Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 935: Chapter 931: The Woman Who Raises a Little Ghost?

The time inside the storage ring is frozen, so in the consciousness of these few thugs, they were clearly still sprinting through the alleys of Ginza one second, and the next, they found themselves in the sea. This bizarre situation simply can’t be explained with scientific theories.

The thugs who were still conscious exchanged glances and felt a sense of fear emanating from each other’s eyes.

At the time, they heard the screams of their companions, which prompted them to rush back in panic to see what was going on. But before they could understand the situation, in the blink of an eye, they were surrounded by the icy sea water.

The thugs looked at each other blankly; none of them knew what had just happened.

”Boss, what’s going on? Weren’t we chasing that woman named Huo in Ginza?”

”You ask me, who the hell am I supposed to ask?”

The leader of the thugs had a look of bewilderment on his face. When his subordinates asked him, he immediately snapped angrily at them with curses. After cursing a few times, he remembered what had happened before. Once he came to his senses, he looked back at the two thugs and asked, ”What happened, what happened to your eyes, and why were you screaming in that alley just now?”

The two thugs couldn’t open their eyes, their faces full of innocence: ”Boss, we don’t know either. You told us to guard the area, so we did. Then out of nowhere, someone patted us on the shoulder, and when we turned around, we got sprayed with pepper spray.”

The thug leader immediately furrowed his brows: ”It seems that woman named Huo jumped back over the wall to take us down one by one.”

The other thugs still looked completely clueless: ”Could it be that the woman did something to make us fall into the water too?”

The thug’s face fell: ”That’s impossible. We’re seven grown men; it’s not easy to throw us into Eastern Capital Bay. That woman doesn’t have that kind of ability, nor could she do it without alerting anyone.”

”So how did we end up here?” One of the thugs seemed to have thought of something, suddenly shivered, his eyes showed a sign of fear, and his voice trembled,

”Could it be we encountered a ghost? I heard people in Huaxia raise little ghosts, capable of making them obey orders. Could that woman named Huo be a ghost mother?”

As soon as the thug spoke, the other thugs were terrified, their faces turning pale. No one dared to recall the previous events again.

The leader of the thugs was anxious deep down. Although he didn’t truly believe in ghost stories, it was apparent that the woman named Huo was a tough character. Although he couldn’t understand how the woman had gotten them into the sea, he was certain that the person who did this was undoubtedly Huo Sining.

Thinking of this, fear also showed in the thug’s eyes.

Since the woman could toss them into the bay without anyone noticing, she could also silently take their lives.

While they had been aggressive, the woman merely threw them into the sea, suggesting that her aim wasn’t to kill them, but to teach them a lesson and issue a warning.

The thug instantly grasped the crux of the issue; they had provoked the woman, and while the woman spared their lives, if they continued to act recklessly, they might not be so lucky next time.

Fear flashed across the thug’s eyes, and he immediately decided that even if Hattori Keiko dismissed them, they absolutely shouldn’t provoke the woman named Huo again. Such people are not to be messed with or confronted.

”Useless! I spent so much money just to maintain a group of useless gluttons like you?!”

”Seven grown men couldn’t even capture one woman, are you all Fantong?”

”Even if we didn’t catch her, at least bring back the Jadeite I want. It’s High Ice Type Purple Eyes, and you can’t find a prettier one in the whole country!”

Seeing the seven henchmen who returned to report, Hattori Keiko was practically furious.

She ordered them to seize someone, yet these men returned empty-handed, announcing that they lost the person and couldn’t get hold of the Jadeite! Is there anyone in the world dumber than them?

Hattori Keiko, in a fit of rage, grabbed a porcelain bowl from the table and hurled it towards the leading thug, the bowl smashed directly against the thug’s forehead, leaving a large wound with blood streaming down.

The thug lowered his eyelids, his expression unchanged, nor daring to show any sign of discontent, allowing the blood to drip onto the top of his foot.

”Get out, get out, stop being an eyesore here!”

Hattori Keiko was burning with anger, finding these thugs particularly displeasing, but she didn’t have many people she could use on hand, otherwise, she would have just disposed of all of them.

Several thugs, feeling as if they’d been given a reprieve, quickly retreated out of the room, finally exhaling a sigh of relief once they stepped out.

No one mentioned the incident of them falling into Eastern Capital Bay, nor dare speak of such an eerie piece of business. The matter was buried deep in their hearts, neither daring to remember nor mention the Huaxia woman named Huo.

After docking the yacht, Huo Sining went straight back to Sota University. She was originally bothered by Hattori Keiko’s cruel and bloody actions, feeling extremely uncomfortable. Surprisingly, after the antics of those seven fools, Huo Sining vented some of her pent-up anger, instantly feeling much better.

Feeling okay, she simply grabbed her backpack and headed toward the convenience store where Hinata Chinatsu worked, following the address provided by Hinata Chinatsu.

Having cut a piece of Purple Eyes Jadeite, and given how much Hinata Chinatsu had looked after her recently, Huo Sining decided to be generous and treat Hinata Chinatsu to some hot-pot or the like.

Hinata Chinatsu’s workplace was not far from Sota University on a street. Huo Sining checked the map on her phone and quickly found the place, following the map’s guidance to the convenience store.

Finding the convenience store, Huo Sining was about to push the door open when she saw Hinata Chinatsu rush out from the washroom area on one side, her face flushed red, looking panicked and terrified.

Feeling something was off, Huo Sining instinctively called out, ”Hinata-san, I’m here. What time do you get off work?”

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s voice, Hinata Chinatsu immediately lifted her head, revealing a hint of vulnerability and grievance in her eyes, but she quickly concealed those emotions, her face suddenly blossoming into a smile, welcoming Huo with great delight, ”Huo Sining, what brings you here?”

Huo Sining examined Hinata Chinatsu’s expression, seeing that she seemed fine, she didn’t think much of it and explained with a smile:

”I came to invite you for a meal. I just made some money, didn’t you say there’s a place nearby with great hot-pot? I’m really craving it, want to go together?”
