Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 113: Chapter 99: It’s Fine, as Long as It’s Not the Same Bed

First, the amount, then the donor’s name.

A familiar ID made Chen Xin’s heart flutter!

’Isn’t this [Angry Brother], the Huang Jinmeng donor from last time?’

’My tycoon is back?’

Then she noticed her reader group chat was blowing up with notifications.

A lot of people were @-ing her.

Needless to say, the last time it was this rowdy was also because of a Huang Jinmeng-level donation.

Chen Xin clicked into the chat and, holy crap, [Angry Brother] had already rejoined the group.

He’d even generously sent a 200-yuan red packet.

Chen Xin hesitated for a moment, then sent Xu Yun a friend request again!

This time, it was accepted instantly.

[Chen Xin: Boss, why are you back?]

In the living room, Xu Yun chuckled at her message.

[I’m looking for a girlfriend. My mom saw your picture and seems to really like you.]

[Chen Xin: ...]

[Angry Brother: How about we meet?]

[Chen Xin: Boss, I really don’t sleep with my patrons.]

[Angry Brother: Refund!]

[Chen Xin: Uh, okay. But you’ll have to wait until I get paid. And I can only refund you the amount I actually receive.]

Xu Yun stared at her message.

’This woman is so honest,’ he thought. ’She’s actually willing to give a refund.’

[Angry Brother: Just kidding, don’t take it seriously. Keep writing. I won’t read it, but I’ll keep donating.]

[Chen Xin: ...]

[Chen Xin: Thank you for your support, brother. I’m incredibly grateful.]

[Angry Brother: If you’re so grateful, then come out and have a meal with me.]

[Chen Xin: I’m getting the feeling you still just want to sleep with me.]

[Angry Brother: Your feeling is correct.]

[Chen Xin: ...]

’Whatever, I’m not going to dwell on it.’

’If he wants to sleep with me, that’s his business. As long as I stand firm and don’t meet him, it’ll be fine.’

Chen Xin checked her author dashboard again. Seeing the 100,000-yuan donation, she started rolling around freely on her spacious bed, no longer afraid of falling off.

”Hahaha, that’s another fifty thousand in royalties! I’ve got my travel funds now.”

To express her happiness and share it with her readers, she also sent a generous 200-yuan red packet in the group chat.

A reader asked, ”Author, where are you sleeping tonight?”

”You weren’t already carried off by the tycoon, were you?”

”She can still chat, so she must be fine.”

Bored, Xu Yun decided to pop up in the group chat.

[Angry Brother: What? The author slept with someone? I’m leaving the group. This is boring.]

[Security Captain: It’s over. The brother is jealous.]

[Successful Small Bed: Bro, that tycoon drives a big Bentley. He even sent pictures.]

Xu Yun looked at the pictures. ’Isn’t that me and my car?’

’And from this angle...’

’I see now. Chen Xin was secretly taking pictures of me and the car to share with everyone. I was wondering what she was doing on her phone.’

[Angry Brother: It’s just a Bentley. No big deal, I have one too. I also have a Porsche.]

As he typed, Xu Yun also posted a picture of his two car keys.

Instantly, a stream of ”666666”s scrolled through the chat. This guy was a real tycoon, too.

...

「The next day.」

Xu Yun woke up whenever he felt like it.

Chen Xin had gotten up very early. She was too embarrassed to wake Xu Yun, so after washing up, she could only wait for him in the living room.

It was already nine o’clock by the time he finally got up.

’Aren’t we supposed to be going on a trip? Why are we leaving so late?’

Finally, at a little past ten, the two of them drove to the airport.

Seeing the lines of people, she thought they would have to waste time queuing for tickets, but that wasn’t the case.

Soon, an airport staff member approached them. After confirming Xu Yun’s identity, a dedicated guide led them to the exclusive VIP security checkpoint, which wasn’t crowded at all.

They arrived at the VIP lounge, where they sat in massage chairs and enjoyed a limitless supply of free snacks and drinks.

When it was almost time to board, they were the first passengers to get on the plane, a private and swift process.

And all these privileged services were because Xu Yun was a private banking client of China Construction Bank.

Prestigious travel was just one of the services offered.

Not only that, but once they arrived in Shanghai, the bank had also arranged for a private car to pick them up and take them directly to their hotel.

On the plane, Xu Yun and Chen Xin sat in first class.

The space and environment here were on a completely different level from business and economy class.

Each seat was an independent massage chair by the window. It was very wide and could even be laid flat for sleeping.

There was a storage compartment for luggage, a reading light, and a small Louis Vuitton blanket.

Furthermore, guests could order their own food and had individual control over the TV, games, and music.

It was the first time for both of them.

Xu Yun acted relatively calm, while Chen Xin was quite excited.

After the plane took off, he looked at the laptop-like screen in front of him and reached out to press the service bell.

Soon, a beautiful flight attendant walked over and knelt beside his seat.

She smiled and asked respectfully, ”Mr. Xu, how may I help you?”

The flight attendants in charge of first class always learn the names and seat locations of their passengers before takeoff and memorize them.

”I’d like to order a drink.”

The flight attendant said politely, ”We have cocktails, champagne, and a variety of other beverages like coffee, Coke, Sprite, juice, and so on.”

”I’ll have a coffee, please.”

”Of course.”

The flight attendant asked again, ”Is there anything else I can get for you? We also have a selection of small desserts.”

”No, I’m good. Thank you.”

”Alright, Mr. Xu. Please wait a moment, and I’ll bring it right over.”

Chen Xin watched Xu Yun and decided to copy him.

She ordered a glass of juice and then a whole lot of small desserts.

’It’d be a waste not to eat, since it’s all free anyway.’

The flight from Jiangcheng to Shanghai was just over an hour. Since they had left late in the morning, they had to eat lunch on the plane.

It was, once again, free.

She had expected something like fast food, but when it arrived, the food was exquisite, almost like what you’d get in a restaurant, and it tasted great.

It was nothing like in economy class, where at mealtime, they just hand you a small bun to tide you over.

Xu Yun wolfed down two servings, while Chen Xin had one.

An hour passed quickly. Xu Yun and Chen Xin felt like no time had passed at all before the announcement came that the plane was about to land and everyone should prepare.

After the plane landed smoothly, Xu Yun, Chen Xin, and the other first-class passengers were allowed to deplane first, avoiding the crowds behind them.

They walked through a dedicated corridor and found the business car arranged by the bank waiting for them at the exit.

The hotel butler, Yu Xuan, was a very professional and beautiful woman.

After verifying Xu Yun’s identity, she had them get in the car and headed for the hotel.

The hotel was the J Hotel, a five-star establishment in Shanghai’s CBD with a deep partnership with the bank. It was located at the very top of the Shanghai Tower, the second-tallest building in the world and the tallest in China.

Because they had booked in advance, there was no need for them to check in at the front desk. Yu Xuan had already arranged everything.

She would also be accompanying Xu Yun and Chen Xin during their entire tour of Shanghai over the next few days.

It was essentially a private tour guide service provided by the hotel.

However, this service incurred an additional charge.

The J Hotel was 120 stories high. As Yu Xuan took the two of them up to the top floor in a high-speed elevator, she gave them a gentle reminder.

”Because this is a super high-speed elevator, we might experience some ear popping or discomfort as we ascend. This is normal.”

”We just need to cover our ears, open our mouths slightly, or swallow to relieve the pressure.”

As she finished her explanation, she took a card from her pocket, swiped it, and pressed the button for the 120th floor.

Chen Xin immediately covered her ears and opened her small mouth slightly.

Seeing this, Xu Yun laughed. ”Aren’t you overdoing it a little?”

”This is double insurance.”

Chen Xin had never been in a high-speed elevator before. She was being extra cautious to protect her ears.

”It’s not that serious.”

Yu Xuan also smiled. ”Miss Chen, you don’t need to worry so much.”

Soon, the elevator began to ascend, its speed clearly much faster than a typical elevator.

Xu Yun didn’t think much of it and neither covered his ears nor opened his mouth.

But as they reached a certain height, he did indeed feel a bit of pressure in his ears.

It wasn’t a big deal, though.

Seeing that Xu Yun hadn’t followed her advice, the nearby Yu Xuan casually stood behind him, rose slightly onto her tiptoes, and covered his ears with her hands.

This scene left Chen Xin, who was watching from the side, completely dumbfounded.

’You can get this kind of treatment just from riding an elevator?’

’Is this the daily life of a rich person?’

’It really opened my eyes!’

’Write it down! This is great material. I’ll write this into my new-rich novel when I get back.’

Xu Yun didn’t move, silently enjoying the warm service!

A moment later, the elevator came to a stop.

Yu Xuan released her hands, took two steps forward, held the elevator door open, and stood to the side, guiding him. ”Mr. Xu, please follow me this way.”

”Okay, thank you.”

Walking down the hallway, which was lined with a luxurious carpet, felt soft, like treading on a thick bed of pine needles.

Xu Yun asked curiously, ”I saw you swipe a card to get up here. Can other people not take this elevator?”

”Not exactly.”

Yu Xuan explained, ”Our hotel’s main guest rooms are on floors 86 to 98.”

”The top floor is generally the Executive Lounge, but it also has guest rooms—only four suites, though.”

”They are the ’Skyline Deluxe Suite,’ the ’Cloud Luxury Room,’ the ’Supreme Executive Suite,’ and the ’Starry Sky Romance Suite.’”

”These rooms aren’t open to the public. They are reserved exclusively for esteemed guests like you to book and use.”

’Damn,’ Xu Yun thought, ’this is the first time I’ve really felt how awesome the perks of this private banking card are.’

Yu Xuan led the two of them to a door and said, ”Mr. Xu, you booked our ’Starry Sky Romance Suite,’ which is designed primarily for couples.”

”???” Chen Xin looked at Xu Yun in confusion.

’How did we suddenly become a couple?’

Seeing Chen Xin’s bewildered look, Xu Yun said innocently, ”I didn’t know the hotel booked me a romance suite. I just told them it was for one man and one woman.”

”You aren’t a couple?”

Chen Xin answered, ”We are not.”

”My apologies, Mr. Xu.”

Yu Xuan was a little embarrassed and apologized. ”At the time, the bank told us it was for one man and one woman, so our hotel assumed you were a couple and specifically chose this room for you.”

”It’s fine, as long as it’s not just one bed.”

Xu Yun teased, ”Besides, I’m a big guy. It’s not like I’m afraid of her getting any ideas about me. I can protect myself.”

”...” Chen Xin was speechless.

’Hey, hey, hey! Didn’t you get that backward?’

’Shouldn’t I be the one worried about that?’
