Chapter 89: Chapter 87: You Want Me to Spank You Again?

After lunch, Xu Yun rested for a while in the master bedroom, on what was now Ning Qian’s bed, and took an afternoon nap.

’A woman’s bed is really something else. Even the quilt has a sweet, milky scent. It smells amazing.’

When he woke up, he found Ning Qian leaning over the side of the bed, watching him with a smile on her face.

She was wearing a white, low-cut, summery little slip dress.

Xu Yun could see everything at a glance and couldn’t help but laugh. ”Aren’t you afraid of a wardrobe malfunction?”

”Not at all. I’m at home, and I’m wearing it for you anyway.”

Ning Qian smiled and asked, ”How was your nap? Do you want to sleep some more?”

”No, I’m done sleeping.”

Xu Yun stretched, got out of bed, and said, ”I feel like it’s been forever since I took a nap. Sleeping for a bit today has left me feeling completely refreshed.”

”So, are you going to work this afternoon?”

”Nope.”

Xu Yun asked curiously, ”Have you been watching over me by the bed this whole time?”

”Mhm.”

Ning Qian replied obediently, ”I was afraid you might need me for something while you were sleeping, so I just grabbed my tablet and started watching a show next to you.”

”You’re overdoing it a little.”

Xu Yun smiled dotingly. ”Don’t do that again. It makes me sound like some kind of tyrant.”

”It’s fine. I wanted to.”

”In that case, I suppose I should reward you.” Xu Yun pulled her onto the bed.

....

An hour later, the bedroom curtains were pulled open.

Sunlight streamed in. The two of them showered together, then spent some more time being affectionate.

At this moment, Ning Qian was utterly satisfied.

A newly blossomed flower naturally craves watering, especially one that hadn’t been tended to in two days.

Since he’d finally come, it was a case of the more, the better.

’After all, who knew when he would come again.’

After showering and changing, Xu Yun asked Ning Qian if she had any plans for the afternoon. If not, he wanted her to come with him to run some errands.

Ning Qian was, of course, more than willing.

In her eyes, anything involving Xu Yun was of the utmost importance.

Everything she had, and everything she might have in the future, came from the man standing before her.

When they got to the garage and Ning Qian saw the two-tone white Bentley Flying Spur, the inexpressible surprise and delight in her eyes nearly overflowed.

”Xu Yun, is this a new car you bought?”

”That’s right,” Xu Yun said. ”Like it?”

”I love it.”

Ning Qian eagerly got into the passenger seat, saying with a little excitement, ”Back when I was at the mall, every time I saw someone getting out of a car like this, I’d be so envious. I never thought I’d get to ride in one myself someday.”

”Then after I’m done with my errands, I’ll drive you around the mall and let the other women get a taste of that envy.”

”Okay. Thank you, Xu Yun.”

”Looking for another spanking, are you?”

”I’m going to say it anyway,” Ning Qian said happily. ”Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

”I’m not falling for it. It’s not like I don’t know what you’re plotting.”

Xu Yun laughed. ”You just want me to stay over tonight and punish you. You want me to spank you, so I’m deliberately not going to.”

Seeing her little scheme exposed, Ning Qian gave a shy smile.

She really did want Xu Yun to stay the night at her place.

But she didn’t say it out loud, changing the subject instead. ”What about your Porsche?”

”Crashed it.”

”What? Was it serious?”

”It was alright. It’ll probably take a few days to repair,” Xu Yun said with a laugh. ”But I’m not in a hurry. I’ve got a car to drive now anyway.”

”So, where are we going now? You still haven’t told me.”

”To look for a place to set up an office.”

Xu Yun explained, ”I’ve already quit my old job. I’m planning to start my own company. I already got the business license this morning, so now all I need is an office.”

”So, what kind of place are you looking for?”

Hearing this, Ning Qian asked, ”Are you looking for an office building in the CBD?”

”Not really.”

Xu Yun said, ”Ideally, somewhere with a more elegant and quiet environment. A standalone building would be best. It doesn’t need to be too big, just a few hundred square meters.”

”Do you know of any places like that?”

”I don’t, but I know a friend from my hometown who works at a real estate agency. Maybe he has some listings that fit the bill.”

”Alright, contact him. If he has anything, we’ll go take a look.”

”Okay, I’ll call him right now.”

Ning Qian was very proactive. She immediately called him. When the person on the other end heard it was Ning Qian, he became very enthusiastic.

After all, they were from the same hometown, and Ning Qian was very beautiful. Most men had, to some extent, ’ideas’ about her.

But they only had the desire, not the nerve.

After hearing Ning Qian’s request, he said he had a place that perfectly matched her requirements.

So, after they agreed on a location, Xu Yun started the car and drove toward their destination.

On the road, Ning Qian noticed that other cars kept a wide distance from them. Even in the tightest traffic, other drivers would make space for them, terrified of an accidental collision.

Every time they stopped at a red light, she would feel the envious glances being secretly cast from the cars beside them, and in those moments, her vanity was satisfied like never before.

Soon, following the GPS, they arrived at the place Ning Qian’s friend from back home had mentioned.

It was by a lake, and the location was indeed a bit remote, but at least it was still within the city limits.

The area was filled with arts-related companies, such as photo studios, shooting sets, workshops, and so on.

The advantages of a place like this were the quiet environment, lush greenery, and cheap rent. The downside was that it was a bit out of the way, making the commute inconvenient—unless, of course, you had your own car.

Therefore, the companies and studios that opened here were not the typical office-building type.

Chen Peng lived closer than Xu Yun and Ning Qian, so he had arrived a bit earlier on his electric scooter.
