The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 86: Chapter 86: Someone Actually Bullies a Ghost

Song Ci held the card sent by her little granddaughter, turning it over and over, thinking to herself that the ancients really loved this, sending a card for no reason even while living in the same mansion.

However, the little girl’s handwriting is truly beautiful. She has lived through two lifetimes, yet she feels inferior by comparison.

”This girl’s handwriting is quite good,” Song Ci handed the card to Nanny and said, ”But Nanny, don’t you feel that Wei’er, this child, is a bit mature for her age? She’s only eight, yet she seems as mature as a teenager.”

If you didn’t know, you might think she was reborn through time travel.

Nanny glanced at the writing on the card and said, ”That must be the guidance of the Third Madam in daily life. You forgot, the Third Madam writes beautiful Flower Hairpin small script. As for being sensible, indeed she is a bit mature, but back when Eldest Miss was her age, she was also very smart and clever, being the eldest daughter.”

There was something she didn’t say, that the Lu family is strong-willed and competitive, how could they not be earnest in educating their daughter?

Song Ci awkwardly said, ”That’s true, but I still feel the child is quite pressured.”

Nanny carefully glanced at her, lowered her eyes, and her gaze fell on the slightly clenched fists, lips lightly pressed together.

”By the way, send her a housewarming gift. I won’t join the children in this fun, as it might make them uncomfortable,” Song Ci said.

Nanny agreed with a smile.

”Madam, Doctor Lin is here to give you acupuncture,” Hong Xiu lifted the curtain and held it up, allowing Lin Qing to walk in.

Song Ci stood up with Nanny’s help. She was now accustomed to the daily acupuncture and massage, and as the sessions increased, her body felt lighter.

She didn’t expect, however, that this session of acupuncture would plunge her into a nightmare.

Song Ci watched herself in a cold sweat, submerged in water with only her head exposed.

No, to be precise, she was looking at the original host.

”Song Ci, you’ve occupied my body without doing anything productive. How ruthless you are; give me back my body,” the original host’s mouth opened and closed, drifting towards her underwater.

Imagine a head swimming towards you from the distance in the water.

How about it? Isn’t the imagery intense?

Without thinking, Song Ci kicked airily, ”You old ghost, who exactly are you trying to scare?”

Original Host: ”...”

Someone actually bullies even ghosts.

Seeing she had moved a bit further away, Song Ci said, ”Stand up, even as a ghost you should be complete. Look at you, buried in the water, what do you look like?”

The original host glared at her and stood up.

”Weren’t you supposed to reincarnate? How are you appearing in my dream? Trying to scare me, do you think it’s a good thing if I get scared to death?” Song Ci questioned.

The original host’s eyes flickered, saying, ”I forgot to tell you something, which is why I came back, only to find you occupying my seat without doing anything worthwhile.”

”How am I doing nothing? Am I not trying hard to live for you? Getting acupuncture and exercising every day to maintain your broken body, otherwise, how could your family’s eldest son honorably be a Prime Minister, with the whole family joyously happy? I say, Madam, you’re being a bit slanderous.”

The original host, somewhat abashed, lifted her chin, ”I don’t care. While you inhabit my body, you must promise me to protect the Song Family’s prosperity and find a good wife for my youngest son.”

”Oh, Madam, you have such ambitious ideals. If you’re so capable, why don’t you do it yourself,” Song Ci snorted. She absolutely couldn’t stand threats, saying, ”Anyway, it’s already frustrating enough for a young, beautiful girl like me to be in the body of an aging old woman. Go ahead, yank my soul out, maybe some unfortunate soul will come to help you accomplish the great task of founding a prosperous family and raising children.”
