Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

The composition of the air in the Demon Realm is different from that on Earth. The oxygen content is too low, and the impurities and harmful components in the air are too high. Overall, in Wen Yu’s view, this is not a continent suitable for living.

However, maybe the Demon Tribe lives happily here? That’s not important. A slight change in air composition doesn’t affect experts much. When he first arrived, the smell of the Demon Realm made Wen Yu feel an inherent discomfort, but as the transformation of race succeeded, this discomfort had long vanished.

Wen Yu even felt that this place was more unrestrained than Earth.

The Level Lock circling around his body had already disappeared, which meant Wen Yu only needed to absorb a Level 7 magic crystal to smoothly advance to Level 8. However, this was not the most urgent matter, and Wen Yu never thought about advancing now — being at Level 7 and having the strength to kill a Level 11 expert head-on, the so-called levels didn’t seem that urgent to Wen Yu.

Of course, this is just a small part of the freedom...

More importantly, Wen Yu could show off his absolute strength here without any restraint!

Just as now...

Accompanied by white spots of light pouring down like rain, where the white light enveloped, sounds of despairing wails kept ringing, filling Wen Yu’s ears, and as an exchange, Wen Yu gave it a swift end.

Dark forces surged forth, landing where the light was pervasive, and the two quickly fused into one, turning into a deep gray, which seemed like a bone-eroding toxin fiercely eroding the enemy’s greatest foundation — Origin Energy... Thus, in less than a minute, this asymmetric battle was over.

A tall body fell from mid-air, crashing into the ground, causing a huge pit. Then, a black shadow flashed, and Leoja swung his massive dragon tail, curling up the corpse of the strongest independent hero from the Wilderness Border and respectfully presented it before Wen Yu.

”Your might, my lord!”

Much like the most faithful lackey, Leoja opened and closed his ferocious mouthparts, Not Hiding At All his flattery, while Wen Yu just nodded lightly, then swung his right hand, merging two beams of light into a gray blade, cutting off an arm from the Ancient Demon.

”This is yours.”

”Generosity of my lord!”

Leoja was overjoyed beyond measure, knowing he backed the right person...

This scene made Ye Nan on the side feel uncomfortable — if not for the existence of the Contract Fortune, Leoja might have already changed loyalties, seeking a new master for himself...

Fortunately, there was the contract... But wait, Wen Yu can sever his own Contract Fortune... Damn...

The more Ye Nan observed, the more dangerous he felt, and the more fragile he sensed himself facing Wen Yu. Luckily, Wen Yu really didn’t give these trivial matters any thought, nor did he place his attention on them.

”So, this is the last Level 11 demon creature in the Wilderness Border?”

”Yes, my lord.”

Facing Wen Yu’s inquiry, Leoja detailed all the information he knew.

”My lord has killed a total of thirteen Level 11 demon creatures, including the Second City Master of the Wilderness Border, in the last month. These are all the high-level forces in the entire Wilderness Border. Moving further out, it’s the Endless Void, and expanding inwards leads to the actual ruling area of the Demon Clan Army.”

”Hmm.”

Wen Yu nodded slightly, recalling the map of the Demon Realm he saw some time ago in his mind.

The Demon Realm covers ninety percent of the planet’s land area, and the division of forces in the Demon Realm is also distinctive — the Wilderness Border is at the far east, and further east is the world’s edge, the Endless Void. According to Leoja, even a Level 11 powerful expert would vanish into thin air if recklessly crossing the boundary of the Endless Void — the world barrier, disappearing without a trace ever since.

Leoja’s words were vivid, and indeed Wen Yu had witnessed it, even throwing a Level 10 demon creature into it. As soon as the creature left the world barrier, it was shredded into pieces by an unknown energy, so Wen Yu saw no reason to explore further.

Perhaps it’s the awe of the world barrier’s might, or maybe his heart truly had no desire to explore it. Overall, the so-called Endless Void extinguished Wen Yu’s exploration intentions after a brief look.

Heading westward is the actual ruling area of the Demon Clan Army — strictly speaking, the entire Demon Realm is under the control of the Demon Clan Army, acting like a world government, regulating all major and minor affairs of the Demon Tribe. The Demon Clan Army ruling area is divided into seven major sections, corresponding to the seven war zones on Earth. The spheres of influence among the seven are entangled, but generally, they remain peaceful. On the map, Wen Yu also discovered that among the seven ruling areas, Lord Demon Spirit’s territory is the largest and closest to the west, but according to Leoja, the ruling area of Lord Demon Spirit is the place with the worst law and order in the entire Demon Realm.

Lord Demon Spirit is like a reclusive hermit, entirely indifferent to the affairs within the ruling area, only temporarily appearing during external invasion wars. However, he seems not very interested in these matters either — even the appearance of Lord Demon Spirit is a huge mystery in the Demon Realm.

At least Leoja is unaware, he only knows that Lord Demon Spirit is very powerful.

Coincidentally, the ruling area closest to the Wilderness Border is the territory of Wen Yu’s old friend, Legas...

However, Legas doesn’t know that Wen Yu has come to the Demon Realm, and Wen Yu isn’t in the mood to look for trouble with Legas. Currently, Wen Yu has many matters to take care of.

Like the spoils of war.

...

After clearing out all Level 11 existences in the Wilderness Border, Wen Yu returned to the First City with Leoja and Ye Nan. Over the past month, Bai’s whereabouts have been elusive, even rarely seen by Wen Yu.

After bidding farewell to Leoja and Ye Nan, it didn’t take Wen Yu long to return to his residence.

Opening the door, the environment of the whole room came into view.

Maybe due to Leoja’s size, all the rooms in this castle are built on a large scale, making the room appear empty, with nothing but a bed at the innermost aside from any other arrangement.

Well, that’s how it looked when Leoja just gave this room to Wen Yu. Now, the entire room has been filled with a layer of green vines, and in the midst of the vines, a dozen corpses with different appearances are neatly arranged, with vines deeply embedded within their bodies, constantly pulsating as if transporting something.

It looked eerie and evil.

”Boss, you’re back...”

A familiar Spiritual Fluctuation came, and upon hearing the voice of the Almighty Demon Vine, Wen Yu nodded, while looking at the only upright vine in the room.

That vine was sturdy and strong, like a small tree, hanging with densely packed Red Fruits, among the red, occasionally revealing slight white light.

These are Wen Yu’s spoils of war...
