Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 908: Chapter 904: Schizophrenia

There was Yan Feng at home in the villa, so Huo Sining wasn’t really worried about the safety at home. Yan Feng was a complete homebody; unless necessary, he basically wouldn’t go out.

Auntie Li, upon learning that Huo Sining was going to Dongyang, was full of indignation, insisting that Huo Sining take many photos to show her. She said she also wanted to see what those Dongyang people, who once massacred thousands of the Huaxia people and committed heinous crimes, are like now.

Before boarding the plane, Huo Sining made her last phone call to Gu Xu, handing over the affairs of several stores in the Imperial Capital to him. She instructed that if there were any emergencies, Li Quan and Wu Jun should find him to deal with them. Gu Xu’s voice was somewhat hoarse, seemingly a bit weary, as he softly hummed a few times and then quietly reassured her to take good care of herself while outside.

Huo Sining was also a bit anxious. Although she and Gu Xu had always been separated in different places, at least at home it was still within the country. But now she was going to cross the Pacific Ocean, and she couldn’t help but feel a bit lacking in confidence, her heart uneasy.

After some time spent lingering, the airport broadcast announced the boarding, and Huo Sining hurriedly followed the large group to the boarding gate. In her rush, she accidentally bumped into someone nearby.

Huo Sining quickly apologized. Lifting her head, she suddenly felt a chill run through her.

”Miss Huo, I didn’t expect we would run into each other here; what a coincidence.”

The man opposite her was composed, with a smile as warm as spring, looking at Huo Sining with eyes seemingly filled with tender affection.

However, in Huo Sining’s mind, she couldn’t help but remember the day on that island when this person in front of her easily killed a man without even batting an eye. Just thinking about that scene made Huo Sining’s heart tremble with fear, and she subconsciously stiffened, a trace of fright flashing in her eyes.

”Mr. Fujiwara, what a coincidence. How come you’re here as well?”

Fujiwara Seiho smiled and raised the ticket in his hand: ”I’m returning to Dongdu for a visit. How about you? Also going to Dongyang?”

Huo Sining didn’t really want to admit it, but she was holding a ticket to Dongdu, which was quite obvious. Moreover, the teacher leading the group was calling ahead; lying at this point would be covering a cover-up, so she might as well admit it openly.

”Yes, I’m going to Sota University in Dongdu as an exchange student.”

Fujiwara Seiho nodded: ”An exchange student, huh? Sounds great. Sota University is one of the top schools in Dongdu. I hope Miss Huo enjoys her study there.”

Huo Sining nodded perfunctorily, noticing Fujiwara Seiho still staring at her. The queue at the security check was long, and it felt awkward standing in silence, so she awkwardly brought up a topic: ”Is Mr. Fujiwara’s hometown in Dongdu?”

This question, however, caused big trouble as Fujiwara Seiho, like opening a chatterbox, couldn’t stop talking at all.

”My hometown is in a small county in Dongdu, but I’m very familiar with Dongdu. Let me tell you, you absolutely can’t miss certain places when you go there. You must see them; it’s definitely worth the trip. The first one...”

He went on and on until Huo Sining reached the security check gate, still introducing tourist spots to her.

Huo Sining, not paying much attention, could only nod dryly a few times, feeling dizzy all over.

This person in front of her, could he possibly have split personality disorder? Otherwise, how could he change so drastically from the cheerful, joke-loving warm man to the ruthless killer who doesn’t bat an eye on the island? Are they really the same person?

Such a deceptive split personality, this person is too deep and terrifying; she should keep her distance from him, or otherwise, who knows when she might be harmed by him, completely unguarded. A chill involuntarily ran down Huo Sining’s spine, and she became increasingly wary of this person.

After passing the security check, Fujiwara Seiho was still talking: ”How long is Miss Huo’s exchange going to be? A school year? As it happens, I’m also staying in Dongdu until after the New Year. If Miss Huo encounters any difficulties in Dongdu, feel free to come to me, and I’ll do my best to help.”

Huo Sining felt the smile on her face stiffening, pulled at her facial muscles, and casually replied: ”Really? Alright, if there are any issues, I will definitely find you. We’re about to board, you are in business class, and I’m in economy, so I’ll go ahead. Goodbye, Mr. Fujiwara.”

Saying this, without waiting for Fujiwara Seiho to respond, she hurriedly dragged her small suitcase towards the economy class and quickly found her seat under the guidance of the flight attendant.

Huo Sining secretly wiped a cold sweat, relieved to have escaped Fujiwara Seiho’s entanglement, but she couldn’t help feeling uneasy. For some reason, Huo Sining felt this exchange student plan might not be as peaceful as she had imagined.

On the other side, Fujiwara Seiho watched the girl who had darted away like a frightened deer disappear at the cabin door, and he instinctively lowered his eyelids, hiding the dark and sinister glow surging in his eyes.

”Master, we should board too,” Etsuko Misaki reminded softly.

”Mm.” Fujiwara Seiho responded lightly, raising his long legs to walk into the cabin. Several flight attendants approached, their eyes lighting up green at the sight of this elegant man, eager to approach.

But the man in front of them ignored the row of beautiful and seductive flight attendants, walking expressionlessly into the business class. Beside him, Etsuko Misaki also had a cold expression, with a ’stay away from strangers’ demeanor.

The flight attendants immediately sensed the strong aura emanating from these two and retracted their initial thoughts, reverting to their highly professional attitudes.

The plane flew for over two hours, circling over the Pacific Ocean for a while before diving down steadily and stopping at Chengtian Airport in Dongdu. Filling out forms, getting off the plane, processing immigration procedures, fingerprinting, and taking photos, verifying identity, they were finally officially allowed to step onto Dongyang soil.

The twenty-some exchange students who came together were visiting Dongyang for the first time, all looking thrilled, chattering excitedly right after deplaning, their loud voices drawing glances from many nearby Dongyang people.

Dongyang people, accustomed to orderly and quiet waiting, couldn’t help but look at this noisy group more than once.

Some of the accompanying teachers also noticed the stares from others and felt embarrassed. They were leading the group, representing not just S University but the entire Huaxia community. They couldn’t disgrace themselves abroad, so one of the teachers immediately scolded them a few times, signaling the students to quiet down.
