Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1756: Chapter 1658: The Target is Xie Yuxing

”So heavy! This woman looks thin as a rail, yet I didn’t expect her to be so heavy!”

Su Lingxue tossed Xie Yuxing into the back seat and then slipped into the passenger seat.

”Let’s go.” Su Lingxue checked the time and motioned for Huang Jingwen to drive.

Inside the dim car, there were only the sounds of four people breathing and their heartbeats.

The seemingly intoxicated Huo Sining and Xie Yuxing on the back seat opened their eyes and exchanged cautious glances.

Huo Sining’s hand slowly moved to Xie Yuxing’s back and started writing a message, stroke by stroke.

[Her target is you! She dragged that Luo Shaoqun into it too! I guess she’s definitely planning to relocate you somewhere else!]

Xie Yuxing paused her breath, her eyes filled with coldness, but her lips curled into a bitter smile.

Is it true that you pick the softest plum to squeeze?

In the entertainment industry, she always kept a low profile, but that didn’t mean she was easy to bully. Even without any power or backing, Su Lingxue couldn’t just trample her!

Seeing Xie Yuxing’s bitter smile, Huo Sining felt a pang in her heart. She quickly reached out to write a few more words on Xie Yuxing’s back:

[Be careful later. I’ll come to help you. Don’t be afraid!]

Xie Yuxing’s heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively looked at Huo Sining.

[Are you sure there aren’t any issues?]

Though Huo Sining’s eyes showed certainty, Xie Yuxing didn’t feel entirely secure, but she chose to trust Huo Sining and nodded slightly.

[Alright then, be cautious and stay safe! If it doesn’t work out, call the police!]

Huang Jingwen quickly drove back to the hotel where the film crew was stationed, and the car went straight into the basement.

Upon arrival, they saw Qimi, Su Lingxue’s assistant, already waiting.

Su Lingxue got out of the car and directly asked, ”Is the room booked? No one suspected anything, right?”

Qimi nodded, glanced at the seemingly unconscious Xie Yuxing in the back seat, hesitated, and then said:

”I booked the room online directly; no one saw anything.”

Su Lingxue looked at her assistant, completely wrapped up and armed like a dumpling, and nodded satisfactorily:

”Getting clever now, huh? Hmph, take her to that room, be smart about it, and don’t let anyone see!”

Qimi bit her lip, lowered her head, nodded slightly, and opened the back seat to help Xie Yuxing towards the elevator.

Once Qimi went upstairs, Huang Jingwen took Huo Sining to the hotel floor where the crew was stationed.

Huang Jingwen escorted Huo Sining to her room and was about to search Huo Sining’s purse for a room card, but the door was unexpectedly opened from the inside.

Yang Suxin had previously received a notification from Xie Yuxing, instructing her to wait in Huo Sining’s room, so she had been watching TV there. Hearing the noise at the door, she thought Xie Yuxing and Huo Sining had returned and ran over joyfully to open the door.

However, after opening the door, the smile on her face faded.

Because only Huo Sining and Huang Jingwen were standing at the door, her artist was nowhere to be seen, and Huo Sining’s face was flushed, smelling heavily of alcohol, indicating she was quite inebriated.

Yang Suxin hadn’t expected Huo Sining to be brought back by Huang Jingwen and immediately frowned.

Given the past animosity between Huo Sining and Su Lingxue, they couldn’t have reconciled so quickly. Based on Su Lingxue’s personality, it didn’t make sense for her to go out of her way to bring the drunken Huo Sining back; it was too unusual!

”Sister Jingwen, may I ask why my Sister Xing didn’t return with Miss Huo?”

The situation was strange, but now wasn’t the time to dwell on it. Yang Suxin was more concerned about her artist’s whereabouts.

Huang Jingwen was startled, not expecting Huo Sining’s assistant to still be inside Huo Sining’s room, let alone awake, suddenly feeling guilty:

”We didn’t come back together; Brother Shaoqun and several other actors are still enjoying skewers and drinks. Since Miss Huo drank too much and felt tipsy, my Lingxue wanted to sleep, so we brought her back.”

Huang Jingwen’s words were vague, implying that Xie Yuxing might still be drinking with Luo Shaoqun and the others.

Yet, she only mentioned that Luo Shaoqun and others hadn’t left yet, not that Xie Yuxing was with them.

But Yang Suxin misunderstood, thinking Xie Yuxing was still drinking there.

Yang Suxin found it odd since recently, Xie Yuxing and Huo Sining had been inseparable. Why were they apart now?

The idea that Xie Yuxing was staying up late drinking seemed inappropriate to Yang Suxin, but she couldn’t display her displeasure in front of outsiders.

Moreover, as an assistant and not the manager, she wasn’t in a position to meddle in the private lives of artists.

Despite her inner dislike for Huang Jingwen, Yang Suxin thanked her and took over supporting Huo Sining.

She knew the enmity between Su Lingxue and Huo Sining and found Huang Jingwen’s words strange, but she didn’t suspect Su Lingxue of planning harm against Xie Yuxing.

Just as Yang Suxin closed the door and prepared to lay the drunk on the bed, Huo Sining abruptly opened her eyes.

Yang Suxin was startled, almost crying out.

Huo Sining wouldn’t let her make a sound and swiftly covered Yang Suxin’s mouth.

”Shh!”

With one hand muffling Yang Suxin, Huo Sining peered through the peephole at the scene outside the door.

Sure enough, Huang Jingwen stood at the door, lingering for four to five minutes before turning away.

After the previous ”Pearl Powder” incident, Su Lingxue had become wary of the presidential suite next door and chose to stay in a regular suite downstairs.

Huo Sining didn’t dare make any rash moves, fearing one wrong step could put Xie Yuxing in danger.

She whispered to Yang Suxin, ”Keep quiet, Sister Xing has been captured by them!”

Hearing that Xie Yuxing was captured by Su Lingxue, Yang Suxin’s heart sank, feeling utterly distraught. She turned to open the door and confront Huang Jingwen for information.

Huo Sining feared Yang Suxin’s interference; they had pretended to be drunk for so long just to uncover Su Lingxue’s scheming. If Yang Suxin confronted them now, their plan would be for naught!

Seeing this, Huo Sining quickly stopped Yang Suxin and said, ”Don’t go, stay inside the room and follow my instructions, don’t go anywhere. Sister Xing isn’t drunk, don’t worry, she’ll be alright. I’ll think of a way to get her out!”

Yang Suxin was stunned, raising her head to look at Huo Sining.

Huo Sining’s eyes were resolute, shining with determination: ”Trust me!”

The previously lost Yang Suxin suddenly steadied her nerves; she nodded heavily, ”Okay, I’ll wait in the room!”
