Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Half an hour.

After Lin Suiling finished throwing up, she rested in the lounge for a full half hour before feeling a little better.

During this time, Xu Yun also had someone tow the car to the repair bay.

As an international racing center, they definitely had a full range of wheels, so he spent 350,000 to have all four replaced.

It was the first time the surrounding mechanics had ever seen an Aston Martin Valkyrie hybrid, and they all took out their phones to take pictures.

Meanwhile, the system’s reward arrived.

[How can life be without passion? The Host, doing as he pleases, bought his first supercar and had his own ’fast and furious’ moment, making the woman in the passenger seat’s soul shiver with a wondrous thrill. Reward: 88,880,000 in cash!]

[Bank Account Balance: 320,000,000]

’I didn’t expect to get two rewards at once this time!’

Xu Yun was already unfazed by the 88.88 million.

Although his net worth hadn’t yet reached the tens or hundreds of billions, money was truly just a number to him now.

He didn’t care at all.

He couldn’t grind for cash, but his money was still inexhaustible.

Even if he spent the entire 320 million all at once, the system might just reward him with two billion a moment later.

After all, with the system around, the more money he spent, the more he would get!

He might not be the richest person in the world, but no one had the potential to be richer than him!

Xu Yun grabbed a bottle of water and went to the lounge, sitting down next to Lin Suiling. He offered it to her and asked, ”Want some water?”

”Thanks.”

Lin Suiling took a sip, looked at Xu Yun, and asked quizzically, ”Xu Yun, what exactly do you do?”

As a woman who dabbled in street racing, she knew just how terrifying Xu Yun’s driving had been!

His technique, that speed... who besides a top-tier F1 driver could pull that off!

When she first heard him say he wanted to test the car’s speed, she thought he just meant taking it for a spin on the track, maybe hitting 170 or 180 km/h at most.

But who knew he would push it straight past 300?

If she hadn’t shouted at him to stop, he would have pushed the car to its absolute limit!

”Alright, I won’t hide it from you anymore.”

Xu Yun said with a perfectly straight face, ”Actually, I’m the King of F1 Racing. I retired because I grew tired of all the backstabbing and intrigue on the circuit, and now I’m learning to be a normal person.”

”Fine, don’t tell me then,” Lin Suiling replied.

Seeing that she wasn’t going to get his real identity out of him, she gave up.

”By the way,” Xu Yun asked with a smile, ”does what you said before still count?”

”You said that if I could get your adrenaline pumping, make your heart race, and give you a thrill, you’d let me pick you up.”

Xu Yun continued, ”I’ve done all that now, so what do you say? Should we go get a room right now?”

Lin Suiling: ”???”

”You’re not going to back out, are you?”

Lin Suiling retorted, her face flushing, ”That’s not what I meant at all!”

”Fine, if you don’t want to, you don’t want to.”

Xu Yun stood up. ”Sigh. Women... can’t ever take them at their word.”

”Wait, what do you mean by that...”

Before Lin Suiling could finish her sentence, Xu Yun had already turned, left, and gotten into his car.

”Remember, you owe me one!”

With that, under everyone’s envious gazes, he drove off in his Valkyrie.

Lin Suiling: ”...”

「A moment later.」

Just as she was about to drive away, a mechanic approached her to ask for payment for the wheel replacement.

Only then did Lin Suiling realize that bastard Xu Yun had actually run off without paying.

It wasn’t about the money; that wasn’t important. What was important was how infuriating it was!

He’d had his fun.

But what about her?

Never mind that he’d scared her so badly she’d spent half an hour throwing up, or that he’d somehow forced her into ’owing him one.’ Now she even had to foot the bill for the new wheels.

Ugh, he’d gone too far!

She drove off and pulled out her phone to send him a voice message.

[Where are you right now?]

Soon, a reply came back.

[What, you’ve finally come around?]

Lin Suiling replied fiercely, enunciating every word: [That’s right, I’ve come around. You name the place. We can have a nice, long talk. If you still want to pick me up, it’s not impossible.]

[Nope. I’m afraid that after you’ve had your fun, you’ll turn around and accuse me of rape.]

Lin Suiling: [Xu Yun, you asshole!]

But the message didn’t go through. A red exclamation mark appeared next to it.

He had already deleted her as a friend.

Lin Suiling: ”!!!”

「Meanwhile.」

Xu Yun had already driven his new car to Xino’s villa.

After parking in the underground garage, he took the elevator to the ground floor and entered the living room, only to find no one there.

He then went to the adjacent kitchen area and found Xino busy working with a group of aunties.

”What are you up to?” Xu Yun asked, standing at the doorway.

Seeing that Xu Yun was back, Xino didn’t put down what she was doing and said with a smile, ”Go wait outside. I’m preparing a surprise for you.”

”What kind of surprise?”

”You’ll find out in a bit.”

”Alright.”

Xu Yun went out to the courtyard by himself and sat down in front of the fish pond. He picked up some fish food from the table and tossed it into the water, and a large school of koi immediately swarmed over from all directions to snatch it up.

After feeding them for a while, Xu Yun brewed himself another cup of tea.

Pre-Qingming Longjing.

Just then, Xino walked over, carrying a plate of pastries.

Xu Yun asked with a smile, ”Is this the surprise you prepared for me?”

”Mhm.”

Xino nodded. ”The aunties taught me how to make this osmanthus cake. I made it with osmanthus flowers I picked from the tree in the courtyard earlier today.”

”Wow, that’s impressive.”

”Go on, try one. How does it taste?”

”Okay.”

Xu Yun picked one up, popped it into his mouth, and took a bite.

Xino watched him with a look of anticipation.
