Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Chapter 813: Chapter 183: Grace

”Are you satisfied?”

Upon hearing Wen Yu’s voice, Grace gently nodded, her face still lingering with disbelief and a slight daze.

This mission, in the mission assignment center, was designated as A-Class! Red Danger Level, requiring group operations, and it wasn’t issued to mercenary groups with fewer than 500 people.

To secure this mission, our captain used some methods, combining several mercenary groups of the same scale, pretending to be a large team, barely passing the evaluation!

However, in one move!

For the powerful expert in front of us, an A-Class mission required only one move.

”Sequence-class...”

The word mumbled from red lips, a legendary term for Grace.

And then...

Grace heard the man next to her let out a disdainful sneer.

”If you’re satisfied, then lead the way.”

”Understood, Sir.”

Grace replied softly, lightly brushing her hair.

”That way!”

...

The woman beside him drew closer and closer, her idle chatter now and then, along with her undulating water-like eyes, constantly exuding a sense of lust.

Although there was no fragrance—you wouldn’t expect a mercenary to have much fragrance—but her graceful figure, charming age, and deliberately flirtatious gestures truly stirred up male desires.

A very simple fact, this woman was tempting him, as for the purpose...

Too many. Wen Yu had too many aspects worth a woman setting aside her pride and body to please.

Wen Yu did not resist this.

Love, for Wen Yu, is undoubtedly a luxury, and he can’t afford the consequences—refer to Qin Shiyuan and Qin Tian.

In this world, no one adheres to phony morals like leaving family out of enmity to engage in ”fair” duels!

When the objective is to eliminate the enemy, the means and ways don’t matter, and the biggest weakness of a powerful expert is obviously the important ”non-expert” around them. Using emotion to blackmail an opponent is a very simple yet extremely effective method!

Some even, in their final moments of life, deliver a cruel counterblow—a death parting shot by taking several of their enemy’s close friends and lovers with them—is nothing short of wonderful...

However, just playing is absolutely no problem, and Wen Yu himself isn’t an ascetic.

So, when the woman’s body got closer and closer, Wen Yu didn’t feel any aversion, just slightly shifted his body to evade Grace’s enthusiasm.

”I have a task at hand.”

The woman’s disappointment was apparent, but Wen Yu’s next words rekindled her hope.

”If you don’t mind, you could give me your contact number. Maybe we can have a drink when my task is over, what do you think?”

The woman’s playful laughter seemed to convey the outcome of Wen Yu’s overture, of course, the exchange of contact numbers was one-sided.

Wen Yu wasn’t interested in taking calls from a ”stranger” and discussing irrelevant matters.

Besides...

Wen Yu glanced at Grace; her body fitness less than 500 points indicated she was an excellent partner—below Peak Level 4, for Wen Yu, this was an easily satisfying level.

Perhaps a casual diversion? Of course, Wen Yu preferred to turn it into a pure transaction.

Mutual consent, you give, and I repay, uninvolved afterward.

Perfect.

...

The Giant Dragon slowly descended on a secluded spot outside New Delhi City. Cities have their rules, and one important rule is ”aviation control”—after the apocalypse, there aren’t few professionists that can fly, let alone their battle pets.

Coupled with Wen Yu’s status as an external powerful expert and Sequence Number 2, though Wen Yu wasn’t afraid of trouble, it didn’t mean he wanted to cause it—substituting walking for flying avoided a lot of unnecessary attention.

Following Grace all the way to New Delhi, the speed of a Level 4 professionist wasn’t fast, but it was decent. It didn’t take long for the massive solid city wall to appear in the distance.

...

The city entrance inspection went smoothly. Right now, New Delhi was a mix of various elements, combined with the tense situation, the whole city exuded a sense of anxiety before a great battle.

Walking on the streets of New Delhi, Grace served as a guide.

”This is New Delhi’s slum area, the most chaotic place in the entire city. Various gangs, organizations, and mercenary groups have their temporary bases here, not to mention some black market dealings.”

”That’s the Indian Government Army’s camp; they protect the walls of New Delhi.”

”This is the Burning Mercenary Brigade’s temporary base; it’s one of the largest mercenary groups in New Delhi, reportedly formed after the apocalypse.”

”That’s the territory of the Blackwater Mercenary Troops. You’ve heard of Blackwater, Sir, right? It was the largest mercenary group before the apocalypse.”

Grace spoke animatedly, but Wen Yu let out a bored yawn.

Previously, Wen Yu might have been interested in these things, but now...

Burning, Blackwater, Indian Government Army, Wen Yu could only say they’re all trash!

Different strength leads to different perspectives and ideas; now these miscellaneous organizations and associations, even including governmental powers, appear vast and intimidating, but for Wen Yu, if one sweep of the hand doesn’t solve it, two will.

Not up to par...

Of course, Wen Yu wasn’t about to spoil Grace’s good mood. If she wanted to talk, Wen Yu would listen, treating it like a story, as he wasn’t in a hurry.

Thus, in their hurried footsteps, Grace led Wen Yu all the way to their rendezvous point—the Noida Hotel.

...

Initially, Wen Yu thought the rendezvous location would be in a secluded, chaotic, and inconspicuous place, yet the Noida Hotel before him refreshed Wen Yu’s perception.

Located within New Delhi’s bustling business district, it didn’t look luxurious, but it was indeed grand.

”Is it here?”

Wen Yu’s query received a definitive answer.

”Yes, it is!”

Grace affirmed with a nod, as Wen Yu shoved a sack into Grace’s arms.

”Your task is complete, here’s your payment.”

Grace hesitated for a moment, slowly opened the bag, revealing nearly a hundred Level 4 and Level 5 magic crystals shining brilliantly in the sunlight.

Just a glance, and Grace’s breathing immediately intensified. Anxiously, she shoved the sack into her neckline, her face becoming even more alluring.

”Then I shall take my leave. Oh, don’t forget my contact...”

With that, she threw a big air kiss.
