Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 115: Chapter 101: You’re Not Watching the Fireworks, What Are You Looking at Me For?

Xu Yun got dressed and came out to see that Chen Xin had already hidden back in her room.

He smiled, walked to her door, and knocked.

”I’m done with my shower. It’s your turn.”

”Oh, I know.”

From inside the room, Chen Xin replied, ”I’ll be there in a minute.”

Xu Yun pouted and went out onto the balcony by himself.

He found a chair to lounge in, enjoying the evening breeze from the 120th floor, and took out his phone.

Su Mu, Li Jinshu, and Ning Qian had all sent him messages.

[Su Mu: Where did you run off to?]

[Li Jinshu: Big-chested women are brainless. Don’t let her fool you!]

[Ning Qian: I bought a new outfit. I’ll wear it for you when you get back.]

After reading them, Xu Yun replied to each one.

[I’m on a trip to Shanghai. It’ll probably be a few days before I’m back. I’m counting on you to handle things at the company.]

[What can I say? I just have a thing for big-chested, silly women.]

[Alright, I’ll come find you as soon as I’m back. Don’t disappoint me, okay?]

After replying, he set his phone aside and gazed at the night view below.

Shanghai was much more prosperous than Jiangcheng.

That meant more and better things to experience and enjoy.

’Once I’ve had my fun in Jiangcheng, I should come live it up in Shanghai and see its dazzling nightlife.’

Now that he was rich, Xu Yun wasn’t thinking about settling down and building a career. He just wanted to enjoy life, one day at a time.

One day, when he’d truly had his fill of this life—when he’d enjoyed everything, done everything, and seen everything, until he’d lost interest in it all—he would return to Jiangcheng to live out his golden years in peace.

Did he have any regrets?

Of course he did. He had them right now.

In fact, there were many things he had wanted to do at eighteen that felt completely different now that he actually had the ability to do them.

For example, his high school crush, Bai Yuguang?

Back at graduation, how he’d wanted to walk right up to her and tell her, ”I like you.”

Could he still do that now? Yes, he could.

’But it feels so childish!’

’And the thrill I felt back then is gone!’

Besides, the girl she was now was no longer the same Bai Yuguang he knew.

Time and life can change so many people and so many things.

Some regrets are like that; once you miss your chance, it’s gone forever.

That’s why they’re called a ”white moonlight”—because there’s regret involved.

A woman who leaves no regrets can’t be called a ”white moonlight.”

Just as Xu Yun was getting sentimental, Chen Xin came out, having finished her shower and changed her clothes.

She looked at Xu Yun sitting on the balcony, hesitated for a moment, and then walked over. ”What are you doing out here all by yourself?” she asked.

”Star-gazing,” Xu Yun replied.

Chen Xin looked up at the night sky, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a single star to be seen.

”You’re lying. There aren’t any stars. I can’t see a single one.”

Hearing this, Xu Yun turned to look at Chen Xin.

With him lounging and her standing, his upward gaze didn’t land on her face at first. His view was completely blocked.

’Wow, they really are huge!’

Xu Yun smiled and asked, ”Not scared of me anymore? Daring to come over here.”

”I don’t think you’re that kind of person.”

Chen Xin said, her face a little red, ”You just like to joke around all the time. You’re never serious.”

”I wouldn’t be so sure. What if I really was thinking about it?”

Xu Yun said, ”You’re beautiful and have a great body. It’s perfectly normal for me to be tempted and have some ideas.”

”Being tempted doesn’t mean you’ll act on it.”

Chen Xin said, ”If you really dare to bully me, I’ll go back and tell your mom.”

”Er...” Xu Yun was speechless.

Seeing him stumped, Chen Xin laughed happily.

’So there is someone he’s afraid of.’

This made Chen Xin a little bolder, and she went ahead and lounged down in the chair next to Xu Yun.

”Aren’t you going to go for a swim?”

Xu Yun smiled and retorted, ”Didn’t you say you love this pool? Why aren’t you getting in?”

”I don’t have a swimsuit,” Chen Xin replied.

”I don’t know how to swim. I never learned.”

After they both spoke, they couldn’t help but laugh.

Xu Yun said, ”I’ll buy you a swimsuit tomorrow. We can’t let this pool go to waste.”

”Then I’ll teach you how to swim tomorrow night.”

”Okay.”

Xu Yun stood up. ”Let’s get some rest. There are no stars to see tonight.”

”...” Chen Xin was speechless.

’I’m trying to have a conversation with you, not look at the stars!’

「The next morning」

The hotel offered a wake-up call service.

And the one who woke Xu Yun and Chen Xin was their hotel butler, Yu Xuan.

After they had washed up, Yu Xuan led them to the restaurant on the 108th floor for breakfast.

It was a two-star Michelin restaurant.

To start, they were each served a bowl shaped like an egg. Lifting the lid revealed crispy, fried breadsticks topped with caviar.

The aroma was rich and fragrant.

Chen Xin took a delicate bite and thought it was delicious.

Next was a refresher before the main course: a lobster dish, and a medium-rare duck breast.

Finally, there was dessert.

Xu Yun wasn’t a fan of this part; it was too sweet, so he barely touched it. Yu Xuan and Chen Xin, on the other hand, ate quite a bit, each having two different desserts.

After the hearty breakfast, the trio was taken by a private car arranged by the hotel, which dropped them off at the entrance to Disneyland.

Since it was summer vacation, it was peak season for families traveling with children.

So when they arrived at the Disneyland entrance, Xu Yun and Chen Xin saw huge crowds and a long line that seemed to have no end.

”How long will we have to wait in this line to get in?”

Chen Xin consulted the info from her research and replied, ”The internet says that for a regular ticket, it’s probably about a two-hour wait.”

”Of course, we don’t have to wait in line.”

Yu Xuan smiled. ”We have the ultimate VIP pass, which gives us access to a dedicated entrance.”
