Super Rich by Doing as You Please

It’s not that rare to run into a celebrity in an airport’s VIP lounge.

If you fly a lot, you’ll often run into one or two.

Xino herself had run into them many times.

It’s just that these people held no attraction for her; at most, she’d spare them a few extra glances.

Being a superfan was out of the question.

She was quite puzzled that Xu Yun had taken the initiative to chat with the man for a bit.

”Do you know that singer?”

”No.”

”Then why did you go over to chat with him?”

Just as Xino finished asking, she noticed the autographed CD in Xu Yun’s hand.

She said in surprise, ”Don’t tell me you went to get his autograph?”

”Yep, that’s exactly why.”

”...” Xino.

Although she didn’t know much about the entertainment industry, she had heard many friends say that it only looks clean on the surface. In reality, it’s a huge mess. People play around wildly, and their values are completely outrageous.

In her friends’ words, almost no one in there is ”clean.”

Xino didn’t know if her friends were telling the truth or just exaggerating, but she figured it couldn’t be much better than they described.

That’s why, for people in her social circle, you rarely heard about rich kids being superfans. At most, they might like an artist’s songs or movies.

But not the celebrity themselves.

Xino said in surprise, ”I never thought you’d be a fan.”

”I’m not. I got this for a friend.”

Xu Yun put away the autographed CD and asked, ”What about you? Are you full?”

”I’m full.”

Xino giggled. ”When you’re really hungry, everything tastes delicious.”

Just then, an airport staff member came in to inform them that boarding for the flight to Hangzhou had begun and guided them toward the exclusive boarding gate.

After boarding the plane and getting to business class, Xu Yun and Xino had barely sat down when they saw Xu Song walk in alone, carrying a shoulder bag and wearing headphones.

He sat down next to them.

His assistant wasn’t with him.

’He’s probably in economy class in the back!’

Xu Song was also a bit surprised to run into Xu Yun again.

At the same time, he sized up Xino, who was sitting beside him.

’She’s very beautiful.’

Their eyes met, and Xu Yun took the initiative to smile. ”What a coincidence, we meet again. Are you also flying to Hang City?”

”Mhm.”

Xu Song replied, gave a polite smile, and showed no intention of continuing the conversation.

Xu Yun didn’t say anything more either, lowering his head to read the magazine in front of him.

He thought the conversation was over.

But who would have known that the beautiful woman beside him had other plans.

She happily said to Xu Song, ”Hello, Mr. Celebrity! I’m your fan. I grew up listening to your songs.”

”Thank you.”

Xu Song couldn’t be aloof with a wealthy fan, so he asked, ”Which of my songs do you like?”

”My sister says her beauty has a certain charm.”

Xu Song said awkwardly, ”You mean ’Excessive Explanation,’ right?”

”Maybe. I can’t remember the song title.”

”...” Xu Song.

’And you call yourself a fan who grew up listening to my songs?’

’You’re just trying to fool me, aren’t you!’

Sure enough, the next second, Xino said, ”Mr. Celebrity, can you give me an autographed CD too?”

”I’m sorry.”

Xu Song said, ”I don’t have any on me right now. They’re in my assistant’s bag.”

”No problem.”

Xino picked up a nearby napkin and handed it to him. ”You can just write on this.”

”Uh...”

Xu Song’s mouth twitched. He asked, ”Isn’t that a bit careless? How about we use something else.”

”But I don’t have anything else on me for you to sign.”

Hearing this, Xu Song suggested, ”Actually, if you don’t mind, I could sign your clothes directly. A lot of people do that.”

”No way.”

Xino refused. ”I just spent over 200,000 on this limited-edition outfit. It’s the only one I have!”

”...” Xu Song.

’Why do I get the feeling she’s looking down on me!’

’Hey! Weren’t you the one who asked me for an autograph in the first place?’

He was famous for his good temper, but even he was starting to feel a little frustrated.

But he was a public figure, so he could only manage a smile and ask, ”Then what should we do?”

”Teacher Xu, don’t mind her.”

Xu Yun, who couldn’t stand it any longer, chimed in from the side, ”She just likes to joke around with people.”

”It’s alright.”

Xu Song said awkwardly, ”Your friend is... quite interesting.”

”That’s not it. I really do want your autograph.”

Seeing Xino insist, Xu Song hesitated for a moment, then took off his white hat, signed his name on it, and handed it to her.

”Here!”

”Thanks, you’re such a nice guy!”

Xino said happily, ”Next time you have a concert, I’ll definitely be there to support you.”

Xu Song: ”...”

”Oh, right, when and where is your next concert?”

”Tomorrow night, in Hang City.”

Xu Song smiled. ”You and Mr. Xu are welcome to come.”

’You guys scammed a CD and a hat out of me. I have to get something back to feel satisfied.’

”Uh...”

Xino asked, ”But the tickets are probably all sold out, right?”

”I have a few front-row tickets on hand that I was saving for friends.”

Xu Song looked at Xino and said with a deliberate smile, ”They’re 1,680 each. I can sell them to you at face value.”

”Okay, thanks.”

Xino agreed and asked, ”Is it a QR code or a physical ticket?”

”...” Xu Song.

’She actually agreed!’

He originally thought these two fake fans wouldn’t want them.

’It’s not that they couldn’t afford it, but because they aren’t actually fans, they wouldn’t go!’

He hadn’t expected this outcome. Now he had no choice but to add them on WeChat.

”QR code.”

Xu Song said, frustrated, ”Let’s add each other on WeChat. I’ll send the tickets to you.”

”In that case, you can add my boyfriend!”

Xino smiled. ”Otherwise, if I add another guy’s contact info, he’ll get upset.”

”...” Xu Song.

’After all that, it turns out they’re a couple!’
