Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

As the time reached precisely two o’clock in the afternoon, Qin Min adjusted the suit he was wearing.

Qin Min was fair and clean-looking, and wearing a suit made him appear quite formal.

Just like an extremely professional host, Qin Min walked cleanly and smartly up to the podium and gave the people below a slight smile.

”Next, I announce that the Ultimate Force Team is officially established. Everyone present here is the first batch of members of our Ultimate Force Team.”

No one made a sound,

Although Qin Min’s announcement seemed a bit ”self-assertive,” after Tang Haofei’s ”invitation” and under the presence of the two towering figures of Wen Yu, no one could deny the fact of being an Ultimate Force team member.

It doesn’t require your consent! As long as I say you are my team member, you are my team member!

Tang Haofei’s second personality, though harsh in temperament, was full of an unspeakable arrogance when doing things!

Seeing the silent crowd below, Qin Min nodded with satisfaction, cleared his throat, and spoke once again.

”Our Ultimate Force Team is an organization that upholds democracy and freedom. If any of you don’t want to join the Ultimate Force Team, you can say it out loud. These matters can all be discussed.”

Wen Yu coughed lightly at the right moment, stopping the restlessness among the crowd below.

”Since no one objects, very well, now let me explain the purpose and significance of our Ultimate Force Team’s establishment!”

...

”Our Ultimate Force Team is initiated by Sequence Number 1, Mister Tang Haofei, and recognized by Sequence Number 2, Lord Wen Yu. The purpose of the organization is to resist the invasion of the Demon Tribe. Everyone present here, as the pinnacle experts of the Human Race, is naturally the main force in resisting the demon plague, but as the saying goes, ’a single man’s plan is short.’ You are all scattered across different regions, distances too far apart, just like a thread. And Mister Tang Haofei’s establishment of the Ultimate Force Team is to weave all those threads into a strong rope, to become the sharpest sword against the Demon Tribe! The strongest shield for the Human Race!”

”Pfft...”

Wen Yu couldn’t help but suppress his laughter, even to the point where his face twisted somewhat...

How similar,

What Qin Min said was so similar to when he formed the Independents Mutual Aid Federation in the name of ’freedom’!

They are all lofty ideals and visions...

But just who are the people present? They are all super experts who have climbed out from mountains of corpses and seas of blood, not so easily fooled.

Ideals sound nice when spoken, but doing them is too hollow!

No one can live by ideals alone; what does one rely on to live? Eating and drinking! That’s what’s important!

But this organization thing... Well, ultimately, it’s about painting a big picture for the people below, just like some companies talk about corporate culture, discuss ideals, ambitions, life, but never talk about money...

I work for money! Don’t talk to me about ideals; my ideal is not to work! (Ahem, I’m going off-topic…)

In summary, Qin Min was just putting on a show, like a warm-up performance.

Sure enough, the gaze in the audience was wandering… Back before the apocalypse, that would be the moment before pulling out a phone to play a round of Glory of Kings.

Wen Yu also got goosebumps from listening, but he couldn’t intentionally tear down the platform; instead, he kept a cheerful look, occasionally clapping to stir some emotion below.

All in all, well, it was as if returning to a pre-apocalypse conference setup.

...

About an hour later, possibly sensing the impending looks from behind, Qin Min cleared his throat again and cleverly cut short the remaining half of his opening remarks.

”Alright, what I just mentioned is the purpose and significance of the establishment of the Ultimate Force Team.”

”Now, let’s talk about what benefits everyone can receive as a member of the Ultimate Force Team!”

The audience below perked up.

”Intelligence.”

Qin Min solemnly said two words.

”It is intelligence. You know, Mister Tang Haofei, as Sequence Number 1 of the Human Race, along with his status as Cathay’s military Protector God, particularly excels in acquiring intelligence—on one hand, it comes from internal Cathay military intelligence.”

”And on the other hand...”

Qin Min intentionally paused.

”It involves Sequence Number 1’s authority! Mister Tang Haofei can obtain a great deal of valuable intelligence from the Dominator and Treasure Land Protector!”

”As members of the Ultimate Force Team, all this intelligence will be shared with every one of you present!”

Suddenly, a wave of discussion erupted below.

...

Listening to the noise below, Qin Min remained silent, waiting until the noise subsided. Then he cleared his throat twice, drawing the attention of the audience below.

”Today, here, in the first internal meeting of the Ultimate Force Team, I will notify everyone of two pieces of intelligence!”

Qin Min slowly raised his index finger.

”Firstly, the Level 5 to Level 6 Level Lock will open within two months! Based on the current pace, the precise timing should be in 53 days, but due to the uncertain factor of the Demon Tribe, this time is not entirely accurate. However, 53 days—it will only be sooner, not later!”

”According to the Treasure Land Protector, the promotion trial from Level 5 to Level 6 will be a solo confrontation mode—two people battle, the winner advances, the loser cannot challenge the promotion trial again within one day! Challenging the promotion trial requires a payment of 300,000 points, which I suppose is a small amount for everyone present, right?”

”In this process, the Dominator has given preferential treatment to the sequence—each sequence is guaranteed a promotion quota. As long as you enter the Promotion Space, you will win without a fight and advance directly!”

”This is the first piece of intelligence from Mister Tang Haofei for everyone, which is also a free benefit given to everyone!”

The chatter rose again—for the crowd below, the promotion trial intelligence was not so crucial since if these people couldn’t pass, then no one else could pass the trial either.

The key point was the timing of the Level Lock opening!

53 days,

Depending on the Demon Tribe’s actions, it might even be quicker.

It is imaginable that, the moment the Level Lock is broken, a large number of Peak Level 6 Demon Fiends would surely emerge from the Demon Realm’s Gate—with Early Stage Level 6 fighting against Peak Level 6, or even Level 5 against Level 6, that is the most challenging time!

Having a reasonably certain timeline allows everyone to prepare in advance, which indeed is very important.

...

Qin Min lightly tapped the table to draw everyone’s attention.

”Next, is the second piece of intelligence, and it is also the focus of this meeting!”
