Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

After waiting for nearly an hour, Rahal finally yawned, stretched lazily, and opened his eyes.

The little fellow was well-behaved, swiftly climbed out of bed, dressed, washed his face, and then sat back quietly on the bed, his big dark eyes staring unblinkingly at Wen Yu.

Sensing Rahal’s gaze, Wen Yu turned his head and sat down beside Rahal, gently touching his head.

”What’s wrong? Did you see something again?”

Rahal hesitated for a moment before nodding.

”I saw a large group of people in military uniforms, flying planes over from that side, and there were so many big birds beside them. They seem to be coming to pick me up.”

Rahal pointed towards where the sun was rising.

”Do you want to go with them?”

”Yes!”

Rahal nodded firmly.

”It’s better there.”

A child’s world is always straightforward and simple.

...

After a simple hotel breakfast, Wen Yu took Rahal by the hand and walked straight out of the hotel.

Perhaps it was the Indian Government Army responsible for reconnaissance that spotted Wen Yu’s silhouette. The negotiator beside Cyclops ignored Cyclops, who was less than a meter away, and charged towards Wen Yu with reckless abandon, shouting, ”Sir, sir! I am...”

However, in the next second, Wen Yu lightly snapped his fingers.

The power of the Netherworld flashed, and this negotiator was transported to some unknown alley in a residential area, unable to react at all.

Wen Yu did not care who this unknown guy was, nor did he care what he wanted to negotiate about, let alone what the Indian government behind him would think of his actions.

In a world where individual power can override everything, Wen Yu could do whatever he wished—even ignore the ”negotiations” initiated by a major power!

”Star.”

Following Wen Yu’s command, Star, hiding somewhere unknown, expanded, the giant dragon wings blocked out the sky, and then Wen Yu summoned Cyclops. Amidst the anxious, respectful, and fearful gaze of the surrounding crowd, his entire body transformed into a black light, taking Rahal directly onto Star’s back.

”Set off, eastward!”

...

The giant dragon quickly soared into the sky, then spread its wings over New Delhi.

With the mission complete, Wen Yu no longer had any reason or plan to stay here, so there was no need to painstakingly hide his presence.

With a casual wave, he created a pitch-dark screen to shield Rahal from the oncoming wind. Wen Yu dialed a communication line, and after a detailed discussion with Lin Na about the meeting location, he instructed Star to slightly adjust its direction.

Perhaps it was the impending parting with new friends, or possibly the prospect of leaving his homeland, carrying a sense of uncertainty about the future, Rahal seemed somewhat sullen throughout the journey.

The wrinkled little face slightly stirred Wen Yu’s softness deep within. Gently stroking Rahal’s head, Wen Yu’s gentle voice sounded.

”Yanjing is a wonderful place, full of skyscrapers, unbreakable city walls, and the strongest army along with the strongest humans, no, the strongest creatures in this world. There is also a very gentle big brother. There you will never be threatened by those terrifying monsters, no one will snatch your food on the streets, and there is no war or strife of various kinds.”

”There is also a variety of delicious food to ensure Rahal gets chubby. You’ll have teachers to educate you, and you can wear beautiful clothes to school and make a lot of new friends your age, not like big brother’s age, but new friends like Rahal’s age. You will grow with them and witness the future together.”

”When you grow up, you will meet a group of like-minded companions who will face all the hardships and dangers of this world together...”

As he spoke, Wen Yu’s eyes drifted.

No matter how much resentment he held towards Lin Haifeng or any negative impressions about the Yanjing Assembly Site, it is undeniable that the Yanjing Assembly Site is truly a good place—a peaceful sanctuary, with dangers from the outside world firmly blocked by the umbrellas of Lin Haifeng and Tang Haofei.

”Is that true? Is there really such a good place in the world?”

Looking at the bright eyes in his arms, Wen Yu nodded affirmatively.

”There really is! Yanjing is one.”

”Yay~~”

Seeing Rahal cheer joyfully in his arms, Wen Yu smiled faintly.

”But, can I take Dirang and Xima with me?”

Just after bouncing a few times, Rahal seemed to think of some difficult problem and returned to a tangled expression.

”You can. Once you arrive, you’ll meet an old grandpa with half-black and half-white hair. Tell him, and he’ll arrange for someone to bring Dirang and Xima.”

”But...but...”

Rahal mulled it over for a while, then widened his eyes and looked at Wen Yu.

”Big brother, can you do me a favor?”

Children’s thoughts are easy to guess. Wen Yu immediately guessed Rahal’s request, so he nodded.

”Brother, can you take care of Dirang and Xima for a bit? I’m afraid they might be in danger.”

Perhaps afraid of troubling Wen Yu, Rahal patted his chest and promised, ”Rahal can see that the half-black half-white grandpa is easy to talk to, and it won’t take more than two days.”

”No problem.”

Wen Yu readily agreed to the simple request—after all, Wen Yu’s original plan was to send Rahal away and then remain in India.

After all, the war environment here was suitable for Wen Yu to strengthen himself.

Taking a little extra effort to care for Dirang and Xima was simple for Wen Yu and wouldn’t take much time.

”Thank you, brother!”

Hearing Wen Yu’s commitment, Rahal immediately became joyful, gave Wen Yu’s cheek a big kiss and then whispered into his ear as if telling a secret.

”Rahal will tell brother a secret, Rahal’s ability can still be used one more time.”

Already perceiving everything, Wen Yu feigned a surprised and exaggerated expression: ”Really?”

”Yes.”

Rahal nodded emphatically, then infinite starlight flashed in his eyes.

Rahal’s solemn and sincere voice rang in his ears.

”This is Rahal’s farewell gift to brother.”

The familiar power surged into the depths of the soul. Wen Yu appeared surprised, but deep down remained calm—pure, naive, and grateful.

The young fellow showed promise!

Of course, this did not exclude the influence of the ”personal touches” Wen Yu blended into the wonderful dream created for Rahal with his Dream Shaping Ability the previous day...

Silently lamenting for the Yanjing Assembly Site in his heart, Wen Yu then opened his eyes.

The starry sky unfolded before his eyes.

”Make a wish!”

”I want to know the Dominator’s purpose!”

”Beyond skill capability range, cannot be fulfilled, please make another wish.”

Simple.

Direct.

And, unsurprising.

However, the situation was not as bad as it could be—after stating the unfulfillable wish under Star Praying, one could still make the next wish.

But for Wen Yu, it was useless...

Currently, Wen Yu didn’t need any information, or rather, the information he needed was beyond what he could afford.

The gift Rahal gave Wen Yu, using up the cooling time of a year’s Star Praying, indeed seemed a little wasted.

Then let’s switch to intelligence about a Super Treasure Land, Wen Yu thought to himself.

”I want...”

However, just two words in, Wen Yu abruptly cut himself off from saying more.
