Reborn As Super Heiress

”Damn it!”

She kept shouting Su Qingqing’s name over the phone, but there was no response.

Huo Sining’s heart suddenly leaped with anxiety, recalling Su Qingqing’s earlier words about her tires being deflated. She realized this was definitely not some child’s prank but a premeditated act.

Without thinking too much, Huo Sining slammed the gas pedal, took a sharp turn, drifted a bit on the road, and rushed back the way she came.

Her face was dark, engulfed in anger and self-blame. While driving, she forced herself to stay calm, calling both Wu Jun and Su Jinyuan and informing them that something might have happened to Su Qingqing.

Su Jinyuan and Wu Jun, upon hearing the news, were also both anxious and furious, but being men, they were much calmer than Huo Sining. While deploying personnel to the location, they also took time to soothe Huo Sining’s emotions, reminding her not to act rashly.

However, all Huo Sining could think about was the scene of Su Qingqing being kidnapped. She couldn’t care less about waiting for Wu Jun and Su Jinyuan’s people, and hurriedly went to the underground parking lot where Su Qingqing was.

On the way, Huo Sining imagined many scenarios, such as Su Qingqing being injured after resisting or directly abducted. Huo Sining even prepared for the worst-case scenario that if Su Qingqing was kidnapped, she would search every last inch to find those responsible and would never let them go.

But when her car arrived at the underground parking lot where Su Qingqing’s car was parked, and she saw the situation clearly inside the parking lot, she was somewhat stunned.

There, Su Qingqing was sitting like a queen across the front of her car hood. At her feet lay four or five disheveled punks, each with bruised faces, looking pitiful, while Su Qingqing was casually playing with a pair of nunchucks, seemingly at ease.

Huo Sining’s heart finally settled as she hurriedly got out and walked towards Su Qingqing:

”Qingqing, are you alright?”

Su Qingqing raised her head to look at Huo Sining: ”Ningning, how did you get here so fast?”

Huo Sining glared at Su Qingqing exasperatedly: ”And you have the nerve to ask. The moment I heard you were in trouble, I rushed back in panic! Who knows how many red lights I ran, and it’s probably not long before the police come after my car!”

Only now did Su Qingqing remember that she had lost contact with Huo Sining in the middle of their call, and she was a bit embarrassed as she touched the back of her head:

”Oh no, I got so caught up in the fight that I forgot I was still on the phone with you. Sorry, Ningning, for worrying you!”

”You knew you’d worry me? I thought you got kidnapped. And you didn’t say a word; all I heard was screaming inside, which scared me into calling your brother and Wu Jun. Hold on, in less than five minutes, your brother and soon-to-be husband will storm over too!”

Huo Sining really had no words. She had always known Su Qingqing was unreliable, but she didn’t expect her to be so scatterbrained in such matters. This fuss was likely to stir things up and alarm quite a few people.

”I haven’t exercised in a while, so I got excited when there was a fight. I went overboard and didn’t think it through. But why did you call my brother and Wu Jun?” Su Qingqing looked at Huo Sining, quite flustered.

”What else could I do? I thought you were in trouble, and I couldn’t risk hiding it, fearing every minute might be crucial to your safety.”

As Huo Sining chastised Su Qingqing, she glanced at the injured people lying on the ground, puzzled and curious,

”What’s going on here?”

Su Qingqing sneered: ”What’s going on? Ten to one it has to do with that Ye Zixin. That woman has been harassing me every day like glue, calling non-stop. The other day, she even blocked me at school, insisting I take Zhou Zhen, saying if I don’t, it means I won’t forgive her. Damn it, this kind of shameless person isn’t just shameless; she’s actually resorting to such trashy tactics. I really overestimated her!”

Huo Sining, hearing Su Qingqing’s words, understood the situation: ”Troublesome people, did you know she’d make a move on you, so you prepared in advance?”

Huo Sining referred to the nunchucks left in the car; it seemed Su Qingqing had anticipated Ye Zixin’s desperate tricks and was wise enough to stash a self-defense weapon in the car.

Su Qingqing nodded: ”I wasn’t sure she’d actually do it, but better safe than sorry. Bringing something for self-defense can never go wrong.”

Huo Sining nodded approvingly: ”Well, that was smart of you, at least you didn’t foolishly clash with this bunch of low-life garbage. But what exactly is Ye Zixin trying to do? She broke up with Zhou Zhen, so what does it have to do with you? Is she out of her mind?”

Su Qingqing coldly laughed: ”I don’t know. Getting to the bottom of what she’s thinking isn’t difficult; these punks are lying here, just send them to the police and let the officers get to the bottom of it. That way, Ye Zixin can say what she wants at mine, let’s see how she explains herself to the police!”

Huo Sining glanced at the miserable state of the punks on the ground, silently mourning for them and Ye Zixin, who had plotted against them.

Before taking action, these guys probably never thought to conduct a proper investigation, ending up entangled with someone unpredictable like Su Qingqing, who not only didn’t get kidnapped but ended up beating them badly instead.

However, no matter the outcome, such matters can’t be tolerated; Huo Sining and Su Qingqing both shared the view that they should never let the mastermind behind this incident off easily, a serious lesson must be taught!

Ye Zixin never anticipated that her meticulously schemed tricks would conclude like this, dragging herself down as well.

She was in her rental apartment, watching TV gleefully, glancing at her phone from time to time, awaiting good news from those punks. Just imagining Su Qingqing being taken to some desolate area by them, she couldn’t help but laugh at the thought.

But as the evening arrived and there was still no call or text from the punks, instead, there was a rapid knock on her door. Confused, Ye Zixin got up to answer, only to open the door and find several uniformed police officers standing outside. Her mind went blank, instantly rendering her speechless.
