The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1206: Chapter 1206: He Is Your Younger Brother

Shu Yu followed Little Song Le’s gaze and saw Quanquan playing enthusiastically with Maneki the cat.

Maneki is the stray cat Shu Yu adopted back then, initially living with the Lu family, and had a great relationship with the twins.

Later, when Shu Yu was exiled, the second branch of the Lu family went to the southwest with her, and it wasn’t practical to take Maneki along, so the cat was entrusted to Lu Sixing.

The first and third branches were unreliable, only Lu Sixing could take good care of Maneki.

Thus, during the eight or nine months that the second branch of the Lu family was away, Maneki stayed with the Yuan family, establishing a deep bond with the four of them, especially with little Quanquan.

After the second branch returned from the southwest, they considered bringing Maneki back. However, upon hearing this, Quanquan cried his heart out, almost fainting, and Maneki was unwilling to leave, so the second branch let Maneki stay with the Yuan family.

Nevertheless, each time Lu Sixing brought the two children over, Maneki would come along, becoming very familiar with this place.

At the moment, Maneki was in the midst of several children, meowing excitedly.

Quanquan had a blade of grass in his hand, teasing Maneki, laughing gleefully.

When tired from playing, his sister Sister Xiaozhen would give him water to drink, cousin Ah Ning would give him snacks, and recently, Baoya who was crazy about playing house, would wipe his sweat with a handkerchief, despite making him dirtier, and as his dear cousin, Lai Yuan, the little gentleman, would wipe him clean again.

Quanquan was almost like the center of the universe.

Looking at this scene, Little Song Le, quietly hidden in the corner behind the wall, appeared much lonelier.

Shu Yu pursed her lips, deep in thought.

She gently approached him from behind, and the child seemed to hear the sound and turned his head.

Seeing it was her, he became a little embarrassed, took a small step back, and didn’t look anymore.

As Shu Yu watched him turn to leave, she immediately squatted down, held his little hand, and said, “That’s your brother, you know.”

Little Song Le didn’t quite understand, lifting his head in confusion.

Shu Yu pointed at Quanquan, “That’s the kid playing with the kitty, he’s even younger than you.”

Shu Yu thought, Little Song Le might be afraid of kids older than him, because they could have bullied him. But what about kids younger than him?

Sure enough, as soon as she spoke, a hint of surprise flashed across Little Song Le’s face.

Shu Yu smiled and said, “His name is Quanquan, he’s five months younger than you.”

Quanquan now just turned two, the little guy looks short and small, but very fond of laughing, and when he laughs, it’s infectious.

Little Song Le blinked, staring intently at Quanquan, his little head slightly tilted, seemingly more curious about this younger brother who was several months younger.

Shu Yu asked him, “Do you want to be friends with him?”

A friend? Little Song Le was somewhat tempted; he had no friends.

Plus, he’s younger than him, so, so it should be alright?

He raised his head to meet Shu Yu’s encouraging eyes, finally hesitated, and nodded slightly.

Shu Yu patted his head, “Then you wait a moment.”

She stood up and walked towards the group of children playing, and Ah Ning was the first to see her, immediately running over and whispering, “Second Sister, I wanted Little Lele to come over, but he seemed really scared and hid away. So, I didn’t call him, but I deliberately played here with Sister Xiaozhen and the others. If he liked, he could quietly join us without attracting attention.”
