something that some people like and others don’t. It’s just a fruit, so how could it possibly be used as a weapon, especially against an old witch?”

Yu Lan looked at the durian’s spiky shell and guessed, ”Are you going to use that durian as a Wolf Fang Club to bludgeon her to death?”

Xue Lianmei looked curiously at the fruit in Zhao Rong’s hand. ”Zhao Rong, did you buy this durian in Thailand or Malaysia?”

At that moment, just as everyone was doubting the durian’s potential as a weapon, the old witch cried out in horror, ”Human boy, how did you know which weapon to use against me?”

Zhao Rong stepped forward, raised the durian high, and said with a smile, ”I once saw a Thai horror movie where the witch was not only indestructible but also had nine lives. In the end, the weapon the hero used to kill her was a durian. So, I took a chance and bought a Thai durian from the Paradise Shopping Cart. I never expected you to be so afraid of it. It seems I made the right choice.”

Saying this, Zhao Rong hoisted the durian high and hurled it at the old witch.

The once seemingly invincible witch was struck by the durian. The moment it connected, her body exploded. A plume of green smoke billowed out as she collapsed, bleeding from all seven orifices.

When the three women and the assistant saw that Zhao Rong had defeated the witch who possessed an Indestructible Body and an Immortal Body with nothing but a durian, they all asked in amazement, ”Zhao Rong, what principle is at work here? We couldn’t defeat her with daggers, rifles, grenades, or pepper spray, yet you beat her with an ordinary durian?”

Listening to their questions, Zhao Rong explained, ”You don’t understand. This isn’t any ordinary durian. I bought it through the Paradise Shopping Cart from a temple on Thailand’s Ghost Island. This very durian was blessed by the high monks of that temple. It can not only turn bad luck into good and ward off evil, but it’s also effective against all sorts of demons and monsters. It’s especially potent against old witches.”

When everyone heard the durian had been blessed by high monks, they were all stunned beyond belief.

The assistant, struck by a sudden realization, said, ”No wonder Zhao Rong could defeat the old witch with this durian! It came from near a temple, so it was inherently spiritual.”

Lili complimented him, ”Zhao Rong, you really know how to choose your weapons! We imagined you’d use all sorts of high-tech weapons to fight her, but we never thought you’d beat her with a piece of fruit. You’ve completely shattered our worldview!”

Yu Lan gave Zhao Rong a thumbs-up. ”Zhao Rong, your mind is full of endless ideas. When dealing with villains, you’re able to find the perfect solution, eliminating powerful enemies with the most cost-effective, simple, and even seemingly foolish methods.”

Xue Lianmei stepped forward, blew a kiss toward Zhao Rong, and said adoringly, ”Zhao Rong, I really thought you and that old witch were going to fight for three hundred rounds. I never imagined you’d defeat her just by tossing a durian!”

However, just as the assistant and the three women were praising Zhao Rong, the fallen witch slowly began to climb back to her feet. Covered in blood, she glared at Zhao Rong and snarled through clenched teeth, ”You may have found a way to hurt me, but killing me won’t be so easy...”

Before she could finish, Zhao Rong instantly retrieved a pack of explosives from his Magic Ring, rushed forward, and strapped it to her body. ”Since the durian didn’t kill you,” he said with a smile, ”let this pack of explosives send you to Western Heaven.”

With that, Zhao Rong turned to the onlookers. ”Everyone, take cover! This explosive is extremely powerful!”

Seeing that Zhao Rong’s final move was to use a bomb, they couldn’t help but wonder aloud, ”Could this explosive pack be his real ultimate weapon against the witch?”

Before they could finish their sentence, a massive explosion ripped through the air.
