I AM the Football Star

Chapter 143: Chapter 56: One Day Apart, ”Score a Hat Trick” (Part 2)

”Did you see my position just now? I could only pass the ball to the right, I didn’t have time to turn around.” Morici spread his hands, meaning, why don’t you try?

”That’s because your basic skills are shaky. If your ball control was better, maybe you’d have more options. Have you seen my foot control? You could learn a bit, I don’t mind teaching you some tricks...” Lu Yang said as he returned to his defensive position.

Morici rolled his eyes, Captain, huh!

The old Lu Yang wasn’t this talkative.

Clearly, he just wants to show off his captain’s privilege, that’s why he ”lectured” him.

Petty guy who gets cocky!

But oddly enough, Lu Yang’s skills are pretty average, yet sometimes his ball control is like a computer glitch; once the ball drops, it can’t go up again.

It’s really bizarre.

While criticizing Lu Yang in his heart, Morici gave Fernandez a thumbs up for the pass.

Fernandez felt warm-hearted.

Receiving Bai Zhami didn’t give him a thumbs up, but Morici did, letting him know his handling was good.

Morici was using this way to let his teammates know how to play.

To be fair, Fernandez’s pass surprised Morici. No wonder Fernandez is said to have potential as a winger and midfielder swing player. His basic skills are quite solid.

Lu Yang and Morici’s actions puzzled Tom on the substitute bench.

”What are they doing?” Tom asked.

Sotu replied, ”They’re trying to use their way to lead the team and guide the game.”

Tom was bewildered.

WTF?

Sotu explained, ”Lu Yang spoke first, jokingly blaming Morici for the unfinished attack.”

”This shuts down criticism of Bai Zhami, protecting his attacking enthusiasm. Morici knows his relationship with Lu Yang and won’t take it to heart, understanding Lu Yang’s intentions and willing to cooperate.”

”Likewise, this tone set the attitude for our game: strategically disdain the enemy, tactically respect the enemy!”

”Our team is new, still in the early stages of running-in, definitely prone to many mistakes. Don’t let this game cause dissatisfaction with mistakes leading to team conflict.”

”Adapting to mistakes is necessary for change, Lu Yang does well. Morici also affirms Fernandez’s play, showing friendship.”

”For Morici, the core, people who he can coordinate with are adaptable, based on fixed styles like Fernandez’s decent passing ability and slower speed.”

”If Fernandez’s style keeps changing, Morici will struggle to coordinate.”

”They’re imprinting their spirit and tactics on San Remo step-by-step.”

Tom seemingly understood.

Is it really so profound?

Are you sure this isn’t just Lu Yang and Morici’s daily sweet gesture?

...

Anyway, Bisceglie’s attacks began to show caution after that counterattack just now.

San Remo had its counterattack capabilities.

Especially Bai Zhami, just now, no one could catch up with him.

Therefore, in Bisceglie’s subsequent attacks, someone would definitely ”keep an eye” on Bai Zhami.

The same situation quickly occurred again.

San Remo’s solid defense attracted Bisceglie’s attack.

They pressed almost entirely forward, leaving the backline extremely vulnerable.

This time veteran Rondo made the interception and sent the ball to Morici.

Morici quickly turned and shot a pass.

The direction was perfectly left flank.

Bai Zhami sprinted immediately.

But the opponent quickly brought him down.

Moreover, the opponent cleverly dodged the Main Referee’s gaze.

But at the same time, a figure brushed past the opponent.

Lu Yang charged up again.

Counterattack Vanguard plus Side Road Fast Horse!

His speed wasn’t slow, like he’s high on adrenaline. When he caught up to the ball, the pursuer was at least a body length behind him.

Just like Fernandez’s earlier situation, continuing dribbling was possible but cutting inside was difficult, as it would be blocked.

But Lu Yang handled it differently from Fernandez.

Lu Yang decisively chose to cut inside.

This brought him closer to the defender, resulting in direct physical confrontation.

However, the defender didn’t expect Lu Yang was prepared for contact.

BAM!

Lu Yang pushed forward, benefiting from the collision’s force.

Meanwhile, the opponent was slowed down by Lu Yang’s impact.

For a moment, although the two were close, Lu Yang suddenly gained distance.

With one cut inside, Lu Yang completely left the pursuer behind.

This body use left Fernandez dumbfounded.

Most young players fear confrontation.
