Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 85: Chapter 85: So Zhao Zilong of Changshan Is Nothing Special After All

In bed.

Su Mu couldn’t quite believe it when she heard Xu Yun say he wanted to start a company.

But given the financial power he’d shown so far, it didn’t seem like an issue.

However, starting a company is easy; making money is hard.

As the saying goes, you don’t have to worry about a rich kid who only eats, drinks, and plays, but you should worry about one who gets a sudden urge to start a business.

In reality, too many rich kids could have lived a good, worry-free life, but instead, they insisted on following others and starting a business to prove themselves.

And the result was always a complete and utter failure.

So, when faced with Xu Yun’s idea of starting a company, Su Mu wasn’t actually very supportive in her heart.

Although Xu Yun was capable, entrepreneurship wasn’t about professional skills; it was about a comprehensive set of qualities.

As a woman whose family owned a company, she knew that successfully running a business involved many factors and was very difficult.

Especially during the startup phase!

”Xu Yun, maybe we shouldn’t start a company.”

Su Mu thought for a moment and said, ”You’re not short on cash right now. Just have fun for a while.”

”It’s actually pretty boring to suddenly stop working and just play all day.”

Xu Yun explained, ”I’m planning to open a media company. I don’t expect it to make money; I just want to experience what it’s like to be my own boss.”

He didn’t tell Su Mu that the real reason for starting the company was to create a false impression for outsiders and conceal the source of his funds.

’If I own a company, it makes sense for me to have money, right?’

’You ask how I make my money?’

’Why do you care how I make my money? That’s a trade secret!’

”If that’s the case, then it’s fine.”

Su Mu said, ”I was just worried you’d suddenly get ambitious and want to build an empire. That’s not easy.”

”Nah, I’m a pretty laid-back guy.”

Su Mu suddenly grew interested. ”Since I’m unemployed anyway, how about I come work at your company? I can still do administration.”

”Forget administration. Be my secretary.”

”Why?”

”Haven’t you heard the saying?”

Xu Yun couldn’t help but laugh. ”When there’s work, the secretary does it. When there’s no work...”

He left the sentence half-finished.

Feeling a certain change in his body, Su Mu said, flustered and annoyed, ”Again? Can’t you think about anything else? Don’t you ever get tired?”

”You don’t know my nickname, do you?”

”What nickname?”

Xu Yun flipped over, chuckling. ”I am Zhao Zilong of Changshan! Demoness, taste my spear!”

”...” Su Mu was speechless.

...

Then, she balled it up and threw it into the nearby trash can.

”...”

Seeing this, Xu Yun laughed. ”I just bought those bedsheets. They can be used again after a wash.”

”I’ll buy you a new set, alright?”

Su Mu knew Xu Yun was teasing her. Blushing, she said, ”You buy it, and I’ll reimburse you.”

”That won’t be necessary. I can afford that much.”

Xu Yun said, ”You should go take a shower first. The takeout will be here by the time you get out.”

”Okay.”

Su Mu indeed felt sticky and uncomfortable. She said, ”Since you have a minute, go downstairs and buy me a box of pills.”

”Is your stomach hurting again?”

Su Mu gave him a helpless look. ”What do you think?”

It dawned on Xu Yun, and he immediately knew what she was talking about.

”Right, I’ll go right now.”

’I was just focused on finishing; I never thought about this part.’

Although his mom had been wanting a grandchild for a long time, he hadn’t planned on becoming a father this soon.

After all, he was still a ”child” who occasionally needed to ”drink milk” himself.

After Su Mu went into the bathroom to shower, Xu Yun headed out to the pharmacy near the residential complex.

It was the same kind-hearted, middle-aged woman from before.

She looked at the pills Xu Yun was buying and kindly advised, ”Young man, try to have your wife or girlfriend take this stuff as little as possible. It’s bad for her body and can affect having children in the future.”

Xu Yun was confused. ”Huh? If not this, then what?”

”Can’t you just take precautions?”

The middle-aged woman recommended, ”Our store is having a sale on Elephant brand. They’re ribbed, and it’s buy one, get one free. A great deal.”

”Uh, ma’am,”

Xu Yun said, slightly embarrassed, ”It’s not that I don’t want to. It’s my girlfriend who doesn’t like me using them.”

”...” The middle-aged woman was speechless.

’Are girls these days so willing to sacrifice their bodies for pleasure?’

On his way back, Xu Yun ran into a delivery guy, and when he asked, it turned out to be his order. So, he carried it back with him.

Meanwhile, Su Mu had finished her shower and come out.

She had even taken the time to go to her own apartment next door and change into a long, red, deep-V dress. Sitting primly on the sofa, she once again looked the part of a perfect, professional, and mature woman.

A certain saying could be used to describe her:

”A lady in the living room, a chef in the kitchen, and a freak in the bedroom.”

Seeing him staring at her, Su Mu smiled. ”What are you looking at?”

”If I had met you earlier and married you, we’d probably have a few kids by now.”

”Get lost. Who wants to have kids with you?”

As they ate their takeout together, Xu Yun asked curiously, ”You seem so smart. How did you get duped by your ex-husband back then?”

”Are you sure you want to discuss my ex-husband right now?”

”Let’s just talk. Don’t worry, I won’t get jealous.”

Su Mu hesitated for a moment before saying, ”I wouldn’t exactly say I was duped. We met in college. Back then, he was what you’d call a ’warm guy.’ I was young and naive, so I just sort of fell for him without thinking.

Then we graduated, and on the first night after we got married, I discovered that he... couldn’t perform. He was completely unable to do anything.”

”Ah... this...” Xu Yun was stunned.

”But to protect his dignity, I didn’t say anything and just had him secretly see a doctor for treatment. But nothing worked.”

Su Mu sighed. ”At the time, I thought that as long as two people loved each other, it didn’t matter whether we did ’that’ or not.”

”...” Xu Yun was speechless.

”That was until I discovered he was having an affair with a secretary from his company behind my back.”

Hearing this, Xu Yun immediately cut in, ”Wait, didn’t you say he couldn’t perform? How could he have an affair with a secretary?”

”That’s what I thought, too.”

Su Mu smiled. ”But guess what? When I confronted him, I found out that even though his body couldn’t do it, he and the secretary used all sorts of toys when they were together.”

”Well, I’ll be damned,” Xu Yun muttered.

”Tell me, what right does a man who can’t even get hard have to go out and find a mistress? So, in a fit of anger, I divorced him.”

Xu Yun’s mind raced for a second, and he asked in astonishment, ”So, if that’s the case, then you and I...”

”That’s right.”

Su Mu confirmed, ”In a way, you are my first real man.”

”That’s not right. When we were... doing it, you didn’t seem inexperienced. Besides, you didn’t even...”

”Are you talking about the ’first snow’?”

For once, Su Mu looked a little shy. ”I lost that by accident, on my own.

As for why I seem so experienced...

Do you think only guys watch movies to ’learn from the teachers’? We women watch them occasionally, too.”

”...”

’Well, I’ll be damned,’ Xu Yun thought. ’Absolutely damned!’

Listening to Su Mu, he recalled the scene from yesterday. There were indeed some puzzling things. He had just assumed she was a bit nervous and holding back at first.

’So she was also NO.1!’

She had just hidden it so well that he hadn’t noticed.

’It seems my ’First Clear’ buff is truly incredible,’ he mused. ’It’s always active. Even a woman who’s been married once couldn’t escape it!’

Realization dawning, Xu Yun slapped his thigh. ”That explains it! You’re so incredible, who could possibly handle you? It’s no wonder your ex-hubby still had the energy to fool around outside.”

”...” Su Mu was speechless.

Xu Yun then asked curiously, ”Sister Su, then why with me...?”

”After what happened with my ex-husband, I slowly came to terms with a few things.”

Su Mu smiled frankly. ”You’re easy on the eyes, I don’t dislike you, and you seem like a decent person. I decided to have some fun first and worry about the rest later.

Anyway, I’m a divorced woman. In other people’s eyes, my reputation probably isn’t spotless anyway, so there’s no need to pretend to be reserved.”

’My luck is just too damn good!’

Xu Yun couldn’t help but marvel inwardly. ’How did I get to run into something this good?’

After they finished the takeout, Su Mu returned to her own apartment next door.

Li Jinshu would be getting off work and coming home soon.

Su Mu didn’t want Li Jinshu to find out about their ambiguous relationship so quickly.

Before she left, she also took the bedsheet she had pulled off, saying she would help Xu Yun throw it away.

It felt just like she was destroying evidence.

Xu Yun, on the other hand, lay on the sofa, idly scrolling through his phone. He looked up the steps and documents needed to start a company.

He planned to get the paperwork done tomorrow morning and then look for an office space in the afternoon.

Then he could start hiring.

Not too many people. Just a few to make it look legitimate would be enough.

That evening, Li Jinshu came back and looked at Su Mu’s clothes with a confused expression. ”I don’t remember you wearing that this morning?”

”I changed after coming back from work.” Su Mu didn’t tell Li Jinshu that she had quit, nor that Xu Yun had also quit.

”I have to say, that outfit is both beautiful and sexy.”

Li Jinshu asked, ”What’s for dinner?”

”I’ve already eaten. You can just order some takeout for yourself.” After being worn out by Xu Yun all day, Su Mu really didn’t feel like stepping into the kitchen.

She lounged on the sofa, watching Jing Bairen’s recent suspense drama, ”Freshman.”

Although only a few episodes were out, it was quite good.

The key thing was, as she watched, she started to think that Jing Bairen looked a bit like Xu Yun.

”You like Jing Bairen, too?”

Li Jinshu, having changed her clothes, walked over and pouted. ”I actually think he’s not as handsome as Xu Yun.”

”...” Su Mu was speechless.

After saying that, Li Jinshu asked again, ”By the way, did Xu Yun come back with you after work?”

”No.”

Su Mu looked at Li Jinshu’s sexy lingerie and asked, ”Where do you usually buy these?”

”Online.”

Li Jinshu stared at Su Mu, surprised and delighted. ”Susu, have you finally seen the light? You want to try some?

How about I give you a set I haven’t worn yet to try?”

”No, thanks.”

Su Mu said in a small voice, ”Just send me the links when you have a minute.”

”Ha! You’re actually asking me for links to buy sexy lingerie.”

Li Jinshu said suspiciously, ”Has your heart been stirred? Are you thinking about getting a boyfriend?”

”No.”

”You definitely are.”

Li Jinshu suddenly thought of Xu Yun, and her heart skipped a beat. She immediately asked probingly, ”You haven’t fallen for Xu Yun, have you?”

”No!” Su Mu denied her suspicion, her face not flushing and her heart not skipping a beat.

”Susu, if you really do fall for Xu Yun, you have to tell me right away.”

”Why?”

”So I can move out and make room for you two.”

Li Jinshu pouted, then gave a meaningful smile. ”We can’t have the three of us living together forever, can we?”

”Don’t worry.”

Su Mu, having no idea what Li Jinshu was really thinking, replied, ”If I really do get together with Xu Yun, I will definitely tell you right away.”

Hearing Su Mu not denying the possibility, and not firmly stating like before that she would never get with Xu Yun, Li Jinshu felt a little uneasy.

’Could Su Mu have really fallen for Xu Yun?’

’Bodhisattva, please, I hope not!’

’I really don’t want to see that happen!’

She really didn’t want to wrong Su Mu or fight with her over a man.

She wanted to be on good terms with Su Mu, and she also wanted to be on good terms with Xu Yun.

But then she had another thought.

’Forget Susu for now. I need to take care of the external enemy, the other love rival, first!’

The woman who bought the house with Xu Yun.

She had actually dared to secretly and deliberately leave fingernail marks on Xu Yun’s back.

’This was undoubtedly a declaration of sovereignty to all other women!’

’Bring it on! Who’s afraid of who!’

In that moment, Li Jinshu was filled with fighting spirit!

What she didn’t know was that the owner of the nails, the person she was preparing to fight, was not Jiang Peiyao at all, but her best friend sitting right across from her, Su Mu.

And the reason Su Mu had left nail marks on Xu Yun’s back yesterday was indeed intentional.

However, she hadn’t done it for Li Jinshu to see, but for Ning Qian.

Because she knew about the relationship between Xu Yun and Ning Qian.

But who would have thought that the first person to see the marks on Xu Yun’s back would be Li Jinshu?

’Besides Ning Qian, my own best friend has slept with Xu Yun, too.’

’And her first time was even before mine!’

If the two of them knew they were secretly fighting against each other, who knows what expressions they would make.

As for the wrongfully accused Jiang Peiyao, she hadn’t even made a move yet, but she had already offended one woman and gained an imaginary enemy.

As for Ning Qian, even if she saw the marks on Xu Yun’s back, she wouldn’t have asked about them in front of him like Li Jinshu did.

She would just pretend not to see them and carry on in peace.
