Chapter 118: Chapter 102: Godfather, My Apologies for the Earlier Interruption

After watching the fireworks at Disney, Xu Yun gave Yu Xuan a call.

Before long, Yu Xuan arrived in the hotel’s courtesy car to take the two of them back. Along the way, she also picked up a swimsuit for Chen Xin.

They had agreed that she would teach Xu Yun how to swim tonight.

Once they were back at the hotel, Chen Xin went to her bedroom. When she opened the bag, she was surprised to find a sexy bikini inside.

It made her blush crimson.

’Isn’t this a little too revealing?’

’But on TV, at the beach or at pool parties, it seems like everyone dresses this way.’

The thought of Xu Yun waiting for her in the pool outside made her hesitate for a moment before she changed into it anyway.

Standing in front of the mirror, she saw how incredibly sexy she looked. The bikini accentuated her figure perfectly.

Especially the fullness of her chest.

”You’re not ready yet?”

Xu Yun called from outside, ”If you don’t come out soon, I’m going to fall asleep.”

”Coming!” Chen Xin called back, telling herself it was fine. ’Don’t overthink it. Everyone dresses like this.’

She shyly opened the door and walked out. Barefoot, she took mincing steps to the edge of the pool on the balcony.

Then she quickly jumped into the water, as if it could hide her body from view.

Chen Xin stood in the pool. The water wasn’t as deep as a standard pool; it only came up to just below her bust.

As Xu Yun watched Chen Xin standing by the edge of the pool, looking at him with a shy, fidgeting awkwardness, he was truly taken aback.

Without her huge glasses, she looked much prettier than before.

And as for her chest—it was simply extraordinary.

’This woman... she looked so slender. Seems all the flesh went to the right places.’

Her clothes had hidden it well, so it wasn’t so noticeable. But now, on full display, the visual impact was staggering—just like Liu Yan back in her prime.

Get it?

Paired with her innocent face, she gave off an ”innocent yet seductive” vibe.

AHEM.

Xu Yun averted his gaze, gave a tactical cough, and said, ”Shall we start now?”

”Mm-hmm,” Chen Xin murmured, lowering her head.

And so, the swimming lesson began.

A perfectly legitimate lesson, of course.

But Xu Yun was a bit clumsy; he just couldn’t get the hang of it.

”Why is swimming so hard?” Xu Yun couldn’t help but complain, starting to feel like giving up.

He’d already accidentally choked on several mouthfuls of water.

Seeing this, Chen Xin said guiltily, ”Swimming isn’t hard. It’s just that I don’t know how to teach; I’ve never taught anyone before.”

”Not hard?”

Xu Yun retorted, ”How long did it take you to learn?”

”About ten minutes.”

Xu Yun: ”...”

’Talk about infuriating comparisons!’

’Forget it. I’m obviously not talented at this. I’ll just wait and have a coach at the fitness center teach me slowly.’

”You have fun for a bit. I’m getting out to rest,” Xu Yun said. He climbed out of the pool and lay down on a lounge chair.

After being in the water for so long, the skin on his fingertips was all wrinkly.

No longer held back by Xu Yun, Chen Xin began to swim around the pool happily.

After all, an opportunity like this was rare.

Xu Yun watched her, noticing she knew many strokes: breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle.

He watched for a little while longer, then went back to his room to rest.

When he woke up the next morning, he found Chen Xin was still asleep. He had no idea how late she’d been up swimming by herself the night before.

Since they weren’t in a rush, Xu Yun didn’t wake her, letting her sleep in.

She didn’t finally get up until it was almost noon.

She gave him an embarrassed smile, quickly freshened up, and then they headed out together.

The main item on the itinerary for the day was to see the Oriental Pearl.

In the afternoon, they went to the Bund and rode a tour bus.

At night, they planned to enjoy the night view of the Bund.

Yu Xuan watched the sightseeing boats passing on the river and said, ”Actually, the best way to see the Bund’s nightscape is from a boat. Unfortunately, the tickets sell out in advance, and we weren’t able to snag any.”

”If we can’t get tickets, then we’ll just rent our own boat.”

Xu Yun turned and said, ”Miss Yu Xuan, do you have the connections for something like that?”

”I don’t personally.”

Yu Xuan replied, ”But since you’re asking, Mr. Xu, I can try to make some calls and see if I can figure something out. I’ll try to get us a boat.”

”Thank you for your hard work.”

With that, Yu Xuan stepped to the side and started making calls.

After who knows how many calls, she actually managed to find a smallish cruise ship docked at the pier, preparing to depart for a night tour of the Bund.

After an intermediary made the connection, the other party agreed to take the three of them—for a price, of course.

Yu Xuan walked back over and explained, ”Mr. Xu, I’ve managed to find a boat, but the price is a little steep. I’m not sure if you’ll find it acceptable. They’re asking for 30,000.”

”Money isn’t an issue.”

Xu Yun said nonchalantly, ”As long as there’s a boat, it’s fine. Let them know we’re coming. We’ll head over now.”

Hearing this, Chen Xin interjected, ”Let’s just forget it. That’s too expensive. It’s highway robbery.”

”It’s not every day we get to be here. How can I let you leave with any regrets?”

Xu Yun smiled at Yu Xuan. ”Thirty thousand it is, then. It’s not a big deal. Besides, I’ve never been on a night cruise before, either.”

”Understood. I’ll go confirm with them right now.”

Yu Xuan wasn’t surprised by Xu Yun’s extravagance.

As a professional hotel concierge, she had served many wealthy people. Her mentality was long past being comparable to an ordinary person’s.

If this deal went through, she, as the client’s main point of contact, would get a commission from the boat owner.

Soon, the three of them arrived at the pier and saw the cruise ship, ready for departure.

It was luxuriously furnished.

After Xu Yun paid the captain, the three of them boarded the ship without a hitch.
