Reborn As Super Heiress

After handling Tongtong’s matters, the new semester was about to begin.

Huo Sining didn’t live on campus, and due to her special status, her time attending classes at school was actually not much.

If it were other students, the school might have expelled them long ago, but Huo Sining was different. Many of the things she did were significant for the nation, which not only brought personal acclaim but also a positive impact to S University. Nowadays, many students came to S University because of Huo Sining’s name.

Due to this relationship, the school leadership often turned a blind eye to Huo Sining’s repeated absenteeism and long periods away from campus. Occasionally, when some teachers protested, they would find ways to speak positively about her and provide leniency.

Fortunately, Huo Sining proved herself capable. Even though she wasn’t on campus, her coursework never fell behind. At the end of each semester’s exams, she consistently produced excellent grades and silenced her teachers.

Because of this, not only did her teachers, but even her classmates in the same department and class admire the elusive goddess of S University. No one objected to the school’s privilege for her, and even considered it completely justified.

Given Huo Sining’s good academic performance, the school designated her as an inspirational example for students, not only recognizing her as an outstanding student but also awarding her a special scholarship.

Huo Sining didn’t value the scholarship much; her fame and wealth were already abundant. However, other students were different, and she hoped the school would bestow such honors on those in need rather than waste it on her.

But the school’s perspective was different; they considered her influence and hoped the award would attract more students, essentially using Huo Sining’s popularity for advertisement.

As expected, during the start of the school ceremony, when news of Huo Sining’s special scholarship spread, some media reporters sniffed out newsworthy points and infiltrated S University, secretly sneaking into the auditorium to take undercover photos of the event.

Naturally, Huo Sining didn’t believe the school’s security couldn’t recognize those with cameras around their necks were outside journalists. Clearly, these reporters were most likely arranged by the school.

Though speechless about this, the school provided her a platform to grow, and she couldn’t turn against the administration over such trivial matters. She had to pretend she didn’t notice and tacitly agree, considering it as free endorsement for the school.

The special scholarship amount was considerable, totaling 30,000 yuan. When three stacks of money were handed to Huo Sining, the students below the stage stared in envy, wishing they could switch places with her. Yet, Huo Sining felt surprisingly calm.

After the ceremony and upon leaving the auditorium, Luo Jinzhi sent her a message, congratulating her on the honor.

Huo Sining merely smiled, noting that Luo Jinzhi officially became the sales director of the fragrance company. Just the monthly salary from that position exceeded her scholarship by a long shot, not to mention the booming sales of balsam in summer, where commissions were substantial. So, Luo Jinzhi’s congratulatory words were mere politeness.

Still, Huo Sining sincerely thanked her.

Beyond Luo Jinzhi, Su Qingqing wasn’t at the school. Upon hearing news of the special scholarship, she immediately called Huo Sining:

”You’re incredible, running around all the time, barely attending classes, yet you snag a special scholarship. Are you superhuman or what?”

Huo Sining slightly raised an eyebrow, replied with a smile: ”Average, really. I just have a tad bit more talent than you.”

Talking about talent made Su Qingqing somewhat discouraged. She considered herself having talent in treasure appraisal but didn’t expect that her years of hard work and influence from her brother wouldn’t match up to the late-blooming Huo Sining. Honestly, the woman was extraordinarily gifted.

No, she was not merely talented; she’s practically a prodigy, capable of almost everything. Comparing herself with others was futile. Su Qingqing really learned what it means to always have someone better, realizing the depth of Huo Sining’s abilities.

”This is truly a double blessing for you, winning trophies and raising kids. Compared to you, we’re losing before the race even starts. You’re advancing your career and love life without missing a beat, now winning the scholarship while being pregnant. Is there no justice?”

Su Qingqing couldn’t help but express her discontent.

Huo Sining chuckled: ”If you want, you can have one too; it’d be perfect companionship for my little one!”

Su Qingqing was instantly speechless: ”Forget it, I haven’t even started my internship. If I get pregnant now, my mentor would be terribly disappointed, probably wouldn’t take me anywhere.”

Huo Sining burst into laughter: ”Oh, didn’t realize you’re so career-oriented. Turns out you’re quite ambitious!”

Her teasing was clear, and Su Qingqing caught on immediately, feeling awkward. After years of college, she hadn’t mastered anything but became quite good at skipping classes, getting caught numerous times by Xie Daoyuan. Nonetheless, Huo Sining knew this better than anyone.

”Alright, stop with the fancy excuses. I think you’re just afraid Aunt and Uncle will disapprove. What’s with all the secrecy? Wu Jun is running my company now, worth quite a lot, a true Diamond Bachelor, nothing to be ashamed of. If there’s any issue, I’ll speak to them nicely, guaranteed you two will pass smoothly!”

Huo Sining understood Su Qingqing’s mindset. Seeing that the couple had stalled for years without progress, she couldn’t help but feel anxious, ultimately voicing encouragement.

Su Qingqing knew well Huo Sining’s influence on her family. Hearing her offer to help smooth things over elated her, prompting a joyful scream: ”Really? Then I’ll leave it to you! This concerns your cousin’s lifelong happiness, don’t fail me!”
