Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 126: Chapter 104: Forcing Me to Be an Upstart, Are You?

Liang Yan had to admit, she was a little impressed by Xu Yun’s shamelessness.

”If all cheating wives deserve to die, then why were you so into it just now?”

Liang Yan couldn’t help but taunt, ”So you get to screw me while cursing me out at the same time, is that it? Talk about double standards.”

”Isn’t everyone like that?”

Xu Yun wasn’t the least bit angry. ”When people are working like dogs,” he replied, ”they curse their bosses.

And when they become the bosses, they turn around and exploit the ones working like dogs.

People are like that. Where you stand always depends on where you sit.”

”Wow, you’re harsh. You even include yourself in that.”

”I’m not harsh. I just see things clearly now.”

Xu Yun said, ”You have to face yourself, accept yourself. When you find something you want to do, as long as it isn’t illegal, who gives a damn? Just do it and figure out the rest later.

The train only moves forward. The destination isn’t important; what matters is the scenery outside the window.”

”One day of happiness at a time, is that it?”

Liang Yan sighed. ”I really envy the life you rich kids have. Not like me, having to struggle every single day just to get by.

Sometimes, I even have to use my looks to please people like you.”

Xu Yun suddenly asked with some curiosity, ”What number am I? Or have you already lost count?”

’For some reason, men are obsessed with this sort of thing. They all wish they could be every woman’s first.’

”The second one!”

Liang Yan snapped, ”Besides my husband, you’re it.”

”I don’t believe you.”

”Believe it or don’t. I don’t care.”

Liang Yan didn’t need Xu Yun’s belief, but she explained anyway. ”The others before would grope me a little at most. They all pretended to be gentlemen, which gave me room to maneuver. Not like you, who just goes for it at the slightest disagreement.”

”Uh...”

Xu Yun gave an awkward laugh. ”Weren’t you afraid I’d refuse your request after we were done?”

”So what if you refused?”

Liang Yan said nonchalantly, ”It’s not like I’m some innocent virgin. At worst, it would’ve just been a one-night stand.

Besides, you’re handsome. It’s not like I lost out. I’ll just consider it me getting to sleep with you for free.”

Xu Yun was speechless.

’Damn, she’s absolutely right.’

’Who says the woman always loses out when a man and a woman sleep together?’

”Hold on, now that you put it that way, I feel like I’m the one who got ripped off.”

Xu Yun said, ”Not only did you get to sleep with me, but I have to pay you five million on top of it!”

”Oh, stop it. Don’t play coy after getting exactly what you wanted.”

Liang Yan shot him a glare. ”And what if your investment pays off? Then wouldn’t it be that you not only slept with me, but you made a fortune off me, too?”

”I guess that’s also true.”

Xu Yun laughed. ”President Liang, you truly are a businesswoman. You can spin the same situation any way you want.”

”By the way, there’s something I’m curious about.”

While waiting for Chen Xin to return with her clothes, Liang Yan had nothing better to do, so she asked, ”How can a wolf like you resist making a move on that girl of yours?”

”And how do you know I haven’t?”

”I asked. She said your relationship is completely platonic.”

Liang Yan said, ”Besides, I can tell from her demeanor and the way she walks that she’s still a virgin.”

”Alright, fine. I’m not an animal.”

Xu Yun retorted, annoyed, ”Some women, you can sleep with them the moment you meet. Like you.

And then there are pure, good women who need to be cherished and protected. With them, you have to let things develop naturally.”

”Right, right. I’m the bad woman, fine. I’m the cheating wife. I deserve to die.”

Liang Yan was suddenly fuming. ”Go on then, cherish your ’good woman.’ Goodbye.”

With that, she stood up, ready to storm out.

’That Xu Yun is a real piece of work. The moment we’re done, he completely changes his tune.’

’If I were really some virtuous woman, could you even have gotten your way?’

’Everything he says is so nasty, every word a deliberate jab.’

’If I listen any longer, I’ll really start to feel like a damned prostitute that anyone can sleep with.’

In reality, she hadn’t been lying to Xu Yun.

Other than her husband, Xu Yun was the only other man she had ever been with.

If she hadn’t been backed into a corner, who would ever choose this?

”Uh...”

Seeing Liang Yan about to walk out over a few words, Xu Yun called out, ”You’re really leaving just like that? Without even changing?”

”I’m not changing! I’m the ’bad woman,’ remember? Anyone who wants to look can get an eyeful!”

Xu Yun couldn’t help but laugh. ”Weren’t you acting all nonchalant a minute ago? I just poke a little fun at you and you can’t take it?”

Liang Yan stopped in her tracks and whirled around, fuming. ”How would you like it if I kept telling you what a small dick you have?”

Xu Yun was speechless.

Just then, Chen Xin returned from her shopping trip.

She saw Liang Yan standing by the door and asked, puzzled, ”Sister Liang, where are you going? I bought the clothes for you.”

”She knew you were coming back, so she came to the door specially to welcome you,”

Xu Yun teased from the side. ”What kind of outfit did you get her?”

”Just a casual outfit.”

Chen Xin handed her the shopping bag. ”Sister Liang, I just picked something out. I’m not sure if you’ll like it.”

”Thank you.”

Liang Yan took the bag, went into the bathroom to change, and came out saying, ”I have to get going. I won’t disturb you two any longer.”

”Did you give her the money?” Xu Yun asked.

”You pay her for me. You’re the one who ruined my dress.”

With that, she opened the door and left.

Chen Xin walked into the living room and sat down a short distance from Xu Yun.

They both sat in silence for a moment.

Xu Yun smiled. ”Go ahead and ask whatever’s on your mind.”

”Did you two really fall into the water just now?”

”Mhm.” Xu Yun nodded.

”Oh.”

”Nothing else?”

”Nothing else.”

Chen Xin stood up. ”I’m going to bed. You should get some sleep, too. Good night.”

”How much was the outfit for President Liang?”

Xu Yun turned his head and called after her, ”I’ll send you the money.”
