I AM the Football Star

Chapter 125: Chapter 49: Sparking an Italian Youth Storm (Part 3)

Morici had one assist and one goal, making him the only player on the Star of Italy who could create threats with his passes. If Sevajos is the offensive core, then Morici is the on-field core, orchestrating both offense and defense.

Sogel’s shot was saved but then followed up and scored, counting as an assist. His mutual torment with Millwall’s defense was a crucial factor in the team’s victory.

Parrot scored a goal, but his roaming attracted a lot of attention from Millwall’s defense. Without his disturbance, Lu Yang and Morici’s advances would not have been as threatening.

Bai Zhami scored a goal, his distinct characteristics making him a constant counterattack threat. As long as he’s on the field, the opponents must be wary of his counterattacks, or they will suffer the consequences.

Versachi, although without much data, had the most movement on the field next to Lu Yang, truly an all-around warrior. He can take on any position and perform every task well.

Lu Yang achieved two goals and one assist, covering a distance of over 13 km, completing the most tackles and interceptions of any player. He dominated both offense and defense for the Star of Italy, entirely deserving the title of the best player on the field!

In the post-match interview, Lu Yang responded to reporters’ questions: ”I’m very grateful for everyone’s rating, but the best player award for this match should belong to every member of the Star of Italy Team. Sevajos is an offensive core. Monaco, you’re really fortunate. You’ll make at least ten million from Sevajos, I promise! Give him the main position, nurture him, he won’t let you down!”

”Porto, don’t hesitate, Parrot is your perfect answer for the central forward position; he’s a perfect finisher and can win the Golden Boot in the Portuguese Super League! Otherwise, he’ll go to the Bumblebee to win the Bundesliga Golden Boot!”

”Liverpool, take a look at Lam’s performance. He deserves a position in the first team. As long as he has a tall partner, he can mitigate any attack in advance!”

”Maniero, please help me tell the Juventus president that Canyes is the biggest treasure of the Juventus Youth Team. He can make the right wing of Juventus soar!”

”As for Morici... I just want the Italian Football Association to act quickly, or he’ll join the Croatia National Team!”

Lu Yang was incredibly articulate, and the media expressed their satisfaction.

Even among these teams that Lu Yang shouted out to, some sports directors stepped forward for interviews, saying they are willing to consider Lu Yang’s suggestions.

After all, the Star of Italy program has now become immensely popular across Europe!

Selecting a batch of young talents from the country to form a new team and challenge the second-tier teams has surprisingly led to victory.

Don’t doubt it; this is something that any professional player or coach would not have believed before.

Club football is always the highest level of competition in football.

Any second-tier league club team is at a level comparable to national teams of football powerhouses.

This is even considering the influence of those superstars.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t be a comparison; it would be superiority!

But this time, Italy created a miracle.

Are their young talents that outstanding?

Is Italian football truly on the verge of revival?

After the legends fade, has Italian football finally found its own youthful storm?

These questions have arisen due to this match, bringing the spotlight onto them.

More and more people are flying to Turin, eager to witness the ”Italy U19” VS England U19” match in three days!
