The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 984: Chapter 984: Song Ci: I Want to Be a Widow

The return of Song Lingsu made the Song Mansion lively, but talking about Song Lingzhao, who had successfully enlisted and become a fresh recruit, there was a bit of regret.

After Song Lingzhao enlisted, who knows how many years it will take to truly reunite.

At the Mid-Autumn Festival banquet, Song Ci looked at this big family, feeling somewhat comforted. As more children were born, the Song Mansion was now bustling with people.

”Father, Mother, thanks to your blessings, our family is now filled with children and grandchildren.” Song Zhicheng raised his glass with a smile.

Old Master Song said: ”The more children, the more blessings. While you’re young, you can still have more, I say, you should take a concu... Ouch, old woman, why did you step on me?”

Song Ci blinked: ”Did I step on you?”

”You clearly kicked me just now,” Old Master Song said angrily.

”You got it wrong. I’m not that kind of person. For no reason would I kick you? Kicking you would hurt my foot and not be worth it!” Song Ci glared at him with a forced smile. ”But what did you just say? Take what?”

Her gaze was warning, as if to say, if you dare to speak, I won’t just kick, I’ll roll up my sleeves.

A good family reunion banquet, dare to mention that disharmonious nonsense about taking concubines, and old lady won’t spare you, old man.

Old Master Song: ”...”

The old woman was truly fierce.

Song Ci glanced at him and looked at Song Zhicheng and the others, saying: ”Now each of you brothers have several children, and the eldest and second are almost at the age to become grandfathers. The wives are not young either, so there’s no need to think about adding more children. This task is left to Su’er and the others.”

Song Zhiyuan: ”...”

Song Zhicheng: ”...”

Mother, you really didn’t need to say it so bluntly.

At the same table, the younger Song Lingsu and Song Lingjie blushed rarely, coughing once.

Song Zhiyu grinned slyly and whispered: ”Fourth Uncle will give you some good things later.”

As the nephews grow up and are about to get engaged, what they need to know must be learned.

At the next table, Niu Pan’er, who rarely returned to the mansion, pricked up her ears and glanced over, her eyebrows slightly raised.

Song Zhiqing felt somewhat frustrated because Song Ci’s words didn’t include him. He still had a chance to add children, after all, he had one wife and two concubines.

He looked towards the seats of the women and concubines, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Originally, he thought taking concubines was the most normal thing, and he felt a sense of honor about it, but now his three brothers, all legitimate, stayed with only their wives, without even a shared-room maid. All the children were legitimate.

Only he had four children, two legitimate and two illegitimate, and one was even foolish.

Song Zhiqing couldn’t explain how he felt inside, and emptied his cup of wine.

Old Master Song glanced at his youngest and said: ”Fourth, you need to work harder. Just having Shen’er isn’t enough.” Not to mention, this Shen’er doesn’t even carry the Song surname, so you must have more children.

Song Zhiyu smiled and said: ”Rest assured, Father. I and the Commandery Princess will not disappoint your expectations.”

Niu Pan’er blushed, touched her nose facing the sisters-in-law, and said: ”You all sit, I’ll go ask the people below when the sweet dumplings will be served.”

Madam Jiang pursed her lips and smiled slightly: ”Go ahead, today the sisters-in-law can enjoy the service of the fourth sister-in-law.”

Niu Pan’er hurriedly offered a hasty bow, and retreated as if escaping.

Old Master Song watched her leave, and whispered: ”Fourth, the Commandery Princess is already in her twenties. Do you want to discuss with her about bringing in a younger one...”

”Eat your food!” Song Ci stuffed a meatball into the old man’s mouth.

Simply unbearable, the old lady wanted to be a widow!

Everyone quietly looked down: ”...”
