Reborn As Super Heiress

However, even so, Windsor Reed still wasn’t very satisfied, just like Huo Sining had said before, this is, after all, Mexico, not his territory. If this truly is a super large mine, once the news gets out, it’s bound to cause a lot of trouble, and there’s a good chance it will lead to further complications.

Ever since the last time Caesar had an accident in the mining area, Windsor Reed always felt a lack of security. Especially now with Huo Sining’s speculation, he became even more nervous, always feeling that the protective measures here should be more stringent.

When Huo Sining woke up early the next morning, she saw Windsor Reed standing at the door looking weary and anxious with two black circles under his eyes, appearing very worried.

Huo Sining wasn’t someone who could keep things to herself, so she couldn’t help but ask about the reason.

After Windsor Reed explained the situation, Huo Sining immediately laughed.

”Mr. Earl, preventing gossip is harder than preventing a flood. If you are relying on these security forces to stop these miners from talking to avoid the news from getting out, that’s really not a good idea.”

”Everyone has mobile phones, and even though the signal is often poor in these mountains, there will always be one or two unexpected occasions when it works. If the news really leaks out, the security forces you’ve found are completely useless.”

Windsor Reed was startled upon hearing this and instinctively looked up at Huo Sining, asking hurriedly:

”Then what should we do? I’ve been hoping your speculation would come true, but because of this matter, I haven’t slept a wink all night and can’t think of a good solution.”

Upon hearing this, Huo Sining couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows: ”I think it’s quite easy to solve. If this mine is only a matter for you, these people naturally have no obligation to keep your secret, but what if you let the miners be involved, making this mine closely related to them?”

Windsor Reed was taken aback, asking somewhat confusedly: ”Miss Huo, do you mean...”

Huo Sining shrugged: ”I’ve heard that many diamond developers screen the diamonds they unearth during mining, and they don’t want anything under a certain grade. But these low-grade diamond fragments are coveted by the miners.”

Windsor Reed nodded: ”That’s true, these miners make quite a bit by selling those fragments.”

Huo Sining lifted her head and smiled: ”Isn’t this easy to solve then? If this truly is a super large mine, then you become the most generous boss in all of Europe and America, just raise the grade by one or two points. You can feast on the meat, but let these miners have some of the broth.”

”Honestly, I don’t think much of a 47-point grade. Even if you raise it to 50 points, I don’t think it’s a big deal.”

”You are in the diamond business, so you surely know better than I do that these small diamonds, while selling well on the market, don’t actually have much profit.”

”And since your company is aimed at high-end clients, even if you end up with these small diamonds, they’re just going to be resold to other diamond companies. This small profit isn’t worth holding on to.”

”You just take the bulk of the profits and can make a fortune, benefiting the Windsor Family for decades. Letting the miners share in the small scraps isn’t a big deal.”

”But these small scraps are a huge blessing for the miners, and as a generous and fair boss, the miners will naturally understand the benefits and will protect your secret in return.”

”This way, it’s a win-win situation. The miners surely understand that with this mine in your hands, they earn more, but should it fall into someone else’s hands, they might not have this luck. Solving the problem at its root, isn’t this better than finding more security forces to restrict the miners’ movements and silence them?”

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s words, Windsor Reed felt enlightened, feeling a sudden clarity.

He couldn’t help but clap his hands and laugh, looking at Huo Sining with full admiration in his eyes:

”You’re right, I was stuck in a dead end. Miss Huo, you truly are a marvelous person! This suggestion is just brilliant!”

Huo Sining smiled and shook her head, humbly saying: ”You flatter me, Mr. Earl. You have navigated the business world for so many years, I’m not even a fraction as strategic as you. It’s just that the situation with this mine is very complex, and you are too close to it, hence finding it hard to see the bigger picture.”

Windsor Reed deeply agreed with Huo Sining’s words; he indeed was panicking, his mind in a mess, unable to think of any ideas, and it was only after Huo Sining’s insight that he became clear-headed.

Normally, receiving such praise, one would be proud, but despite the effort Huo Sining put in, she didn’t claim credit, and her words were so eloquent that Windsor Reed felt comfortable listening, secretly sighing that this woman is truly remarkable, such skills and emotional intelligence at such a young age!

After a casual conversation with Windsor Reed, Huo Sining did not forget her task. Led by Matthew, she and Gu Xu followed the map’s markings, heading straight into the deep mountains towards the five marked spots.

This occupied them for a whole day in the Malad Mountains, until dusk, when Huo Sining and her team safely returned to the base in the mining area.

The only way to verify the associated minerals is by using the Heavenly Eye for exploration.

The range that Huo Sining’s Heavenly Eye could survey was only fifty meters, closely sticking to the mountain surface for exploration. She couldn’t guarantee finding the associated minerals at all these places, but as long as she could confirm the existence of one or two, it would be enough to prove her hypothesis correct.

Therefore, upon reaching each spot, Huo Sining eagerly began searching the surface of those mountains.

Gu Xu, who was beside her, obviously knew what Huo Sining was doing, so he remained silent, only paying close attention to her movements and staying alert to the surroundings.

But Matthew, who was with them, was different. He was dumbfounded by Huo Sining’s strange actions, looking at her in bewilderment, his mind in a muddle, unable to make sense of it.

He didn’t know what this woman was doing. Although Windsor Reed had previously briefed him, telling him this Miss Lina is a highly professional geological expert, now witnessing Huo Sining’s actions, Matthew didn’t know what to say.
