Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong heard the chairman’s words, it dawned on him. ”Chairman,” he asked in disbelief, ”so Zheng Xiaopeng hired Wang Jingang to kill you for money?”

The chairman nodded. ”That’s right. So for now, I have to disguise myself as Brother Fa. It’s the only way to avoid being discovered by that assassin.”

Listening to the chairman, Zhao Rong heaved a long sigh and offered his reassurance. ”Chairman, you can rest assured. I will find and eliminate the assassin, Wang Jingang, within a month.”

Upon hearing ”a month,” the chairman immediately shook his head and set a new deadline. ”The assassin Wang Jingang comes like a shadow and leaves without a trace. A month is far too long. You must eliminate him within three days.”

Apparently, the threat from Assassin Wang Jingang had tormented the chairman so much that he could barely eat or sleep. His life had become unbearable. Only when Zhao Rong removed this thorn from his heart by eliminating the assassin could the chairman finally feel safe. Only then could he sleep soundly at night and go wherever he pleased during the day without needing a disguise.

Hearing that the chairman had given him only three days, Zhao Rong agreed without a second thought. He looked at the photo of Wang Jingang in his hand and said, ”Chairman, do you have any other information on Wang Jingang? I will definitely deal with him within three days.”

After speaking, Zhao Rong studied the photograph. He noted that Wang Jingang’s skin was somewhat dark and very rough. His eyes were large, with a lot of white showing, and his nose was big, like a clove of garlic. His face had the distinct shape of a shoehorn. Furthermore, Wang Jingang had thin lips and large ears.

The chairman provided more details. ”According to reliable sources, Wang Jingang is currently in his hometown, Stone Village in Ning County. His wife is from Haixi, and they have a son with a congenital heart defect.”

With the address of Wang Jingang’s hometown, Zhao Rong decided to set out at once. ”Chairman, I’m leaving for Stone Village in Ning County now. I’ll find his home and take him down.”

Hearing that Zhao Rong was departing immediately, the chairman gifted him a Mercedes-Benz SUV. ”Brother Zhao Rong, this Mercedes-Benz SUV is yours now. Drive it and go find that assassin, Wang Jingang.”

Zhao Rong took the car keys, stepped outside, and walked toward the Mercedes-Benz SUV the chairman had given him.

However, before Zhao Rong had taken more than a few steps, his assistant and the three beautiful women rushed to catch up. ”Brother Zhao Rong, wait! We’re a team. How can we let you go on such a dangerous mission by yourself?”

The assistant grabbed Zhao Rong’s sleeve and declared with great solemnity, ”Brother Zhao Rong, we are brothers. We may not have been born on the same day, month, and year, but we can die on the same day, month, and year! I know this mission is extremely dangerous, so I must go with you to protect you, take care of you, and serve you.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong retched twice. He patted his assistant’s shoulder and said, ”You can come with me on the mission. But as for taking care of and serving me, just forget it. I’m afraid the sight of you would make me sick to my stomach.”

At that moment, the three beautiful women approached.

Miss Lili said worriedly, ”Brother Zhao Rong, how can you go on this mission alone? Without the three of us to accompany you, your journey would be so dreadfully lonely.”

Yu Lan insisted on joining him. ”Big Brother Zhao Rong, without us three beauties by your side, how lonely, forlorn, and cold would the journey be for a man all by himself? You must take us with you. Miss Lili can cook for you, I’ll give you back rubs, and Xuelian will do your laundry.”

Xuelian stepped forward, pulling a portable washing machine from her pocket. ”Big Brother, look! I bought this from the Paradise Shopping Cart specifically to bring along, just so I can take good care of you and wash your clothes.”

Seeing how thoughtful the three beauties were, Zhao Rong relented. ”Although this mission is very dangerous, if you really want to come, I’ll do my utmost to protect you. I swear I’ll get you there and back safely.”

When the three women and the assistant heard that Zhao Rong had agreed to take them, they hugged each other joyfully. ”Thank you, Big Brother Zhao Rong! Our team can hit the road together again!”

As Zhao Rong got into the driver’s seat of the Mercedes, the beauties and his assistant quickly followed. The assistant sat in the front passenger seat, while the three women took the back.

As he drove, Zhao Rong briefed them, ”The assassin we’re looking for, Wang Jingang, is no ordinary person. His speed is incredible. He can appear and disappear without a trace. That’s why we must be extremely cautious at all times. We can’t let our guard down or be careless for a second. Otherwise, the consequences will be unimaginable.”

The assistant nodded in agreement. Looking out at the scenery, he said, ”As long as you’re here, Big Brother Zhao Rong, we won’t be afraid.”

Feeling perfectly safe in the car, the three women added, ”As long as you’re protecting us, Big Brother Zhao Rong, we’ll give it our all and fight right alongside you.”

Just then, as Zhao Rong drove the car into a tunnel, he said to the three women, ”We’re about to go through the Qinling Tunnel. It’s very long and very dark, so everyone be prepared.”

But before he could finish his sentence, the car was already enveloped in the tunnel’s darkness. Visibility was extremely poor. With his eyes wide, Zhao Rong didn’t dare let his guard down for a moment.

As he reached the tunnel’s midpoint, he spotted two children standing by the wall up ahead, holding sticks.

When Zhao Rong saw them, he was completely baffled. How could there be two children in the middle of the Qinling Tunnel? What on earth are they doing here?

Before he could finish the thought, he felt a violent jolt as the left side of the car struck something. Immediately afterward, a splash of fresh blood splattered across the windshield.
