Reborn As Super Heiress

After entering the warehouse, the two did not act rashly. Gu Xu quickly took out some instruments he had previously obtained from Yu Fei, installed them, and started them up. Before long, Yu Fei sent a message indicating that the signal had been connected and everything would be settled within half a minute.

Gu Xu and Huo Sining had entered the warehouse under the guise of invisibility, so they were not in a hurry. After about twenty seconds, Yu Fei sent another message saying the signal had been jammed and re-covered.

This guy relied on a jamming device brought in by Gu Xu, directly severing the internal network of the warehouse, disabling all the cameras.

At the same time, to prevent the anomaly within the warehouse from being detected by the monitoring room staff on duty, he overlaid the previous surveillance video frequency. So now, the warehouse was completely in a state of blackout, unattended, allowing Huo Sining and Gu Xu to do as they please.

With this information, Huo Sining and Gu Xu dared to stand up straight, carefully and meticulously observing the entire situation inside the warehouse.

This was the base of a drug lord hidden deep in the Malad Mountains, and that Tranleva was willing to spare no expense. So as the core of the entire base, this warehouse’s defense measures and security systems were impeccable. Coupled with the ruthless reputation of the drug traffickers, few thieves dared to risk their lives provoking such a group of vicious people.

At least, ever since Tranleva set up his retreat here, for over a decade, and in Mexico, a place where crime rates remain high, no suspicious person had ever visited here.

It was precisely because of this that Tranleva was very confident in the safety of this base and never believed anyone would dare to target him.

Even when his documents were stolen by Elisa, he was only worried that the evidence of black transactions might be used against him. As for his bases, while they might be treasure troves for drug traffickers, they were utterly worthless to those who feared drugs.

Therefore, even knowing his documents might have fallen into someone else’s hands, Tranleva did not deliberately take precautions. He merely tightened the security management of the base, and as for moving the base elsewhere, such an idea never even crossed his mind.

As for Windsor Caesar being captured, that was purely coincidental. Tranleva had built the base in the Malad Mountains for so many years without incident, but who would’ve thought, after all these years, suddenly a Brit would send a large team of miners here for diamond mining.

When Tranleva first saw those miners, he was quite startled, especially when the timing of the news coincided with Elisa stealing his documents. So naturally, Tranleva grew somewhat wary, worried these miners were using mining as a cover and were actually here to find his secret base.

However, after some investigation, Tranleva discovered he might have misunderstood. A vast area of the Eastern Sierra Madre Mountains had indeed been sold to a Brit, who turned out to be a royal noble.

Having dominated Mexico for so many years and being on his own turf, Tranleva was naturally unafraid of any English Earl. However, since the mountains were owned by someone else, and they were legally mining, he couldn’t find any excuse to stop the Brit from conducting mining operations on their legally purchased mountains.

But seeing these people using bulldozers and explosives, no one could guarantee that these miners wouldn’t accidentally uncover the entrance to the base one day.

Although such a coincidence is unlikely, Tranleva still felt that to prevent any eventualities, he should drive the miners and the Brit out of the Malad Mountains. He absolutely couldn’t allow them to run wild in his lair.

So, since soft methods didn’t work, Tranleva resorted to hard tactics, capturing the person in charge to intimidate and entice the Brit to obediently return to England.

And it was a complete coincidence that when Tranleva decided to act, Windsor Reed wasn’t around. Only Windsor Reed’s son, Windsor Caesar, stayed at the mine. This made it easier for the drug dealers to act, catching Windsor Caesar off guard, achieving a direct hit.

Having captured the son of this British Earl, Tranleva naturally felt confident. He believed that as long as he uttered a few threats, the old Earl would panic and abandon the mountains, never expecting anyone daring enough to attack his camp and try to destroy his supplies.

Inside this warehouse, numerous steel plate layers were installed. There were also infrared sensors in the warehouse, with a large central processor at its core, which should be the main hardware of the entire base. Without authorization, once someone intrudes into this base, exiting would be quite challenging.

Besides, this warehouse also had a full set of vibration sensors. If the vibrations within the warehouse exceeded a certain amplitude, sensors would automatically trigger alarms, and the processor would activate defense programs, with the possibility of self-destruction in severe cases.

These defense conditions gave Tranleva such confidence in the security of his base, believing that no one would dare trespass for another twenty years. Tranleva was not only ruthless but also a tech enthusiast, always eager to try new technology products.

Especially after watching some Hollywood tech espionage films, Tranleva became deeply interested in the high-intelligence criminals and tech products. Therefore, he invested heavily in equipping and researching his base, aiming to make it an absolutely secure place, where not even a fly could get in.

However, Tranleva never anticipated that this seemingly impregnable base would fall into Huo Sining’s hands. And the cheating tool this woman possessed turned his base into a sieve full of holes.

In this dark and spacious warehouse, Huo Sining put on a pair of infrared sensing glasses that Yu Fei had specifically equipped her with. Once she put them on, she could immediately see the intersecting and rolling infrared beams throughout the warehouse. The entire warehouse spanned several thousand square meters, but the non-lethal infrared identification frequency was indeed startling.

Infrared sensing technology is a method that uses specialized sensors to detect changes in human infrared spectra. As long as there is thermal energy, there will be an infrared spectrum, while inanimate objects do not emit heat, thus any living being entering this warehouse would be detected.

If a normal person entered this warehouse, there would be no way to evade detection, and they would be discovered immediately.
